Thank you Kaymic. My Dad is so healthy and so shocked by what's happened. He wants to know why and I don't know if they can find that out.

HLB, I talked to my dd who is a nurse. She said from the way it sounds that he should make a full recovery. It was certainly caought in time, with what seems like minimal, damage. I am still praying for you and him and the rest of your family. Jesus has this and he will see y'all through!!! God Bless you and your family!

HLB sorry bout your Dad but it seems that everyone did the best things to help him. Getting medical attention as quick as possible is very important my neurologist says the more time you waste the more brain you lose. It may take a few weeks for him to regain full control over his weak side, but it will happen. I speaking from experience I got medical attention within the first hour and have very little residual damage.

HLB - sending positive thoughts for your dad and family. I don't have much experience in that area but it sure sounds like everything worked out the best it possibly could for what could have been a devastating situation. To have this happen when he was surrounded by people that could get him help so quickly is so amazing. Someone was looking after him.

Let us know what the TM number is when you get it.

Macy - Glad I asked about the picture! You can't change it now because it's just too funny. Life's special moments with kids!

Ladies, Thank you SO SO MUCH! Dad is doing great! He feels better than yesterday and is acting like his old self. PT came in and he walked the unit and up and down a flight of stairs with no problem. The arm seems completely back to normal except touching the fingers to the thumb is a teensy bit harder with that hand. So it seems there are practically no residuals at all. I'm so relieved!! They still don't know why it happened so they are going to hook up a holter and see if it might have been atrial fib. They said prob go home Saturday. he wants to go today but I'm glad they are keeping him because of that TPA and the bleeding risk. Thank you so much for the prayers and well wishes. I was really sending healing energy last night. Put my sleepy mask on and really got relaxed and concentrated.

I'm just glad we have some good news on this thread.

HLB, that is great about your Dad's recovery!

Happy Birthday, Macy! Every birthday becomes a real celebration after a cancer dx! Hoping for many, many more.

I had my onc visit yesterday. TMs continue to go down 12-15 points per month. I'm now at 128. Going to keep riding the Femara/Xgeva horse. Will be getting another MRI in a month or so since we found so many different areas of mets. But he's sending me back to the Rad onc because he thinks the two most painful might be able to be radiated and hopefully the pain reduced or eliminated. If so, that would be fantastic. Maybe I will be able to make it for more than 15-30 minutes of shopping.

Happy Birthday Macy, hope tummy is better tomorrow so you can get that mimosa!

HBL - so glad you dad is doing so well and getting to go home.

Christy - nice to hear that you TM number is continuing to go down.

I got some good news about my DGD#1 that had viral meningitis since Nov. 26.  Had to have brain surgery today to relieve the pressure especially around her optic nerve.  Surgery went well and the drain is keeping the pressure down so no more headaches and vomiting.  She can now get some much need rest. So can the rest of the family.  Last couple of days have been very emotional, stressful, and thankful for so many of my sisters here that have been praying for Kendall.  (Details are on my FB page.)

    Restful night for everyone, AJ

Just wondering if anyone is on Aromasin?  I couldn't take the Arimidex because of nausea, but seem to be much better on Aromasin. I read somewhere that Aromasin is steroidal and the other two are not.  Maybe that is why my stomach growls all the time.  Have a nice weekend everyone.  Barb from FL

Update on Kendall - They are in a holding pattern until Monday. They are waiting for a room to be available to move her to from PICU.  The surgery went great and Kendall is doing much better.  They are waiting for the normal flow of fluid in her brain to return.  When that happens she will get to go home, hopefully.  She will be in St. Francis Childrens Hospital in Tulsa, OK for at least a couple more days.  Thank you to everyone here at BCO that has been praying for her and the whole family.  You mean the world to me and I am so thankful for all the prayer, love and support you have shown my family during this time.  AJ
