In the case of me against the door while chasing my little girl, its her fault, she's a fast bugger!
The online class I'm taking is called Great Books, its kind of like an English class. Wish they had Math classes online where I could do them at home, but sadly they don't

Morning gals! My little friend "Lesa" came to spend the day with me! I used to baby-sit her, and then she would walk to grade-school with my 2 Daughters... Kept in touch... Now married with 2 grown children... Her Mom and her just don't .... I mean her Mom doesn't want to have anything to do with her or her family... She started taking drugs, when she worked at the Hospital... Did it's damage big time... Only cares about herself, and her monitored life at a group home...
Lesa just remembers having fun, playing with our girls, and her slumber parties at our house..... LAUGHING and giggling the whole NIGHT!

But we talk about EVERYthing, and she laughs and teases me, and I give it right back to HER! Hah! We walked up to Starbucks, and around old Elitch's, and remembered when it used to be an Amusement Park, and not a "neighborhood"....
Sooooooo glad she wants to be a part of my life still!

SAS - Aka. Proud mama. I can see the video of a lady atty but no volume. Can you hear it ?
Susan - wishing you good luck to kick the insurances butt. My bug girl panties are torn and wearing thin but they still work. Lol. Go get em.
Chevy - wow ehat a difference you must have made in lesa's life. How cool. Well done
Blondie. - hugs

Chevy you have sown seeds of kidness and love all your life haven't you! Looks like you reap the crop sown that's why Lesa comes back. Applause for you! Yay Sass on your DS's accomplishments, makes all that hard work child rearing/ college support worth it doesn't it?
Susan hope you get the insurance machine to cough up what you need. Are they being butt heads because of hitting a life cap? I have heard of that happening but never had it happen to me personally. We have asked for review and mediation and won those appeals so far anyway. PIA though!
Patty glad you are feeling better. (((Hugs))) Blondie and anyone else who needs one.
We had a lovely day at a gorgeous Rododenderon Gaden yesterday. I mean there were waterfalls, baby geese and tiny ducklings, herons a beaver.. wow Then acres of gorgeous colorful rhodies some 2 stories tall. I took so many pictures. If I can organize them into a file I will try to show some. It was a splendid day.. sunny and warm, cool in the shade. Perfect. Any day spent in a garden is perfect in my opinion! Cheers all!

Morning all,
CHEVY, Jazzy said it well, you are a happy, loving, supportive women. We all wish we could walk to Startbucks with you, giggle & enjoy the moment.

Those little girls are adorable. I love native dance costumes & hats.

Ok, this last photo I stole from 4sewwhat, on the booze thread. I could not resist. For those of you that do not "know" 4, she is a "tart". Hung out with our senior members too long. he......he....

Oh so hAppy for DS. His presentation time went very well. His case was defending DCF. The appellant(suitor) complaint was DCF HAD A DUTY TO ACT. After a complaint was made and investigation was done and closed.
The court has time till they issue their opinion.
If they find for the appellant based on the elements of the case, it would effectively prevent closure of any case.
THANKs to all that listened. They ran about fourty minutes behind.. the video and audio had trouble. I could only get audio. Typing on kindle pita.
What fun!

Hi gals! It is really raining here!
So can't plant my pretty petunias.... Thanks Rosie & Loverly! It's like for all the bad things that happen lately, something is good, right around the corner.... ! Having Lesa come back, after over 4 years, was kind of like a miracle... We talked a lot about her Mom, and how their life was growing up... I can't believe what a well-balanced gal she became, considering what went on with them....
She came to see me for Mother's Day.... brought me some little "cards" she makes out of pictures of her flowers... Some fresh corn she has grown, blanched, and frozen.... AND a beautiful card!
She said ... "Jeannette.... Thank you so much for spending time w/me today. Your love, influence and compassion have been w/me since I was little.
It's hard to express how much you are a part of who I am today. Through your example, the unconditional love and acceptance I have found love and acceptance for myself. You will always be in my heart!
Thank You! Love Lesa...." Awwwwwww....
And we talked about horrible things that have happened in both or our lives, that made us so grateful for who we have become..... So I'll be thinking of her when we go to the funeral tomorrow....
And then I'll go see Carol Friday, after I have lunch with Sheilah.... my Daughter's X MIL.... We have to hang onto our "friends".... They sometmes mean more to us than our "in-laws"..... Ha!

Susan, I found one for you

Sas, handsome boy. Congrats on your son's accomplishment.
Jazzy, did you take that picture of the lightning?
Rose, can't wait to see the picture.
Ms.Chevy, to echo what Rose had already mentioned, you have sown the seed of love and now you get to see and enjoy the harvest of your labor. I am learning that building relationships is one of the most important things in life.

hi on kindle.....
Chevy. So sweet about Lesa, her words truly say how much thought went into thinking about her time with you. Bless you.
Jazzy thanks I'm jazzed lol. Susieq you got audio and video-- oh jealous. I hope to be able to go to the archives and pick it up. Patty hope you picked up audio
. Chevy thanks for posting the link. All things are difficult with kindle.I posted DS graduation pic. I was happy he wore the hat right. Many of the law grads wore it goofy. Some of the group shots are hilarious.
You will all laugh at mom... I was walking around with the Kindle.... audio was loudest in the new bathroom. Noise/audio was amplified off the tile counter and walls. I set up a chair, coffee pot etc. In the bathroom to listen. Think of the silliness or irony. A benchmark moment in his life that I savored sitting in the bathroom.
Talking with him after was special. I had listened to a man that articulated well. Kept his presence of mind under pressure. Was impressively respectful of the court. And he was happy to hear mom's atta boy. Our kids are always a bit of our wee ones.

loveroflife...I think those will be big enough...lol

Loveroflife- no, someone else in town took that photo. It was on FB this morning. One of the best I have seen because it got the whole panorma, the cloud height, the clouds and that thunderbolt. The skies out here are incredible when it comes to weather.
Just had another T-storm. We will be building the ARK soon. I will have to head north and pick up Chevy......

Ok I won't even ask why there is an enormously gigantic pair of undies in the post above... hmm. Being rather delayed in the tech department, I have happily managed to figure out how to send a dropbox file with photos we took of the Crystal Rhododenderon Garden, in Portland, Oregon - with MAJOR help from DH! I wanted to share these photos since they were so lovely and the baby Canada gosslings and pintailed ducklings to die for CUTE! So here is the link enjoy! A walk through the garden (((Hugs))) to all!

Rose, Thanks for the link. I was going to ask you where it is.

Spookie, hmmm should I listen to the weather?
Rosie is ironic a secure site?... I hate kindle .... how did soapbox become ironic.this is now entering the twilight zone. How did drop box become soap ox. Now soap box is soap ox. It all. Changes after it's typed..Who's the programmer. Must have been on milk. How did.ilk become ilk when milk should have been in it's place.
Someday ...on the same day we should all just post without correcting the auto correct.
Blondie, gonna sound strange sweet pea, I'm happy for you to be on hospice. You have accepted your dx eons ago, but had no support. Sucked big time. You agreed ,all supported you.........the non supportive kids......I'll leave those words for you to say.... let hospice make your life easier. Little goats is an experienced hospice nurse. If you run into any speed bumps, she will know how the things that will help to clear the road.

Sassy- you couldn't see the photos? It's supposed to be secure.. love those gosslings and the little pintailed peeps.. I do not own a Kindle, just a regular computer. The photos were taken with a regular digital camera, transfered onto the computer. Odd that the post of flowers and baby birds would upset you.
