The Queen has paraded home to her garden and her cats. The cats seemed mildly interested for about thirty seconds. The garden? Well, I've got a pile of bulbs to plant.

Hi Jwoo- hope you are doing well. Love that photo!
Made a new dish today called Sweet Potato and Chicken Hash today from a recipe I got out of the Relish Magazine in the local newspaper. It is super tasty and pretty easy to make. Can be a main dish or a side dish. I ate my with a dollop of sour creme. Recipe included in the link for anyone interested!

Wow Jazzy, that looks yummy! I am coming over for dinner. You could live to 100 with the way you are living -eating healthy, keeping yourself hydrated, and doing yoga. I could see you doing this in your 80's

Or this

On second thought, I think you are missing one other key ingredient

Queenie, bummer you had to be hospitalized for a infection. Glad they set you free. Now, stay away from the hospital!! Sending you virtual flowers and cat hugs

Rosie, hope you can find a tutor for DD3 soon...poor kid. Heartbreaking what she said. It's interesting how some people are better in math and some are better in language. My younger Dd is stronger in math and older in language. Did you know that there are excercises to help a person use both side of the brain? My BIL, a retired teacher, would have his students do the excercise before lessons. One example is drawing an infinity symbol with both hands in the air....interesting approach

I am still laughing over that photo..."dance like no one is watching!" That's a shame that expression.. hahaha Queenie YAY for getting sprung! Love your comment about the drip dry at the nurses station. Did you ever get a towel? Hope all this intervention gets you right and well and home. Your cats didn't maul you? Mine follow me around and then land.. When home health comes we shoo the cats out or they would land in the middle of the draining and stick their curious noses in the dressing. ugh.. If I ever get peritonitis it'll be cat related microbes..
Jazzy your dinner looks so yummy! Mags I need to give my bras away. Stopped wearing them years ago and still have a box and forms in the closet. I know our mastectomy place has an area for give aways to folks whose insurance doesn't pay for them. I should do that. I just thought well if I ever changed my mind and wanted to wear them.. not in years. How is it we collect all this stuff! Guess it's not just me.
Hugs to everyone.

Loveroflife- but I don't want to live to be 100! LOL! Doing the best I can to take care of myself and perhaps better than I ever have before. I got a bunch of healthy food at the farmers market today and then stopped at the health food store for the rest. Getting back on track with a better diet after my travels.
Love that photo of the dancing.

Good morning ladies- got a busy week ahead but just wanted to wish everyone here a good week.
Chevy- I love the wild bus picture. Whenever I am in third world-ish countries and on their buses, I always expect this to happen.

haven't been around BCO much the past few weeks as I am trying to recover from my latest surgery and have been feeling very blah! Week four and I still have an open wound but nowhere near as bad as last time.
I just popped in tonight to see if you had clicked over to 1000 pages yet and I see it is a but a whisker away. Such an amazing thread.....full of humour, support, great advice and empathy. Congrats for when that 1000 clicks over. It is a testament to the power of everyone who contributed to those pages.....the power to make a difference in the lives of fellow humans. I have been a quiet observer mostly, but I thank you all for getting me through some tough days during the past six months

Hugs to you all.

Jacfin- good to hear from you and hoping you are feeling better as time goes on from your surgery. It takes me a long time to feel better from such invasive procedures.
We are almost to 1000, stay tuned!
