I am fortunate! The closest Target is an hour and a half away from me! No Tim Tams for me. DD2 heard Target is closing in Canada. Can this be true? S

Yes, it's true. Every Target in Canada. Over 17 thousand to loose their jobs. Target said they couldn't turn a profit till 2021, so was closing all

M, you are so cruel! When I was in Aus, I think I did eat an entire package, or close to. I will treat myself to Target Tim Tams after two weeks of being good, so a week to go.

So glad that Colin is feeling better!!!!

I hadn't hadn't heard about Canadian Target, what a shame.. all those lost jobs :(

    Poor Canadians.

M, you will have to ship our Idesim some Tim Tams. What are you, made of stone? :)

Bobo, ldesim can buy them in the local Target, I am just giving her my theory about eating them all in one day and not spreading them out.

I believe she wants the real ones from AUS.

Hooray John Wayne! Yiddyup! You are feeling better!

Oh no. Now he is probably going to build an airplane and fly it to the moon or something.

lol, no doubt he's thought about it!

Bobo is correct, I do not think the Target Tim Tams will be as good as the Aussie ones... but we'll see.

I just googled it, so it must be true! They are the same TimTams, it is just Pepperidge Farm, is importing them.

Hang about, Z says they are Arnold's, is that right? Ours are Arnott's, is this a Tim Tam imposter?

My mom called from Canada to tell me about Target closing. We were supposed to get one in my hometown, but it didn't happen. The problem seemed to be that when Canadians came down to USA the prices were cheap. Not so with Canadian Targets.
Oh well. They have just about all the American stores up there that we have down here. Anything more expensive than Walmart or Old Navy won't make it. The skinflints! Lol.

I wonder if the Tim Tams are the same.  M,,, perhaps you should send some just in case!

Edit: and you are right,, I am not 13 YO Asian girl.  I am short old woman.

m - leave foobs at home. Stuff bra pocket with timtams. Problem solved.

PRB and so it begins the teenage years. Doesn't sound like too bad of a row. How was the cake received? I had a small pang of jealous reminiscing. . When a trip to the mall was a fun outing instead of a PITA worthy if cursing the entire way through. Ahhhh to be young.

Geeesh, DP, where were you? I was getting worried about you! Are yo still receiving parcels?

Oh my giddy aunt! TimTams in a bra, what a mess that would be.

sorry to worry everyone. Just posted a book on other thread. I wasn't feeling well. Should have texted.

Yea for the stealth cake. Yea for trolling the mall. I agree with dp. It's a pita now, even without kids. Must be getting old.

Dog growled twice at boy last night. Story goes he was collecting the trash from his room and she was on the bed. I'll see what he says this am. I was out to dinner and just got a text.

We had a big walk. I don't know what to do. She seems to be growling more. How do I find her a new home? I signed a contract at the shelter saying I would turn her back in. I hate to do that but must protect my children. Dog class starts on Tuesday.

    Alert!

Timtams slam for breakfast. Heaven! Get the caramel ones for that. Have to go back and see if any are left.

And I wish I had brought home some of that cake for breakfast. White cake with whipped frosting... so delicious. I get the same kind every year and I've had kids say "oh just give me a little piece" ...and then they come back for another. I've had kids asking where I got the cake even. A's mom offered for me to take the ice cream home last night...but not the cake! As nice as it has been to not organize some kind of birthday outing, I kind of miss it too. Damn, forgot to take a picture last night.

Z - bummer about the dog. Maybe the trainer will have some ideas. I am not a dog person, but I will ask DD when she gets home. She has watched every episode of that British lady who comes into people's homes and fixes their dog problems. DD thinks she's an expert even though she does not have a dog. Since the break in, I have been thinking of letting her have one...hate the thought of cleaning up dog poop though. I guess there are companies that do that now.

DP - so glad to see you! The responsibility of keeping us informed must be heavy on your shoulders. :) I agree with Zills, when you feel that bad you need to go to the E.R. You're in the midst of chemo, you've had fluid retention before - don't second guess yourself until you can't move. I understand though, it's a hard decision.. when is being sick, sick enough to go to the E.R.?

Round trip flights to Vegas are pretty cheap for me. Around $300. Not from my local airport, but we have a bus company that takes people to the major airport for $50. I am fearful of flying..but I do have some X now, so maybe that would help. I don't think I could lose 50 lbs in 2 months though. Is Bobo going? Maybe I won't look so fat if the size zero isn't there! j/k Bobo! Of course you will have to come to Vegas to show off your fabulous body and nips. As DP said, we should probably give this trip to you as a wedding present. You know.. I just saw that someone at work started a 'caring' fund page for their adoption. I dunno.. he makes a decent wage, they have 2 incomes, a big house ... and they're asking for donations? Kind of rubs me the wrong way.

I have to say, PRB, although I am sure it caused you some sad feelings and pain -- and I am so sorry for those, truly -- I am reading the birthday cake surprise story with great interest, and even with glee. DD! She is such a tiny badass! The cake sounds delicious! I am pretending that this will not be me in 3.5 years!

Will now go to other thread and see what's going on with DP. Z, is Sassafire okay? Is she sick, maybe?

    z. Question the kids carefully as to what THEY are doing when dog growls. Staring in her eyes, hands raised as if to hit, food or toys around? Please don't automaticaly blame the dog. Could be the kids.

    Morning Ladies!

Z, I love the caramel ones too! Sounds like Sasafire may be territorial, about boy's bed in that instance.

PRB, the cake must have been fabulous if the Hostess kept it and offered the ice cream back! What a shame you forgot a picture, that's what I do. I talk so much, I forget to do the obvious! lol

Cool here today, was going to bath Dex, but too chilly this morning. Must go into town and buy the refill for the freezer that I lost, when the door was left open. M x

I wasn't home. Story goes she was on our bed and boy came in to get the trash. Supposedly she tried to nip him. I don't know. DH was home and is saying she needs a new home.

I have seen her growl at the kids, especially BG but most of the time it's deserved. That being said. I hate always being afraid the worst will happen. I don't trust her with the kids.

I didn't take on a dog lightly but I'm not willing to be fearful. Class does start back Tuesday night. I'm hoping the trainer will have some advice. She's a sweet dog but I'm afraid my two are too much.

I don't know much about dogs, so really can't comment. How attached to her are the kids?

I think I tried the caramel, and the dark chocolate and maybe a double something? Original was my favorite... still have held off getting any :)

Patriots game is on... something about the noise of football always makes me so sleepy.
