happy bday boy!
Bobo how can you be a size 0 and tell me that you are a Large? I knew you were sandbagging. No fair, today was supposed to be about you. Once you figure out your sizes you can be an online shopper. Such good stuff. You should go check out ThredUp.com amazing prices on all the brands we know. Probably the stores you visited today, so you should know sizing. I mean it, like just a few dollars per item a lot of times. They have kid stuff too. I got a load of things on mega clearance from shophq last night. Didn't need thembut the prices were too good to miss. Since I am rearranging my life now anyway- I need more casual clothes and am selling off all the professional stuff.
Well I really just popped in over here to check on your day bobo. Hope you got a good dinner tonight and that your feet are propped up somewhere. Waving ladies!

Poor Lucky. Woke up again bright and early to the sound of him howling when he poops. Thankfully by the front door where there is no carpet. Took him out late last night and he howled then too. He is on stool softeners,so he isnt straining, but still painful. It breaks my heart to hear him. The rest of the time he seems fine. Eats and sleeps like normal. He needs a $500 ultrasound to find out if growth has penetrated colon yet.cant afford it, and it wont change things anyway. Not sure how to handle the daily mess and more importantly his pain.
Edited to add: another incident already this morning. That makes 3 in less than 9 hours.

Going to be a very long day with all the shenanigans last night. Everyone needs a nap and it's only 8:30!
Poor Lucky. Is he on wet food too? I don't know how you clean it up without hurling. Would he use a pee pad?
How's Ava?
I love the look of maxi skirts. Have some on clearance. I think they would go with lesbian shoes.
Of course bobo is tiny. She just had all the fat sucked out including her poor va jay jay. I hate clothes shopping. Hopefully you did get a feel for sizes and can score some stuff online and on clearance!

Well I cant complain I am tired. Just sleeping in between episodes with Lucky.
Right now he goes by the door, poor thing. But if he starts going on the carpet I will be in trouble (rental). I stuffed kleenexes up my nose and a bucket of Mr Clean close by to help with the smell. We had changed his diet to soft/canned food as per Vet instructions last week because of his previous bunging up. That, along with softerners has made his poop like melted chocolate (sorry for the graphic ). Either way he is is pain. Not sure how to proceed. But I need to shave his fur otherwise I have to keep bathing him...too cold for that.
Sorry, I know this isnt a Vet forum. I just havent dealt with this before. I appreciate everyone's input. Thank you.
And BTW Trixie is jealous of Bobo's skinny VaJayJay too.

DP if your bicep is big, just try concentrating on that area. Stroke and pat it at the same time. My PT used to do that once and awhile. Just be sure to clear out your chest area first so that the fluid has somewhere to go. I used to be able to feel the fluid moving at the back of my throat. Weird feeling.
Z - have you thought about putting a small mattress on the floor for BG? It's not really the answer you want, but you and DH might get more sleep. Had to laugh about BG sleeping sideways. I had the opposite problem. DD would snuggle up right beside me.. to the point that I would be at the edge of the bed, laying on my side, ready to fall out... and the rest of the bed empty.
I am happy to say that the only debt I have is my small house. That could change at any moment since I am still house shopping and driving myself crazy over it. Decided maybe I should rent a place in dd's school district and looked at a duplex last week. Asked the guy if he would like to sell it. Stupid me.. why yes he is! Am waiting for him to give me his price, but the more I think about it, the more I think this is not the right move. Lots of updating to be done in it, and while the extra income from the other tenant would be a big bonus, I don't think I'm ready to plop all that money down for the down payment and then extra money for the renovations...oh and also get my house ready to rent/sell which is even more $$ and did I mention DD needs braces? That's a lot of moola. But maybe the biggest factor to not do this....and you will all laugh at me.. is that there are high voltage power lines not too far from this place, and that frightens me. Do I want the cells in my body.. which have shown an affection for cancer, to be dancing around ready to mutate due to the high magnetics produced by these power lines? No, I do not.
We are officially having a heat wave. 24 degrees and feels like 15. Last week was brutally cold, and winter seems like it's been here forever when we've only had snow for a week!

We bought this duplex 30 years ago. It's been a blessing and curse. My parents lived in the apt a few years when they didn't want to fool with house upkeep. Then DD moved over there when she got married. Then we had a string of really crappy tenants. And we had to bite the bullet and upgrade the bath and kitchen.
But remember that any work done on the apt is a tax deduction. A new roof, or outside paint, yard maintenance , 50% off your taxes.
Plus, the rent should just about cover the mortgage payment. Ours does, and the electric bill too

Poor Lucky. I feel so bad for him. Would he use pee pads to poop on and save the carpet? Spread newspapers or pee pads around the place? Give him options. Confine him at night in non-carpeted areas? I hate that he has this pain. If you have u/s and it has penetrated the colon, then what can you do? Surgery? Would that fix it? I would want to know all the options. If nothing can be done,, then sadly, you have to think about what to do next.Ava is feeling fairly perky today. We walked all the way to the bike path for the first time since coming home. And as I posted on the other thread: I got a card from the kennel owner, apologizing for what happened and she returned my check. Still no excuses for what happened, but glad to get apology and my check back.
PRB: I am with you about the power lines. I got a thing about that too. Keep looking. You will find the right place.
**waving to all**

hopefully some heads will roll at the kennel. But that was not good for Ava. Poor Lucky! That's gotta hurt

Gave Lucky some pumpkin to stop the runs. Lets see if that helps.

Glennie, I don't think returned check is enough -- heads should roll. Still seething over how they treated our innocent girl.
Andrea -- Lucky is worrying me so much! I hate to hear he is suffering! Poor baby! I do that pumpkin trick too. Hope it works. Are they going to fix him? Oh, I hate to hear of him in pain!
You should be jealous of my vagina, Andrea. It is noticeably thinner. Did the PS mean to shape my vagina? Or did he just accidentally suck fat out of my vagina? I shudder to ponder these questions.
PRB, agree about the utility lines, and do not think it is silly at all.
Happy birthday Boy! Good boy, sleeping until 6:30! Z, agree about BG going to her own bed. We can't have you exhausted. Easier said than done. I, like Idesim, would gladly take her for the weekend while you got some sleep! Both of them, actually. I miss them and I haven't met them yet.
Okay, now, all of you have just got to stop it. I am NOT a size zero. I am six feet tall, for one thing. My upper body is an eight, and my lower body is a ten. I think a 30 is like a ten, that's for pants. But, as I was saying with Z by text, I never wear pants. Why try on jeans? I never wear jeans. Or pants. Or 'slacks.' No pants! I should wear leggings and a shirt, no pants, like Elaine Strich.
No pants!

(Cross posting here as you all probably can help me.) Today is my BMX anniversary and my SIL called and told me the doctors found a very suspicious cluster in her right boob. How ironic can things get? This is SIL who has been my advocate and been there for me every step of the way for the past 19 months! She didn't want to tell me as she didn't want to upset me, but even though she lives in NY, she is having a hell of a time as her dicktors are not being helpful at all!
SIL was told that she needs a biopsy. I can't remember the name of it-even though I had the same one-with the machine and the ultrasound? I think it starts with an S? (Damn chemo brain!) She is allergic to lidocane. What else can be used to numb the area? How does she go about finding Someone who will give her something else to numb the area. I think her dicktors send patients to a radiology office for the procedure- which is just telling her too bad! She is not getting any help and I can't imagine having this done without a numbing agent.
If ya'll have any suggestions, please let me know. As always, you guys are the best!

I had my biopsies at the same place that does mammograms. I've had bad reactions to lidocaine in the past. I told them that and they used something else. No problems. Plenty numb and no reactions.

S -- stereotactic wire biopsy? I have had one of those as well.
Thinking of you and your SIL! X

Thanks Jennie93!
Yes, Bobo, that is the name of it! You would think I could remember something so simple! Please keep me updated on Wedding. Date? Etc! I love weddings
0 -
Well, lean on me as your biopsy expert! I have had all the biopsies.
Wedding details on DP's thread -- maybe a dumb flat question. We all post over there as well, because we are silly

Bobo-Last I saw was you were going to pm everyone with info. Just didn't want to be left off the list. Didn't want to post SIL's plight on DP's thread and figured everyone would check over here as well. I guess it is easier to just post on one. Lord knows I haven't been posting too much lately, but reading all day! Lol hope you aren't getting whatever is going around! S

Hey S! What I PMed people was a screenshot of my dress. Let me know if you want one! Understand about the posting on DP's thread. X

I have had a couple of Stereotactic Vacuum Assist biopsies Sgc, I am pretty sure there are a number of alternative numbing agents, she just has to be sure to let them know of the allergy to Lidocaine.
0 -
Oh S -- Don't forget the most important thing for a stereotactic wire biopsy... Ativan!
0 -
Bobo, I don't think they are the same thing are they? A stereotactic is a core biopsy. The wire guided is a surgical excision. I haven't ever had a wire guided one, but I am sure the numbing, is the same for all of them. Sgc is worried about the allergy to the numbing agent for the biopsy.
Just read back and saw Jennie had posted about another numbing agent, so hopefully Sgc can pass on info to SIL.
Happy Belated Birthday to the boy Z, I am sorry I didn't remember on the day! I hope all went well!

M-they know about her allergy. That's the problem, they don't want to give her anything else! I think she might have found someone in NYC. It is the Baldwin cancer center. Hopefully they can get it all sorted out.
Bobo-So I have been told! I never got a darn thing for anxiety!
Tried Femara and once again the side effects were so bad I had to stop. One more left to try. Oh well, it is what it is!
Hope everyone is hanging in there. Glad you have had an extended visit with Bec, m. Sorry about the freezer. Hope Colin gets some relief soon. Hope you catch a break, Bobo. I hate to think of you with the flu! I wish we were closer so I could give you a well deserved day off!
0 -
Sgc, that's ridiculous! How can a place that does these procedures only have one option for numbing? There are people who are sensitive or allergic to anything and everything, there are alternatives. I sure hope the other place is able to help her, as if she needs crap like this going on, when she needs the testing done.

Bobo and I are opposites about taking something before a procedure, Bobo likes Ativan. I like to be wide awake and ready to strike, if there is a problem. Don't have the faintest idea what I'd actually do, but need to have all my faculties, honed, just in case. LOL

M, you need to be alert in case you have to do the Dance of the Humpy Back Spider.

My eldest Daughter (30) just let me know she is having an ultrasound and mammogram next week for some lumps. Doc thinks they are just cysts, but with my history they want to be sure. She is worried. I told her to worry when there is reason to. She is an RN and married mother of two. Do you know what is worse than having cancer? Having your child have cancer!
But I will take my own advice, and worry when I need to.

(((Andrea)))) We are in the bag for DD!!0 -
M-I think things are done very strangely where my SIL lives. Probably a cost cutting measure! I am a total control freak and would direct my own surgery if I could! I wasn't offered any anti anxiety meds and tried to watch it all. The numbing agent didn't do squat and I have since found out that several members of my family have a problem with quickly absorbing novacane and other numbing drugs. I Now know why the spinal block didn't work when I gave birth to my youngest! Lol
This is proving to be a shitful week! My brother's knee surgery was cancelled due to a blood clot in his leg, SIL has BC worry, i am back on Fosamax as my osteoporosis is bad and I go to the neurologist on Friday. Heck at this rate he'll probably tell me I have God knows what! Lol when it rains, it pours...except we are having freezing rain! At least I don't have to drive in it!

Oh gosh, Andrea and SGC, I hope both of them are false alarms. Keep us posted.

Oh Andrea, in the bag for DD! I know how hard the wait is. You can say you are not worried, as I did when my DD had a suspicious lump, however you can't fool us! Sending positive vibes, hugs, and puppy kisses!

"Got your back!" (Yes, they are sleeping like that!)
