PRB:  put your address on the list.  If you do not feel like sending,,that is OK with me.  Everyone needs some holiday cheer, and seeing Ava in her festive outfit will put a smile on your face. I guarantee.   Happy

M:  how is Colin?  And the other Colin?  This is not good that he is not feeling well. He is such a tough guy.

Personally I would prefer to skip gifts with the family,, except for nephew. Nephew needs things to open. I'm cool with that. For the adults,,, I suggested gift cards. Don't think it is going over well.

PRB, Aus fanny update at your request!  I have been waiting for someone to ask.  What has taken you guys so long?

Surprisingly, still pretty bald.  Upper legs growing in (I'm going to do them at the last minute, but V is still surprisingly not growing in.  That gives you an idea of the extent to which I was yanked.  The whole area is in shock!

I think you should still be on the list.  Feeling holiday pressure as well, but trying to channel into organization tactics. XXX

LOL- great update Bobo! Amazing that the landing strip is still pretty smooth...and yes, that does say something about how deep it was yanked.. one big OUCH. Sorry .. but that made me laugh, but thank you for making me smile today.

Yes, let's talk about Bobo's vagina for a while, lol.

Zills, no hanky or panky happening here! I used to get a bladder infection after sex with my first husband Everytime!!! He had Prostatitis and kept re-infecting me. But haven't had that problem with current husband. I like cranberry juice though, so I will pick some up. Docs think my UTI was due to kidney stone.

I get it blasted Dec 2nd....and sure hope it works!

Waving to everyone.....also doing it to keep warm. Lol.

Well glad to see all the updates on things we all wonder about!! so funny, well not really, agree bobo, what a yank! ouch!

Anybody on Medicare here? I just called them to inquire about how many foobs and bras are allowed once I am on Medicare (January), OMG what a ditz I got!! you should have heard her, I was so pissed by the time I got off the phone, and then it kinda made me laugh how anyone working as an answering agent could be so bloody stupid!! I also asked about it they covered genetic counseling or testing and she asked if that was a mammogram! said no, she said a pet scan!! she did not know what a mastectomy was and when I informed her... light bulb went on.. oh ya! then the pronouncation was horrible, I corrected her many times to no avail. At beginning of call a recording said would you take a survey after the call, said ok, so stayed on line for survey, never happened, boy I was wishing they would have come on that line I was ready to blast them!! So anyone?? how many, how often, ? I kinda think I have heard 1 silicone every 2 years and not sure on bras..geez for frustrating but wait... that is government run right.. enough said. I hate incompentant employees!!

What about where you were originally fitted? The place I went to seemed very knowledgeable. I bet they are well versed in what Medicare does or doesn't cover.

Agree -- my place would help with that. They called my insurance and never allowed me to do anything. Do you have a place like that, ND?

Andrea! I have to watch you every minute! You are always humble-bragging about your pretty vagina. 'My vagina is so delicate-boned -- I have trouble gaining weight in my vagina.' 'My vagina is so pretty, I don't know if I can do the Christmas card list.' 'My vagina is so pretty and small, I never get bladder infections anymore' -- OMG! Those of us with big (and maybe freezing hairless) vaginas are so jealous! I have to watch you every minute!

Laughing because M is happy that we are not talking about her sexcapades at the moment. I am seriously going to send Andrea's tiny vagina her own holiday card. Who will join me? Hoping DH picks up the mail that day :)

ND, I'm on Medicare. It pays for a new silicone every 2 years and 2 new bras every 6 mos. I'm eligible for a new foob but don't know what I want. Tru Life has a new one that's gradually being rolled out. Everyone is raving about it. If it's lighter than my Amoena, I'll get it. My bra strap crosses the muscle in my back that spasms and just makes it worse. I can wear the Geni bras but the foob is a little heavy and hard to keep at the same latitude. I agree with you about government idiots on the phones. How do they keep their jobs? Here there's a senior rights assistance group SHIBA which has workers to discuss your medicare options with you. One comes to the senior center and he seems very knowledgable and nice to boot.

Thanks Wren! that is more bras than I thought they would allow. Bobo, yes I could have called my shop where i got my products but was just so disgusted that they have somebody that doesnt even know what a mastectomy is!!! well hope the idiot gal never has to experience this shit, she ticked me off but wouldnt wish this on anyone.

Wren, meant to say I got an Amoena Natura and it seems much lighter silicone than my others, yep same with me on Genie bras, nice and comfy but not enough support for my natural one. I really dont like the light weight one because they ride up too far for me. I think Ariom also has a Natura, think I have seen where she likes it too. That muscle spasm where the strap is sounds miserable. Thanks for you help again.

it might be different if you have a supplement or Advantage Plan. If you don't, it's open enrollment now, check them out! I have Humana Gold Plus, been fairly happy with it, and it's free

No prickles? D@mn. Need to get them to do my chin and underarms. My Walmart is always out of the tweezers I like, when I remember to look. Must be an epidemic here.

Tweezers for chin. I still shave my underarms but don't tell my PT. Tried laser before my dx but can't tell a difference.

My place doesn't file ins for sleeves. Called ins co. Not much better response. Didn't know what I was talking about so said there was no limit. Would be nice to get two since I'm paid up for the year and have lost one.

Hi Ladies, oh my goodness me, back to VJJ's again, Bobo, I hope yours is not doing what my eyebrows did! One plucking and that was it, never grew back again!!! LOL

Hi ndgirl, I do have a Natura and I like the weight of that one, but my fave, that I wear most of the time is the TruLife 611 lightly weighted form, it's foam and I really like how it feels. I bought a couple of Amoena athletic tops that come with a sports bra to wear with them, from the same place we bought the pyjamas. They are so incredibly comfortable, I am wearing them a lot now, with the foam form. It feels like I am not wearing anything at all.

I understand what you mean, about the operators on the phone who know nothing, when you are calling for information. It was like that when United made all our jobs redundant. They outsourced the work and a 32 young people were hired to take over the 18 positions that we had held. They went in cold and for years after, I still had emails from the passengers that I used to look after asking me to book their travel, because they couldn't get it done right, by the new staff. It was sad really, we had built up such a rapport with those passengers over the years and then they just had to put up with kids who didn't have any idea.

Your Medicare is similar, but better than ours. We get a new form, every 2 years, but no bras:( I think there is a new Amoena coming too. I am having a fitting at the end of January for my 2 year anniversary, so I am looking forward to see what's new too.

Ariom, just saw on another thread that a new foob called Sublime (I think this is the name) from Trulife is coming or is out. sounded interesting and comfy, the site said you could use it with regular bras or mx bras. Not sure just where to get them around here, but cant have another anyway... I am going to have to quit buying them anyway.. running out of room to store them. I have that 611 also, like it but still a little on the light side for me.

Sorry to hear that both Colins arent well. does Colin 1 have feeling and pain of the stone, only reason i ask is friend lost a kidney because she could not feel it... told her she is totally weird! She had a little spotting but no pain. Hoping things get better for him soon.

ndgirl, that is my problem too! I have had a stone growing for the past year and now it is 10mm big and still growing. urologist said same thing to me: I could lose a kidney if it gets too big. Seems strange when I haven't had much pain...just a constant gnawing. Just hoping the blasting works for me and I don't end up worse...especially since I will be going to Canada for Xmas. I sure don't need to see any doctors up there. Medical care is free ifyou are a Canadian resident...not so much if you are visiting!!

ndgirl, I just went online and had a look at the Sublime, it is really new. It said ready to ship Nov 2014, so I doubt it is here yet. We don't get a lot other than Amoena here, but I would love to see this one, I like the sound of it.

Andrea, I really feel for you with this stone. Colin is supposed to have a 9mm stone on the side where they put in the stent and lots of others in both kidneys. He is having pain from it, because he has the soaring and plummeting blood pressure, sweats and shakes. That is how his body manifests pain. I hope you get this sorted quickly. I hate that Colin has to wait, for this stent to stretch everything. M x

Thanks M, but Colin has it much worse than I do. I have a constant gnawing pain, and it does feel like it is getting stronger lately. But others have much moresevere pain with stones.

NDGirl I retired from a school district, and had to keep that insurance till I hit 65. Yes, it was good insurance, but cost me $600 a month, just for ME!!

It is open enrollment for the Medicare plans now. I'm sure your TV and papers are full of ads for it. Blue Cross? Kaiser? Aetna?Cigna? If you have to pay for his retiree insurance, check into what else is out there. It adds up to a large amount of &&$. I don't pay for mine. DH has a different plan, and gets about &100 back per month, in his SS check. Really

Bobo, the Urologist confirmed that the pain is from the large stone in my kidney. My mom had one of her stones blasted and it did the trick. I hope I am that fortunate too. Especially since we are leaving the country for two weeks at Xmas. Procedure is booked for Dec 2 @ 2:00 p.m.. I wonder when the last time I can drink water is before surgery. I think it is about 8 hours. Anyone know

Usually it is 8 hours, but they will tell you. Sometimes they let you drink plain water cuz they don't want you to be dehydrated.

Holiday cards are ordered!!!  FYI,,, Walgreens has 50% off right now,,,use coupon code everyitem50.

I did watch! So good! I will not win lip gloss. I believe Z did not get to watch, it is not fair.

EKU, UK. Either one would have lost. I'll pay up.

Trigger finger? Does it come on out of the blue? Maybe I jammed it in my sleep? Wonder if bar of soap in bed for muscle cramps help that. Seemed to help boys growing pains. Going to try that for my charley horses. Can't hurt. Better than tonic water.

BG pooped on the potty. A big one! Not tiny squeeze something out to get candy. Wasn't even excited. But got excited for ice cream. Had to up the ante:)

No whales at our aquarium. It's tiny, all indoors, on the river.

    Hooray for BG!!!!

Trigger finger related to tamox? Or did you sleep on your hand? DLLP and I both have cricks in neck; have not tried soap.

Today: get kids ready, yoga, mall, Santa, Christmas pictures. Burgers and ffries. Home, chores, make sweet potato casserole and pumpkin pie while child rearing and make dinner (and clean house for tomorrow).
