Oh, Wren, that's so sad. So sorry to hear that.

Bobo, next time you have free time in morning, you must come visit Ava. She will kiss you and sit on your lap.

    Hi Daisy!

So sorry Wren, that is way too young. Kitties will miss her along with youself.. Life can sure wham us when we least expect it.

Aww Bobo, sending some big hugs to you, wish I could do something for you, only thing is I am always here on boards to care, listen, cry, scream, anything you want! Daisylover has some good advice.

    Wren, you posted while I was posting - missed it. I am so sorry for your loss. It's so difficult to make sense of these losses... {{{hugs}}}

Glennie, Hi to you as well! I am guessing that Ava is a small pup :) My dog is 50lbs and would still like to sit on your lap. He's very well-mannered, but if I invite him onto the bed, he scooches over until he's practically on my lap. Wish he were a little smaller... 8 below zero tomorrow here - my lucky daughter Kate is in Hollywood, Florida - She went swimming today... Hope it's warm where you live.

    Aww Bobo... it will be ok, just takes a bit of time.. I have days I don't feel like myself either.. and I'm 2 years out.. I think we all get those days and with everything you've been through, it's going to take some time.. {{{{HUGS}}}}

Oh Wren, that is so sad.. so damn young. I too know about vet bills, have had my share of those bombshells over the years. Bad Goldie!! leave poor Squeakers alone :(

Daisy, I am not looking forward to tomorrow.. they are closing schools down already.... this has been a sh1tful week weatherwise... we've been spoiled until now.

hahaha, Daisy,,,  Ava is not small pup!  You jest!  She is over 70 lbs, but loves it when you sit on the couch, then she lays next to you and puts her head in your lap.

Ahhhh, Glennie, Ava does not look so large in the picture? Is that Ava? I love a dog's head on my lap. There is something very comforting about a dog's intentional touch. Ava is quite cute (if that is Ava). My Max is tall and kind of lanky - lots of thick fur. His legs are spindly.

    image

That's Max with my 2 lanky kids (squatting kate 6'1" nick 6'4") See the family resemblance? I just realized that I bought a wig last week that looks a lot like Max...

Beautiful kids, Daisy,,, all 3 of them.   And yes, that is Ava. She is a stocky girl,, has the body of an English Bulldog. Very chesty with short legs. The only dog I've ever had who couldn't jump. she has to climb on things.

Spookie never learned how to jump UP either. She has steps. She will fly OFF anything. I'm afraid she will break a leg

Lovely kids, furry and not! That is very tall. My dad was 6'5"....but alas His daughters were under 5'7". Not fair I say!! My dad is still going strong at nearly 87 years, but he has shrunk. He actually has an extra vertebrae...not sure how common that is in very tall people.

was chuckling at thought if Ava being a small girl. Perhaps compared to Reggie. Lol. He is mad I out away her picture btw. I guess I need to being him on my road trip and let them meet each other. Think he's already in love.

Sorry wren. Thing suck so much if the time.

Hey bobo, when is your next surgery? Wait, aren't you done now? That's totally effin cool. No more sx. Just sexy famous nippies coming your way and long lazy days by the pool in your high heels and long cigarette holder. The 3rd week is always the hardest in all things. Don't know why, but I have found it to be statistically true. These are the kind of thins my 1000 mph mind analyzes. Go give bobodog a big hug and then take a shower and slather all that new perrixone on. It will feel good. Unless it burns your face off.

Hi girls, so sorry, I have been reading and managed to post on the other thread, but I have gotten mixed up between the two threads again. Been really busy and have people calling in all day and the heat has been exhausting. Probably won't get caught up properly till Bec goes home.

We are dropping Dex at the kennels on the way to my appointment tomorrow, so we can have a whole day of shopping and lunch. We will pick him up on the way home, after he has played all day with the other dogs and John the owner will have taken him on a big walk.

    So sorry I can't answer individually.... M x

    in the bag m

    That's tall daisy.

    Love all those pix.

What do schools do in nd with below freezing temps? Schools closed today. Kids didn't sleep in, didn't sleep in their beds all night and neither in pjs! And no my house isn't that warm.

I'd say the weather change and full moon aren't helping bobo. Wish you could get a Starbucks. Are you eating and drinking enough? You can wear anything you want. You are tall, thin and now flat chested like those haute couture models. Rock it!

BG has discovered scissors. So far it's paper and tortillas, which Sasafire stole and then carried it around. I guess she was waiting to get into trouble.

DP, is that really true about the third week of everything?

Yes, all done with sx. Going in to work. Office hours today. Teaching for six hours tomorrow! Yikes.

Agree about the 3rd week.  I was supposed to go back to work at the 3 week mark post MX,, and called to get another week. I wasn't ready.   Bobo:  will you have long weekend for MLK day?   **hoping so***

Z:  love Sassfass running away with tortillas and BG learning scissors!  Don't know how they sleep in cold with no PJ's.

    In the bag, M!

**waving to all**    Ava has vet appt at 10

Good point about long weekend.  I was just thinking you would not be teaching. Have they seen the Penguins of Madagascar movie?  It's really cute. Something to do on a cold day.  ((hugs))

Zills, if we closed schools every time it was below zero we wouldnt have school much in 3 months!! There has been some delayed starts, like 2 hours late. I just called gs in WI and gave him crap about being whimps there because no school yesterday, told him school was on here and our ND kids were probably walking to it!! He wasnt complaining about no school though! Pretty much only cancel it if blizzard is coming.

DP, is Frisco TX close to you? Our football team NDSU Bison are playing there for a 4-peat championship! Go Bison.

So funny M, you're sweltering and most of us are freezing our arses off... I get confused all the time, I probably should just read one thread at a time and respond before moving on. Enjoy your day in town.. in the bag for your appt.

DP, I agree with 3rd week too now that I think about it.

Love the scissor story too :)

Bobo, You can do it. You have done far harder things in the past year. Order dinner and just crash when you come home.

Zills, Beware of the haircut. It seems to follow fairly soon after the discovery of scissors. I did mine in 2nd grade when I was home with measles.
