Idesim, that happened to me as well!  Hate that.

Have peppermint on in preparation for Granwe's office visit tomorrow.  Working now -- will fill in details on proposal tomorrow.  She said yes, though :)

Morning Girls, just have  a moment. The girls and I have laughed till we were almost sick. They brought enough food to feed us all for a week, and we stayed up last night reminiscing.

Colin was a bit bewildered, he hadn't a clue what was sending us into uncontrolable hysterics, but he was thrilled that we were having so much fun.

I will try to get back later. I am going to savour every minute of this visit. Today is the tour of Paynesville for Jan. She's never been here before.

Can't wait to hear about the proposal!

    Take care all.......Mx    P.S I'm  60!!!!!!!!

Omigosh.. Happy 60th Birthday!!!  Darn, I don't think I realized your birthday was so close... I thought  a couple of months off!!!  I'm glad the girls are there to celebrate with you.. I bet your having a wild time and I bet Dex is getting so much attention with all the women fawning over him.  Poor Colin though..he's surrounded by a bunch of crazy ladies :)  I picture you exactly how Granwe described.. floating about the manor hahah.. I love that.

Bobogirl.. she said yes... congratulations!!! woohooo!!! :)

Wren & Zils I am so glad you are finally getting sun.. The sun better shine for Granwe tomorrow.   I'm all set and ready to go... Teal is one of my favorite colors.. I shall dress to match... we're not leaving until all the questions are answered.

Granwe, I am sickened by the fireworks accident and the fact that his family was right there.. horrifying.  Joe is a firebug, which I may have mentioned before and for years, he used to light off fireworks with a few other guys in a school parking lot and I used to be so sick to my stomach worrying over them getting hurt that I never once enjoyed it.

We are so incredibly busy at work and with a lot of staff on vacation.. I will be earning my paycheck and then some this week coming.

Hmm... regarding B%$ch slapping people... will that bring on LE or not?? We need to clarify that soon.

No basements???  Where do you store all your unused junk that you refuse to throw out??

I'm going to rest up for our big trip tomorrow!  *hugs*

Hi Gals! I am so far behind in reading posts.. hope I dont miss any! It has been a busy several days for me. We worked outside July 4th instead of celebrating and I think I overdid it .. was so tired and headachy I was sick. I need to learn to scale back a bit I guess but i never was used to that! Anyway our son and family did get to come home for a day.. and Sat. was the big parade.. over 300 entries! We took the oldest grandaughter with us in the '57 Chevy and she had a blast throwing candies and freeze pops along the parade route! It has been hot here too!

Wren, good for you marching in a parade! Good work! how do you get along taking arimidex?

Ariom, Happy 60th! enjoy your friends and Bec! fresh seafood, I am so envious! wow, I did not realize that le could flare up at anytime.. my Mom suffered so much with it.. just awful. But I am not going to dwell on it either.

Bobo.. so excited for you! I love romance too, cant wait to hear details!

Zills, putting you on the top of my prayer list, hope you feel better soon. you are amazing to deal with the blues, feeling pukey, and being a great mom all at the same time! I had a friend taking chemo and she was so hot too, asked me to hold her hand just to feel how warm she was!

Gramwe, good luck with appt. and keep up the good fight with insurance etc. they make me so disgusted,, always want their premiums but pretty darn slow when it is their turn to pay.

Idesim,  hope you arent overdoing it like I do and chuckling over the basement comment! I always wanted a basement and when we moved in this house finally got one, now not so sure! full of junk! A few years back we were flooded in this area and we got water in basement so I did get rid of alot of junk that I didnt think I could live without!

Well on a brighter note.. I ordered a swim suit top from JoDee and it sure didnt take long to get here and guess what?? it fits and I love it! higher cut neck and arm holes, but very pretty! I dont have a swim boob yet tho, but at least i can enjoy myself in the sun at the pool! I had to swim skirt and shorts in black so only had to buy the top, it wasnt cheap but so glad I like it that it is worth the $50!

Good nite, hope I can sleep! wishing everyone a great day tomorrow.

Bobogirl, must you always bring beer along and if you do, can you please spill it on somebody else besides me for a change??!!? F that!  Hope you like peppermint beer because I spiked it.. yep I did!

NDgirl, I'm going to have to check them out.. I only need top as well.  Somebody, I forget who.. maybe it was Wren.. mentioned making a swimming foob out of a shower poof, which I thought was the greatest idea ever.  I too do not know when to stop.. I always push it until I feel discomfort of some sort.. I tick myself off lol.

Quiet today.. hope everybody is doing well... I bet Moira is laughing all of her fannies off still :)

I'm the queen of laundry today. Kids had water play at school so more laundry tomorrow. It never ends! Stomach slowly getting better.

Trying to find the best deal on diapers. The boxes I bought before surgery are almost out and I received a postcard about a sale. Just in time!

Granwe we'll be with you tomorrow!

    I can't help it!  I love beer!  :)

Granwe, standing by to hear about  your appointment.  And how is your daughter?  She sounds so sweet.  So sorry about the morning sickness.  She sure is a hard-working girl; she takes after her mama!

Agree with G and I -- Ariom, I can just see you floating around with your GFs!  I am sure no one deserves it more.  I am so glad you are having a wonderful birthday!  And Z, how is your stomach?  Nd, so happy about your bathing suit top -- so sorry you overdid it at the parade!  Better than overdoing it with housework, I think... :)

Knitted knockers update!  Finished with Z's knockers -- just have to stuff them -- and starting on the 2nd granwe knocker!  PLEASE NOTE AGAIN:  These will not be as good as any of the knockers in the foobmoire..

Promise will give a full proposal update, but I am up to my neck at work(s)... big meetings tomorrow, Thursday, and Friday.  About to move over to university job -- that one will be a triple appointment -- therefore, right now I have six jobs.

6 jobs and knitting knockers!! whew! what a gal you are! and planning wedding on top of all this work, but hey that is the fun part! Dont "knock" yourself out on the knockers! Stay well.

Yes bet Ariom is having a blast! I just got a call from my dear friend that was the best English teacher any student could have and we are heading to spend the weekend with her and her hubby... he is a nut and just what we need to have some real belly laughs and not take ourselves to serious! looking forward to this weekend!

It would be very hard to replicate the foobmoire knockers.. How much fun is it to type knockers and read it outloud? There is something about the word that appeals to me.

I don't understand what is meant by a triple appointment... what does this mean?

Ndgirl, I hope your entire weekend is one neverending belly laugh.. have a safe trip!  Hope the weather is great for you.

Zils, glad you are feeling a little better, how are the energy levels?

Had a late day today and am finally starting to get tired so off to bed I go.  Hope everybody is having a great evening and for Moira, another day filled with laughter and great friends.

I am back, I have tried to sneak a peek a few times, just to try to keep up with you all.

The girls have gone, but I had the most wonderful time with them. They didn't want to go, and are already making arrangements to come again, with their husbands. I have beeen friends with one of these girls for 43 years, and the other for 35 years. They are both still married to the same husbands, but they are both still friends with both my ex husbands, as I am. Strange I know, but life is too short to hold grudges, and neither one particularly hurt me, so it isn't hard to stay friends.

I have to tell you of the wonderful gift the girls gave me. I collect antique glass and crystal necklaces. They bought me a gorgeous faceted clear crystal strand, and a beautiful distressed timber jewel box. The lid of the box is glass and takes a photo. They had "selfie" photo that one took yesterday, of the three of us, had it blown up and put it into the glass frame of the box, with the necklace. I love it so much, I can't stop looking at it.

I am up for the appointment with Gramwe, can I just sit far away from the beer? I have eaten so much this past couple of days, I think the smell of beer could just tip me over the edge into a barf episode!

Bobo, I worry about you taking on so much extra work, 6 jobs? How do you keep it straight?

But I love that you are making foobs for the girls, and planning a wedding too. You are just a whirling dervish!

Gramwe, I am there, in the pocket, away from the beer!

I feel for your daughter. Morning sickness was the absolute pits. I had to keep crackers beside the bed to nibble before my feet hit the floor, and I have no idea why they call it morning sicknss, other than, it starts in the morning, and can go on all day.

Zills, my lovely! I snuck on last night to see if you'd made your usual late night, for me, post, but no, you weren't there. I hope you are feeling OK, and I hope you find those diapers on sale.

NDGirl, I am so sorry you felt the effects of overdoing it. I sure is easy to do. Are you on top of it yet?

At least it disn't ruin your time with your family. That parade with your GD must have been fun.

Let's just take care, but not over stress about F'ing LE. I refuse to give it any power over me! What do you say?

ldesim, you're a cracker! Yep, I have been laughing my fannies off. Lots of running for the bathrooms too. We have all laughed so much we were afraid of a peeing accident.

The girls were so impressed by the FoobMoire, and were suitably impressed by the foobs. They loved the "Contact", and although they had never seen or touched these before they handled it very well. They even wanted to see my scar, and couldn't believe how it has almost disappeared, and what it looks like. We decided I have an androgenous side, and a female side, and I have to go dressed as the Half Woman, Half Man to the next fancy dress party we hear of. I don't know if this country town is ready for that! But we went down in a hysterical heap designing the costume! LOL

    I hope I haven't forgotten anyone!

Thank you so much for the Birthday Greetings, I sure don't feel 60, whatever that is!

Looking forward to hearing how everyone is doing.....Love to you all! M x

I'm here. It's way too early. My DH has been working late and I've had the kids. We were both hoping to sleep in this morning since I have a 9:30 Jin Shin appt.

But no boy ran a fever last night and is awake at 5 am! She just woke up. Hoping she'll fall back asleep.

I'm going to have to put something in my stomach too. It's a little better every day. I feel pretty good. Expect to feel even better after JS.

Have two visitors coming today. Need to make sure I nap as soon as I get home. I haven't seen one for years. We used to be neighbors. She's stopping by after training so I hope it's not too late.

Ariom. Can't wait to see pix of that costume! You need a quiet day to catch up with yourself but laughter is the best medicine!

Hello Zills! So great to see you.

You are up early, I wasn't expecting to see you for at least an hour.

I hope the boy hasn't got anything contagious and that the baby dozes off again so you can have a little me time, before the day takes off.

I am so pleased to hear you've got friends coming to visit. I can recommend it! Have a snooze if you can and then enjoy the company.

I don't know if I'll ever do that costume, but it was a really funny conversation working it out with the girls throwing in their ideas.

I can't believe how quiet it is, now that they're gone, but it won't be long till Bec is here and there will be lots of laughter and late nights again.

Take care Zills, and have a lovely day. I am so glad you are feeling better......M x

Happy Birthday Moira! Sounds like you had a wonderful visit with your friends. A few hours of hysterical laughter is good for body an soul. Added plus it burns calories so don't worry about over eating either. I don't think you can pull off the costume, you are too much of a girly girl to be part man. ; )

Zills, so so so happy that your tummy is feeling better everyday. Hope your JS appointment makes an even bigger difference. DD and my grand dogs stayed with us Monday night. The weasel was in charge of having the house electricity transfer into their name, he made such a mess of that simple process that the electricity was turned OFF. One good thing came out of that comedy of errors, she had moms cooking. She ate like a little pig, without any problems. Of course now she wants me to cook for her everyday.

Idesim, hope you had a restful evening, and awaken this morning feeling great.

Bobo, slow your roll. Just thinking about all the balls you have in the air exhausts me. SIX jobs? Sheessh. Are you eating? Sleeping?

Thanks for coming with me yesterday, sorry I kept you in my purse for so long. OG tried to walk slowly and not swing you around too much.

Labs are suppose to be posted on my online chart before I get home, so far they haven't shown up. Mo wants to try FFemara for 6 more weeks to see if the SE lessen. He did tell me if I decided to stop it was okay we would try another one. Next I have to see my GP for a heart monitor. I've been feeling my heart flutter, or race at different times. The MO always takes my blood pressure sitting and then standing. Sitting was normal, standing it dropped to 66/40. The next 2 times standing it wouldn't register at all, then it shot up to 148/94. He isn't sure what's going on with that. The foob appointment resulted in another delay. My foobs were too small so we are waiting on bigger ones to come in, probably 2 more weeks. The OG ended up with a new torture device on his hand. Hopefully he can tolerate the pain and it will help.

OG is up. Time to feed the beast.

    Hugs

Gramwe, been waiting for a post on your appts. sorry about the heart issues, but sure sounds like your drs are on top of things. just wonder if it is a se of your meds? wow, the weasel cant even take care of simple things?? But so glad to hear your daughter got to eat mom's cooking! I remember how sick I was with my 2nd son, finally went on some meds which worked like a miracle, but now taken off  market because of bad se, I have always wondered and of course felt a bit guilty because at age of 12 son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Never have heard that could be a se but as a mom I always wished I had stuck it out and not taken the drug, but in the 70's none of this was known. Well it is what it is... seems like that has become my mantra lately! Take care and hope all tests come back the best!! Thinking of you! and all our little group here!

    Good Morning my lovelies!

I managed to read quickly and then move past this morning, Rites, and shower etc, then a quick trip to the BIG Opp shop. I got a few things, but I have to say the wedding shopping is not going well. It is not like the city here, where kids wear a designer outfit once and it ends up at the Opp Shop. I am not giving up though! You never know what might pop up!

Gramwe, so sorry to hear about the racing heart and the flutters. I had similar and did the overnight monitor thing, and they discovered that I had an extra beat. Fortunately no detrimental effects.

OMG! the Foobs were too small, I am sorry, that must be such a let down when you were ready to accept them! I hope they put a rush on the right ones. O Well there are a pair of "DD's" at BOBO's place!

OOOOOh that weasel makes me mad, how bloody hard is it to organise the utilities? Hopefully your Daughter will see these failings and kick him to where he belongs.

I was wondering how the OG was getting on with his hand. I am wondering if he is in the contraption they put me in for my hand surgery. It was like a medieval torture device, and brought small children to tears more than once, not because I hit them with it, just from looking at it!

Please give him my regards. I spent 5 long months in mine.

Bec has heard that her ex is getting married, so I expect our visit may be a rehash of that awful relationship, I sure hope not, because he was not one of my favorite humans. He doesn't deserve any more of Bec's time either.

Take care, and hugs to you...M x

    Ndgirl, how are you doing?

I did the exact same thing. I took Polaramine, for the morning sickness, then when Bec was Dx with Asthma at 11 months I blamed myself for not coping with the sickness on my own. I beat myself up for that for such a long time. The reality is, it likely wasn't the reason for either of our childrens medical conditions.

I feel for the women who had the Thalidomide babies. They must have gone through hell for that. Who knew?

You've got your fun weekend coming haven't you? I hope you have the same kind of fun I had. I can still feel the muscles in my sides from the laughing. We sure didn't take ourselves too seriously! At one point, one of the girls was tippy toeing around a foob question, so I pulled it out and threw it to her. That really broke the ice, and they could joke about it. They knew I wasn't going to be "precious", but they just didn't really know how far they could take it. I think I mentioned in a previous post that they wanted to see the scar and they had a good look through the FoobMoire too! It was all good!

Have a ball, and let us know how it goes! Hugs to you....M x

There's a lot going on in your world. Please take some time out for you. It will all settle down soon when you've finished the move, but till then.....Take care of you, Miss Bobo!!!!

I have finished the last load of washing, and the house is all back together again, ready for the next visit.

Gramwe, Horrible thought. Is the weasel weasely enough to get everything in his name and kick her out? I know someone that happend to.

ndgirl, just ran across your question about arimidex. I'm doing ok on it. No SE for the first year, then several but mild versions, now no SE again. I do take the claritin religiously.

Ariom, your visit sounds like loads of fun. What a great way to celebrate a birthday.

Hi Wren, was wondering where you were.

We had a group of tiny wrens in the garden for a couple of days, at least we think they are wrens. They are just gorgeous as the flit about. They have a call that almost tinkles it is so sweet. The male is a dashing looking bloke with a beautiful black edged waistcoat on and a bright blue bottom!

You're right, it was the best way to spend a birthday. My 50th was a contrast to this one with 70 people. I spent the night trying to be sure I spoke to everyone, and was exhausted at the end of it. This was far better!

I hope all is well in your world.....Hugs... M x

Good morning everyone or goodnight Ariom.

One visitor didn't come. She wasn't feeling too good. My long last neighbor came for a short visit. The baby loved her! She lives about 8 hours away so it may be next year before we get together again. It was so could to see her.

We got awful news late yesterday. A friend had a riding accident and passed away. Her husband found her and he's a vet. I can't imagine what he's going thru. I know you never know when your time is up and she was doing something she loved. I hope I am that lucky but I want to live a long time and watch my children grow up. I'm also afraid to attend the funeral or visitation as I don't want undue attention towards me with my appearance and take away from her service. I'm wearing a mask in public now and I'm sure it will be packed. She was much loved. F! Cancer!!!!

The boy broke out again last night so I'm going to have to dismantle his room today. I hear the baby so I better get crackin.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Hi Zills, you're up early again!

I am so pleased you had a good visit from your old neighbor, and that the baby loved her. It's awful when someone comes and the children don't take a shine to them.

What a terrible tragic accident. You're so right, we hear of such things and it really makes you wonder, no one ever knows when their time is up.

It would be such a shame for you to miss the funeral of your friend, but it has to be your call. That's so sweet of you to consider those possibilities, and the feelings of the family, but I believe your attendance would be much appreciated by the family of your friend, and your mutual friends. They wouldn't want you to stay away.

I am not understanding about the boy breaking out........do you mean he gets out of the house at night?

I hope you have a good day Zills...... I'll call back later to see how it's been.....M x

That makes me laugh. No he doesn't break out of the house. Though he was fascinated with opening his windows and drug the stepladder around the back of the house to look in earlier in the year. He kept dumping his toys out. But would say he just left them on the ledge and they fell out by themselves. He didn't do it.

I don't know if he's got bug bites or hives. I don't think it's bug bites because the marks go away by morning. It's at 10 o'clock at night when he's come to us saying he's itchy. If it's something he's eaten, I would think it would happen earlier and be all over his body. It's the nape of his neck and wrists and knees.

I washed his bedding after the first time on Monday. Last night was the second time. He slept in his bed both Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday he had a fever and went straight to sleep. No playing. I gave him Tylenol last night so he felt good and was playing. I'm guessing its something in his room so need to wipe down walls and floors. I don't know what else to do.

His room hasn't been properly swept in awhile but it wasn't bad. I didn't find anything scary or what would look like it could break him out. I washed the walls and floor around his bed and changed the filter in the air purifier just in case. I wore a mask too. Took about 20-30 minutes. Was very tired and shaky afterwards. Hope the claw doesn't show up tonight. Will definitely nap and maybe do another round of stretches to prevent it. Wonder if a bath would help.

Oh Zills, how funny. When you said "broke out" and you had to dismantle his room, I thought you meant he was climbing on something to get out the window!

Take it easy Zills, don't overdo it. Don't invoke the "Claw!" A bath may just do the trick for you.

The boy may just have a heat rash, that manifests when he is overheated in bed. What a nuisance though. I hate these kinds of mysteries. Is his room very warm?

I hope you get to the bottom of it Zills...take care, and please don't overdo it...Hugs! M x

Oh, Z!  I am so sorry about your friend!  Are you feeling up to going to the funeral?  A tiny bit worried about you.  I know I don't feel up to scrubbing down floors and walls right now.. I don't know how you do it!  You are a superhero!

Waiting for Granwe's results... waiting... come on stupid online chart!  Poor OG's hand.  Granwe, what did you make your daughter for supper!  Cannot believe that weasel

Ariom, laughing at your story of throwing the foob at your friends!  They seem like the nicest friends ever.  What will you do when Bec starts talking about her ex?  You are so sweet, and solicitous, I wonder if you will change the subject with cunning?  Or cut right to the chase?  I know it is only a matter of time before I am in your exact same position with our baby!

I hope you don't worry about the wedding Op shopping.  Perhaps you are aiming too high with your designer wear-once idea about a perfect taffeta dress!  Laughing... I'll be there are many many perfectly nice ones!  But, should you not be having a good time, I hope you are going to let me know immediately!  I am only in this wedding planning for the pleasure.  The 'marriage' part is for the rights.  Federal rights!

You are all right.  Not eating much -- watermelon is my one true friend.  Off my feed since the FFFF biopsy and never got it back.  I do get things down, but don't really sit for a meal.

Nd, I am sure there is no link between your morning sickness meds and your son's diabetes.  I hope you are not too hard on yourself.  Wren!  So good to hear from you.  I think if I ever see you I will be startled that you are not an actual wren!  When I'm reading your posts I am picturing a little birdy.  :)

And where is our Idesim?  Haven't had a coffee table update in ages.  I know we are both swamped at work.  You guys would not believe the meeting I just went to.  I promise two updates:  proposal and the princess' upcoming Feminist Rock and Roll Camp!!!  XXXX

I shouldn't complain, I hate when its slow at work, so I should be happy that I am so busy and I am in a way.. but this particular week this henous woman I have to work with is on vacation and I just wanted to enjoy the week without her.. but I haven't really been able to because we are so damn busy.   It's actually very good that we are so busy, because that means the economy is doing much better as the reason I am so busy is people are buying homes!

Moira is back!  I'm so glad you had such a good time with your friends it must have been sad seeing them gone, although I imagine Colin might be slightly relieved!!!  I don't think it strange at all that you are friends with your ex and what a wonderful thing to have two such longtime friends.  Your necklace sounds beautiful and your jewelry box sounds wonderful... I love distressed timber.

omg.. I love the costume idea! I don't think I'd ever have the nerve to do it, but what a fantastic idea and how much fun it would be to plan it.

Good news for you that Bec's ex is getting married, now you don't have to worry about the rekindling of a relationship... and she will only want to discuss it for a short period and then she'll have closure.

Granwe, sorry you're stuck with the F Femara for a few more weeks... hopefully things will settle down with that.  I'm glad that regardless, they will be able to seek another option for you. this is all such a pain in the rear.  Also sorry to hear about your mini foobs!! Like Moira said, Bobo has a pair of DD's for you lol.

Poor OG, I hope to hell he isn't in the contraption long and if he has to be, that it will do some good... he must be so frustrated.

Keeping my fingers crossed on your results... and shaking my head over the weasel.
