I have had a indentation since early spring, didn't think anything of it. Went for annual, doctor had me get a 3d Mammogram and Ultra Sound, both normal. Sent me to surgeon, she told me if my MRI was totally clear I was okay and this was just from Menopause possibly and just natural changes.  Had my MRI last week and Wednesday they told me it was clear, nothing to report at all.  So I see her again in two weeks to discuss if we will just keep an eye on it. She said if MRI clear she would feel confident.

So I will keep on eye on it and make sure no other changes.

    Hello

I just wanted some feedback on dimpling. In Oct 2017 I noticed an indent in my left breast when I lifted my arm. I was breastfeeding at the time and had an ultrasound that was given the all clear.

In the last 2 weeks I have stopped breastfeeding and noticed this indent looks worse and more lumpy like cellulite.

My Dr wants to wait another 6 weeks until we re scan. I’m thinking I need a second opinion or something done sooner.

I’m very afraid and the thought of cancer and now having a young baby this really shakes me up. I’m terrified.

I do not want to scare you, but a dimple was the only symptom of my cancer.

I didn't wait too long to get it checked out..I think it was 2 months from when I first noticed it, to when I had my mammogram and ultrasound.

Yes, I had cancer but I WAS VERY VERY VERY LUCKY.

    Bless that dimple.

If it hadn't been for the dimple, my cancer might not have been found until it was at a very late stage.

I was Stage 1, no lymph node involvement..which is just about as good as you can get, unless you only have DCIS.

Please do not wait to get this checked out.

Try not to panic too much. I had a unilateral mastectomy in November and am doing very well.

Breast cancer is NOT an automatic death sentence.

    Also, GET A BREAST MRI.

I forgot to add..a mammogram and ultrasound failed to find my SECOND tumor ( I had 2 in my right breast).

I am new to the group. This thread is so relevant and helpful to me. I'm not diagnosed. I'm worried. I feel certain in my gut something isn't right. So far I have had a clean mammogram, an MRI (bi-rad 3) that showed what they thing is an intramammory lymph-node, and blood work that came back fine for a few types of markers. I had a skin biopsy at my derm and it came back as viral.

I have an appt with a breast specialist tomorrow and I have an ultra-sound on Friday so they can get a closer look at the 3mm area of enhancement that is "likely benign."

My symptoms are pain, itching, and a dent. The itching comes and goes but I feel pain in my breast daily. It extends into my armpit. I have what looks like a dent in my left breast. It is in my areola and just above. I feel nothing in my right breast. It feels normal.

My mother is a bc survivor. She had multifocal carcinoma. My great aunt (mom's side) had inflammatory breast cancer.

I will be pushing for a deeper biopsy. I need peace of mind.

I'm so glad to have read this thread.
