Slept well last night (finally) and woke up with good energy today so I went to the sunday salsa class at my gym. Really fun and like to shake my thang. There was a hottie in there too. He is probably 20 years younger though. I could be Mrs. Robinson?
Cami- There is an Italian film fest in my city this week. I am going to try to get to something. They actually have some of the film makers here from Italy. I went once years ago to something, pretty cool. Since I am working at home this week, I may get a chance to do some more things in the evening that I never have the time or energy to do.

Jazzy I'm glad u'r working at home, u have so much energy anyway u use some of it for fun. Remember Italians are a crazy bunch, so are their movies. LOL

Jazzy, salsa dancing looks like such fun. Dancing has always been hard for me except the twist. For some reason I did not feel self-conscious when doing the twist ... oh, I could do a mean polka too!

Sally- it took me awhile to work up the courage to do the salsa class. When I went back to exercise last year (recovering from both major abdominal surgery and the breast surgery), I was very careful about what I did. Did weight lifting, abs (carefully) and swimming for a long time. Then I got into doing more walking last summer. I decided in the new year to try salsa and ramp it up another notch. The salsa is a heck of a work out, but fun too! I am tired tonight though, it kicked my butt! There is also a lot of dancing on the toes which is not always easy (my feet get stiff from the anastrazole). But I held my own.
Cami- I grew up in southern CT which is filled with a heavy population of Italians. Most of the kids I grew up with were either waspy like me, Jewish or Italian. Oh how I miss the good Italian food back east! I have been to Italy twice, once on a cruise in 1994 when we stopped to take a trip to Rome and also went to Sicily. Then again in 2009 on a trip to northern Italy, where I spent time in Tuscany for two weeks (Florence, plus many other wonderful cities). I love anything Italian- the food, the fine leather shoes, and the movies too! Oh yes, and the hot Italian men too. I consider myself "quasi-Italian!"
It was a mild day here today, really felt like spring with temps up to 60 plus degrees! I thought there was another winter storm coming, but see nothing on weather.com forecasted for the week. I know, shut about the mild weather already, right?
Hoping everyone has a good week.I hope things go well for you Dwill. I go see the breast surgeon Friday to begin my next 6 month follow up. I had a lot of anxiety about it last week, doing better now.

Ducky- I hope you get a break from the snow. I know the east coast is very fatigued with the storms. We got our first snow here last week in almost two months and were glad to see it. Now it is warm and dry again. We need the snow here for water supply, so we wish for more snow as you wish for it to end. We just need mother nature to redistribute her moisture to us and leave you guys alone!
I have friends and family all over the east coast and they all are saying "enough already!" Stay warm and remember that spring is coming!

Hi hermits- I love working from home. Less stress and more productivity. Plus there are a lot of germs around the client site with the flu, respiratory issues, etc.
I do know Yahoo has had a lot of account thefts. One of my friends in TX has been hacked several times. I think I got hacked on my old netscape AOL account too as I get links from people I know, but it is not from them. UGH!
CC- how nice to join something that donates to a charity you care about. I like that.
