Sas, this was on the path report, so I'm not able to talk to the doctor that dictated that!!

Yes, I think I did my homework!

when I read that, it just scared the crap out of me, because I read that to mean that the cells could be in my blood stream!!

Hello Shellshine hows Hawaii? Hospice wear you out yet? DS?DH? Any playtime?

Chevy did you think your double posting wouldn't be noticed ? Did you twitch? There there (pat on back and a warm beverage) you will feel better each day about your neighbor.

Enerva loved the videos' on the nordic walking especially the gal that invented the pole. When I made the statement about what a great thing cross country skiing was that was from eons ago. Now there is such a huge following for nordic walking. Did you notice the gal in the second video had poles with straps when the first gal identified that they were the leading cause of injury to the nordic walker? LOved that the first gal talked about Evidence Based Research studies, that means there is science behind what they are doing :) cool.

LMG--it's HOT here usually I'm okay with it. But not today. OH remeber having to walk on those dead bugs at camp. UGh, city girls aren't used to that. The counselors used to just laugh at us

    Susan, LOL yeah LOL

Blondie sometimes I take my pain meds and they almost give me an upper feeling, then I crash ???? My DD had 2 cats but both were fixed and both females. But I really don't know, but the got along wonderfully. Our dog is a male and my cat is female and she very bossy with this big dog and he listens????

Nettie u are brave --as all of u--I have never once read anything on my reports, when they told me not to worry I didn't , when they told me things didn't look so good I told them to worry--I know everyone else reads and gets involved and u should I realize that, but I said I'm a coward so I just ignore all of that.

Enerva, it's not new here, docs been after me for years to do it. He wants to do my lower spine, never heard of it elsewhere. They don't sedate you, but you do need a driver. And it hurts like hell. No thanks. When I crawl into the orthos office, we'll do the fusions. Nothing before

TangaRangastormyevening - Hope you are hunkered down. We've just got the blow off from the cloud tops already but don't think we will get anything, too far west. I have the Channel 8 radar open in another tab. There is some stuff dropping due south out of OK but I think it'll go too far west. We're stuck in the middle.

I can't believe you still have the drain. When is the PS visit? Hope (fingers crossed) he has some other plan. Geesh. I think I'd use it for a noose for him.Winking

Nettie, I'm sure your docs took all into consideration in planning your treatment, but always ask questions if you are not sure.                                                                                                                                           What a stressful day, after rads, I took my 99 year old mom to the dentist. He said she needs a tooth pulled but because of heart issues, I had to take her to an oral surgeon. They were good enough to squeeze us in right away, but warned us we would have to wait. I got lost on the way and then she complained the whole time, because she has 0 patience. I was so tired, but could not reach my husband for back up. To top it all off I started with this itch and wanted to get home to put my aloe on. When I finally got home I found some little bumps, like bug bites. Has anyone else had something like this? Thought I was doing so well, today was only my 12th. treatment, so it seems soon. Thanks for listening ladies, and I wish you all the best, having real issues with all of the names right now, as I am beyond stressed, sorry. Stephanie

Luv....that link you posted is about where I live.    You can see the newly hatched mayflies on radar.   They are attracted to light and are the cause of a few traffic accidents.  There will be piled several inches deep on the road.  When I arrived at work on Monday, there were quite inthe entrances.  They cleaned them up quickly.  It would not be a good time to be camping as your tent (and everything else) would be covered with them.

Dutchy - you live up Wisconsin way? I heard one report that the goo from the mayflies on the road caused traffic accidents. Yuck and more yuck. But they are very happy with them, says indicators that the river waters are getting cleaner.

Oh yes we have the crickets that go for the light. We are having major invasion of grasshoppers. Never knew they came in so many varieties. But we don't have to snow plow them up.Winking PTL the scorpion invasion has stopped. DH sprayed some whopper bug killer juice.

We may yet get some rain. Beginning to fill in some but loosing rapidly the daytime heating effect.

Stephanie - just make sure RO's nurse or RO in person sees the bumps tomorrow. They may need to intensify the cream/lotion regimen. Can't remember if you had RO that dictated what you used or not. Mine did - prescrip. cream that I've completely forgotten name of and Aquaphor. I hated the Aquaphor but it did work. I wore camis over my bras and nothing stained. I was working as a nurse and my scrubs were perfect as were the bras. BUT make sure they see bumps tomorrow. Doubt - almost certain - won't change your treatment course. Just what you are applying. There are a ton of creams out there, most some kind of mail order. I found non locally when I looked (Ft. Worth area) but used California Baby Calendula cream (from Target) after treatment. Love that stuff still. Sprouts or Whole Foods kinda store might have something. You can google creams for radiation burns and get all kinds of choices. RO might even have some samples to try - I know mine did.

Hope you got your mom settled. Sounds like a bugger bear of a day. (((HUGZ)))

Thanks Luv, I will tell them about it tomorrow, I am only using pure aloe from the plant so far, and he did say I could us 1% hydrocortisone for any irritation so I applied that. I found my hubby, he was visiting his mom but his cell phone had died, he went for my mom's meds, made her some dinner and took her home. I had some dinner and a little rest and I'm feeling a little better, Stephanie

OK Susan hope you have snuggled into pajamas and brushed your teeth and are getting ready for bed. Do you have extra help you can enlist if DH needs it Friday? But I bet he will do fine. Probably glad to be rid of ugly GB, right! Have you got him set up comfy in a nest area - remote, tissues, phone, bell to ring for you (kidding but maybe not). Be in your pocket (maybe not DH's - he might not understand) on Friday.

Fierce Blue Bird is an angel.

Kristine was a loved member of the "Moving on" thread, and someone there mentioned she was active on this thread too. We thought you would want to know of her passing.

Nihahi, thanks for letting us know...

Heartbroken for FBB....she was a gift to us. So intelligent, and caring. I knew her prognosis was very serious, but I thought she had more time...

Looking back at my PM, Kristine sent me her address 4 days ago, to share with you all. I am shocked & sad.  I think she was in her early to mid 40's.

I am thinking of her DH & kids, they will receive our cheery cards in a day or two. Then the sympathy cards will arrive. If someone in our group knows what post page #, ( not sure if that what it's called ) of Kristine beautiful photo, she posted maybe a month ago. She showed us her hair after chemo, maybe a photo before chemo also. It was probably when we were doing the throw back Thurs. thing. ( thanks Jwoo, never heard of that before cause not on FB )... It would be lovely if someone can find that and post it again... I will try.....
