It's Dear Lesbian Life Partner (because she is not DH)..

Well, not planning the wedding at the moment.  Although I should be.  Working instead.  Moving next weekend!  It's going to be a totally simple City Hall wedding.  Still, I've got to make some phone calls...

It's true.  Perhaps I should not have scheduled this wedding on top of everything else.  However... doing it for the rights.  Rights are really good when you have small children :)

Ariom can tell you that while she, the beautiful (and I know she has dark moments, as we all do!), floats around her house in the most gorgeous yoga ensembles, and scarves made into halter dresses (how?), and while she charms the mailman senseless until he brings her homemade pickles (or jam -- forgot.  Olives?), and while she has the most beautiful (now portable!  Traveling) 'foobmoire,' I, the dark and highly-strung scrappy and unenfranchised, am putting punk stripes in my hair (that nobody notices, sometimes) and asking myself 'But is it punk?' before purchasing anything.

By the way, I was really loving those sweet entreaties from Z and Ariom, in which they both described little meals solely for the purpose of tempting me.  That is simply the sweetest.  I could really use that kind of thing too.  I ask DLLP to do that all the time, but she's not that good at it.  Her cooking repertoire is not vast (sound familiar, idesim?) :)

Z, how was the stupid eye exam?

Loving how our new GrammaB manages to swear by putting in numbers.  he11.  f0ck. sh1tba11s.  It's working!

We all had the same question GrammaB.

Bobo. I think it's the heat and 24 hour princess and all your juggling acts plus the move. You've got a lot to look forward too. Eat some ice cream tonight. You'll feel better.

I need Granwe to do her fermera act. My doc works 2 days a week. Called on Monday. He said on Tuesday I needed a scope this week. Fax machine broken yesterday and still no call today for appt. Will be next week before I can see him and get the results. I don't want to skip chemo but don't think I can cope with A/R plus all the other SEs. Not sure if its healthy go into chemo not feeling strong. Maybe I need ice cream too. It's been a bad day.

How long is Bec staying? Hope you all have some decent weather.

DH is having leftovers. Everyone else cold stuff. It's too hot. Small shower right now. Not enough to break the humidity but its a start.

Eye exam made me nauseous. Imagine that. Will have to go back and order glasses. Had to go home and take a nap.

Seriously considering the antidepressant that I got at last appt. Was afraid of SEs but don't like my current dumps. Wondering if he's going to change my chemo regime and this will help with new SEs. There's a blog (yea!) about the same concerns and it seems to be ok. I know my sister likes it so it should be good for me too.

    Raining again!

Honestly, I could just cry.. I went back to page 33 and started responding.. had about 4 paragraphs and I dropped the mouse and the browser shut down.

I think I am going to give up on ever catching up :(

Zills, I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling so well, you just can't seem to catch a break... have a double dose of ice cream if you feel up to it.  Do we need to be slapping the sh1t out of some doctor? (Bobogirl, you're right.. GrammaB's number swearing works a charm!)  Do they know that you are friends with the baddest punk@ass b1itch on the East Coast who wears snakes and spikes on her wrist and struts around in overly expensive bad@ass black jeans and has a major attitude problem from not having a decent meal in a month????? ;)

Bobogirl, I am LMAO at your description of Moira floating about the house (palace?) in gorgeous yoga ensembles.. and YES I am dying over the scarves turned into halter/cocktail dresses that she effortlessly throws  on :)  Thank you so much I needed that laugh.

I am posting this b1tch before I lose it and go postal.

That was me with the sofa pushed up against the wall, it worked perfectly.. it's still like that cuz I now enjoy watching tv this way lol.  And yes GrammaB, don't go crazy buying stuff unless you do so for the sole purpose of keeping busy.. you will not use half of what you will buy!  Go for the recliner though if you had already planned on getting one.

Moira how the heck did you sleep on your stomach/side with drains? I too am a face planter and it was torturous sleeping on my back.. I don't think I would have been able to sleep in the recliner.. the couch worked because I could kind of tilt into the couch and it was a bit more tolerable.

This is funny.. I too do not drive... I can drive if I had to, but I never got my license.  I have to do it because my mother is getting older.. etc. etc.  It never was necessary  to drive, Joe and I do practically everything together, including shopping and I work in downtown Boston and would never drive there, the subway is a 15 min ride and much cheaper than parking would be.

Bobogirl, how does your situation work.. does the cutlet get put in the cup of your ugly contraption bra, like against your breast and I SO KNOW what you mean these bras are just way too big and they are ugly.. it's just not fair I am too young for this shit and you are even younger... and yes the irony of a maternity cami... I am glad you didn't hurt the woman.   I feel for you there.. as having had similar experiences in that dept.

you don't have to be upbeat for us.. you situation is very similar to our uniboober situations which all adds up to this being a major pain in the arse on a daily basis.  Today I looked in the mirror while washing my hands in the ladies room and my right foob was a good inch and a half higher than my natural left boob. Who know how friggin long I went about that way.. I started to feel mortified then I was like.. wtf.. everybody I work with knows what I had done.  But I do find myself holding a folder or holding my pocketbook strap over my right side when outside.. it just sucks.

Pasta salad was on the coffee table.. F pasta salad and heat waves.. i am sick of both of them.

GrammaB, be careful!!! You will turn into a shopaholic if you let the wicked Ariom lead you astray.. before you know it the UPS guy will be knocking on your door hourly.  I take it your mind is made up about BMX now?  I still kick myself in the butt for not going that route, I really think I should have and just gone flat.  Warning, you will need almost a whole new wardrobe... your measure of what a low cut top is will change drastically once you try on clothes after surgery  and I was pretty conservative.. at work I didn't have any cleavage showing at all, I thought it tacky.  I'd wear a camisole underneath at the slightest hint of cleavage showing.

I think once Bec leaves, we need to pursuade Ariom to write up a chart off foob/cami parings for various occasions and types of clothing.

    Posting.

Bobogirl, I didn't know you were Jewish.

Granwe, what was for breakfast?? Breakfast foods are my favorite foods, but breakfast itself I hate.  I have been good the past week and make myself shakes.  Bananas/cinnamon/low fat milk/peanut butter & blueberries.

I talk it by disgusting card, you mean Bec brought you a dirty card!  Do tell! lol. I'm so glad you two have each other!!

OMG Ariom, I just read about your... 50?????? items LOLOL!!!! I busted out laughing over your confession.  You are a trip!! I am trying to hold off shopping until I get fitted for something, but seriously, why do I have to wait until Oct?? That just doesn't seem fair.

Well, I had hoped to catch up more and I probably should give up even trying, I have to at least read GrammaB's posts so I can get her history :)

Going to read for an hour and hit the sack.. another long day tomorrow.. work is not letting up at all.  Sweet dreams to my US sisters ... and a beautiful day to you Moira, Bec, Colin & Dex :)

Oh OK, thanks bobogirl for the translation. My DD has a DLLP too. :) I never would have pictured you as punk, that's cool.

Zills sorry about the eye exam. Wish it was raining here! Just too d@#n hot here.

LOL Idesim, I've belonged to some forums where any type of swearing was frowned upon, we all learned our way around it in our own ways!  The recliner is the only expensive thing I'm going to buy since the cami is covered. The other stuff is like neosporin, wipes, neck pillow, stuff like that.

I'm pretty good at reinging in the spending I will still have my share of the bills to cover so no big splurges yet.  But I will bookmark those lovely lingerie sites!

I saw an article about Talia yesterday.  So sad.

G'day from ass end of the world!!! (Bec here, Ariom's daughter)

Where mum is, is actually a fraction higher up in the state (when looking at the map), than where I'm from, so I'm really, really at the bottom!

Thank you all for your kind words and comments. Mum was reading them to me while I straightened my hair in the bathroom. It was overwhelmingly nice to know that so many of mum's online friends knew I was coming to visit. Gosh! what else has she told you about me??

We went op shopping today and i scored a lovely set of Green glass (very 70's) tumblers.

I am always on the hunt for kitsch stuff, circa 1960's/70's and even 80's stuff. My apartment is full of ecclectic stuff and i like things that come with 'stories'.

I am a self confessed OCD sufferer, so although ecclectic, everything has it's place too.

I have become obsessed with stud earrings after I overcame my fear of having my ears peirced (after a bad experience as a teenager getting them done). I have started investing (er..rather spending) my money on ebay buying lots of spiked earrings and such, Bobo you can probably relate to that...I like punk stuff too :) My other obsession is Tegan and Sara, twin sisters in a band from Canada. I just saw them in May, sensational night! and marks the 5th time I have seen them live.

This visit albeit short, is a nice relaxing one as the last time I was here, was just after mum had her surgery. I loved being mum's carer, but it was exhausting! Not the the house work or odd jobs, but constantly having to run around after her to make sure she wasn't over doing it. I was literally chasing after her wherever she went and if i didn't keep an eye on her, she would be starting to unload the trolley at the supermarket after sending me off to get something else. Sprint down to the bread section and then sprint back to the check out to get there before she started unloading the cart. My brain was fried at the end of the day from having forward think everything. Like if I say, I'm going to do some washing, she would insist on doing it and if I didn't jump up and start getting it organised, she was already in there loading it into the machine.
But, I do love coming here and mum's house lends itself to all the seasons. I always think the rooms should be featured in magazine spreads, like for instance if you are reading a magazine and they have some tip about creating more space in your loungeroom or turning one room into two without needing a full wall of plaster, mum's place would be fitting for both of those. In saying that, it really feels comfortable. She laughs when you say it's like a palace because there is nothing regal about it. It's big smooshy couches, warm rugs and lots of natural light. It's got a really good feel about it, like anyone who comes feels like it's been somewhere they have been coming to for years.

I'm so stoked that mum has made friends with all of you. She is always telling me stories, sometimes sad, mostly happy, but always positive and uplifting about all of you. I can't believe how much you all have in common aside from the obvious :)

Thanks again for the lovely welcome, i was touched by your interest and wish you all the very best

    Cheers Bec

Hello everyone, what a lovely surprise for Bec to have all your well wishes. She was really touched!

I have read everything, but doubt I can answer everything. I've got lots to do. Visitors tonight, and shopping in town tomorrow morning.

As you can see by the photo above, Bec is a joker. She was happy to put up that silly picture, she never fails to break me up. She was at Taco Bill, and you have to wear the hat if you order the drink. She said she was "legless" after it!

We are like chalk and cheese in many ways, but always have a great laugh when we are together.

I am hoping to have a picture of the "FoobMoire" to show you. Bec is a whizz at the computer. She tried to show me how to upload the pics and post them, but I just can't get it! She tried to take some shots, but the sun is going down and shining in the window of the dressing room, so she couldn't get a good enough shot, maybe later. I soooo, want to show you:)

Although I am rushing off, I am thinking of you all.

Zills and Gramwe, I am hoping you both feel better and have a good rest.

GrammaB, I am so glad you persisted with the insurance. If a BMX, Bec thought you wanted a bike!, is what you want to do then that's what you should be able to do.

Bobo, don't think about the filet/cutlet too much. It is just there if you want to use it, it isn't mandatory that you wear it. There will be times when it is useful. Why have they used a yuck bra? There are many attractive bras in the Amoena range they could have utilised. We will look at that another time.

ldesim, ndgirl, I will have to catch up later..take care..sorry I have to run...M x

So glad you and Bec are up to no good! Have a wonderful visit!

Granwe. Lemon bars for breakfast? Yuck. My DH would go for it. He loves lemon curd. Maybe I should pick some up. Glad someone is waiting on you for a change. Hope you are staying cool while they figure out what's going on.

Gavisvon worked last night! And the baby only fussed a little at 5 am so everyone got a good nights sleep.

The office better call with my appt! Going to try and get DS school stuff organized in case I do get chemo next week. It's amazing how quickly constant stomach issues can bring me down.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for your appointment, lots happening for you...stay cool M x

I'm sad, I can't see the pic Bec posted. He11 fire nothing works correctly in this house, just need to try grammab new way of cursing. Wonder what looks I'm going to get when I spout off "what the he eleven."

OG will be at home for the next 30 days, the surgeon would not release him to work. In his words the next 30 days his full time job is therapy. So the hamster wheel continues to turn.. I see the cardiolgist bright and early tomorrow.

Hes up, my turn to make breakfast and then I'm mowing the grass. I will try to come back.

    Hugs

Just a quick one before bed. ldesim, the card from Bec wasn't a dirty one, it was an old hag with silver white hair and the words "Age, it's all in the attitude!" Thankfully the words inside were her own and really nice.

Hopefully I will have a pic of the FoobMoire to show you!

Hopefully my two boxes rom the US address will arrive tomorrow. I have a feeling there are going to be more than the 50 items I reported. There have been sales on at Marika for a while now, and I haven't had a delivery in a while.

Guests have just left. Bec had fun, it was the daughter of one of Colin's attendant carers, and has just moved back here this week. She will be working at the Nursing Home where Colin's Mother is living. Bec has offered to help her with the unpacking at her new apartment tomorrow night.

I am off to bed now. Had a late night last night, so I am tired...take care M x

Good Luck with the cardiologist tomorrow, have you done the monitor? did I miss that?

Ariom, LOL, when I first googled BMX about all that came up was bikes!! I added the word breast and got what I was looking for...  It sounds like you two are having a wonderful time together!  Enjoy every moment of it!!

Zills, glad to hear you got some relief, and a decent night's sleep.  Hope you get your appointment soon.

Oh, lemon bars, how I loved them and would eat for breakfast if I could.  Sadly they are off my menu since the diabetes dx.  I'm still searching for a low carb/high fat work around for them!

I am going recliner shopping today.  I need to do something outside, well outside the house anyway.  I do need to mow the lawns but no way that is happening in this heat!!  I have to be careful in the sun because I have had little skin thingies frozen off.  Don't need any of those issues that is for sure!!

Wish me luck in finding a recliner!!

    Have a great day everyone!

Hi everyone.. boy I am behind in reading all posts, but so much fun catching up! my DH had an early morning dr. appts and lab work done this am and they came out good!! even his A1C test for diabetes is now within normal range, only worry now is the sore back he has had for a few weeks, they xrayed and we should know tomorrow what it is, just hope and pray nothing serious!! our luck hasnt been running the greatest lately!

Gramwe.. I love that we are the rockers!! so fitting isnt it? love the humor. 30 days of therapy? whew, wish you both luck.

GrammaB.. glad you can have the surgery you wish and insurance covers,, by the way, love the new swearing!!

Bobo,, please no rocks in my knitted knockersCool, that is too funny! you had some good thoughts on post surgery advice, I ordered 2 amoena cami's that held the drains because the gal said ins. allowed 2 nice to have one to weat and one to launder, but wish I only had ordered 1 because I have heard that they are counted as bras and I talked to ins. lady and she said they would allow a "reasonable" amount of bras,, not sure what that is tho, she said 12 would be too many!!Dang.

Zills.. hope things are better and you get some rest and that these appts get lined up for you.. I am not patient and want things done! now! hope the anti depressant works if you try it.

Ariom and Bec.. oh I love the picture! thanks and wish you a pleasant visit! bet Bec never thought she would have an Aunt from North Dakota!! you know when we travel people used to find out we were from nd and ask about snow and indians.. now with the recent oil boom they want to know if we have oil on our land!! my how things change! guess $$ does talk!

Idesim.. I am with you on being behind in reading posts, hope you had a good nite's rest and dont work too hard!! But speaking of work I better get to the office!

No rocks, coming up!  I'll make sure yours has no rocks in it.  :)

Ever since we've been favored with the arrival of GrammaB to our little group I just want to swear a blue streak.  Sh1tballs!  My favorite is when our Idesim types bad*ss, but then she goes ahead and puts the 'a' in.  bad@ass.

Well, I've got to get a little more punk.  As soon as this move is over, I am on it.  Right now I'm a little overextended.  Granted, I'm seeing the hairdresser in early August, and I'll have to start working on Bride Hair of some kind.  Not punk hair.  Plus have fancy-ish new job.  But I can be punk in other places.  Thrilling to hear from Bec!  I loved seeing the picture.  Also, I really like the sound of those 70's glasses.

I love the Bec story of running after our A whilst Bec was the carer!  Hilarious.  Bet Bec had an excellent night's sleep each of those nights.  Nd, I am 'feeling' your story about the camis -- it's so true.  BTW, I had my 'pick up the foob cutlet and ugly bras' appt this morning (with our Princess -- we rode the elevator up and down six times).  There she sat in the dressing room, eating a large fresh fruit salad from Starbucks, cool as a cuke, whilst I, sweating bullets, wrestled myself in and out of contraptions.  I had hives on my scalp from the stress of it.  The dimwits who run the shop (in flipflops) have to re-order two things they got wrong.  But, overall, successful.  I really need that chicken cutlet. It really does make my bra fit properly.  When you look at the cutlet you can really see  how much volume I've lost.  It's just a big empty bag in there.  Delicious.  Can't wait to have them both off.

Not this year, however -- unless they find something else at the appts I have every eight to twelve weeks -- because I don't want to interrupt my new job.  Plus, as everyone here knows, I'm not going to have one of the hee-haw double MXs they give around here -- I'm going to have a 'destination BMX' in NJ.

GrammaB, your DD has a DLLP too?  Hope you will send pictures.  You are obviously a Gramma -- hope to hear more.  And how is the recliner?

Z, I might cast a vote for trying the anti-depressant if you are not too opposed.  If you are opposed, I'd support that. But you've got a lot on your plate.  Anyone would be stressed out in your situation.  I worry a little about Effexor.  But there are others with minimal SEs..

Bec, loved the description of your mom's house.  I can picture it perfectly.  Will have to check out Teegan and Sara.  Which album should we start with?

What's on the coffee table?  F pasta salad, indeed.  Gagging.

Good Morning all, well I have managed to get up before the arrival of Colin's morning carer, and Bec is still asleep. I have locked Dex in the bedroom with Colin, so i have a little quiet before the day begins.

I hope the heat isn't getting to you. It has been reported that we've had the warmest days in July since records began here. Very nice, but today it is grey again, supposed to rain too.

Well Miss Bobo, I am glad the fitting wasn't all bad, and the filet will come in handy at times. I would have done the elevator thing too:) Our Princess has a lovely disposition. I can just see you stressing, Bobo as she sits calmly eating fruitsalad.

I will ask about the Tegan and Sara album.

nd girl, we did speak of North Dakota yesterday. It has been a bit of a geography lesson for both of us, working out where everyone is situated. We are both so amazed at the similarities in us all, and how we all managed to settle in this one post. We decided it was just serendipity.

"A reasonable number of bras", that would be a dangerous statement for the insurance to say to me, knowing my track record!:) Reasonable, in who's estimation? How long is a piece of string? LOL

Barbara, I hope you find a lovely comfy chair that will become your favourite, even after all this stuff.

I hear you about having "thingies" burnt off. It is a national pastime here in Oz.

I hope you had a successful day shopping, and enjoyed getting out of the house for a while.

ldesim, I must explain my theory on the 50+ items from Marika. If I can buy a pair of yoga pants that were, and still sell for $50.00 on the site for $10.00 each, and Tops that were $40.00 for $5.50, would it not be remiss of me not to buy in bulk? Since this is my favourite "swanning around" attire, is it not good financial sense to splurge? I am clutching at straws here! It's all their fault, at Marika, they keep sending me emails with another 10% off. They have found my "sweet spot" and it is anything, with a discount. I am so dreading their Final Final sale email, when everything becomes 70% off the already discounted clearance price, and I can't, won't, stop myself. Maybe I'll take a stall at our market and sell Marika, making back all the money I have spent, now there's an idea!

I hope you aren't overdoing things in the heat. I meant to ask, why do you have to wait till October? The Rads, perhaps?

Well, my quiet time is over. Girl arrived and Dex has acted like he hasn't seen her for months. He is such a flirt, makes them all think they are his favourite. He has Barry the post man wrapped around his paw too. I get the Olives and Colin gets the Chilli, but Dex is the drawcard. No matter how busy Barry the post delivery man is, he always plays ball with Dex.

Bec is still asleep, I will leave her for a while, and get myself organised....Be back later M x

Ariom!  I was just thinking of your having a Marika store!  You are psychic.  I hope it is not against the law.  Wait.  I hope it is.  Idesim and I will bail you out, and then we will live in your backroom with Dex while you are on house arrest.

No.  'Save' all of those sale items, and bring them out in waves as the first round wears out. You will have a little -moire that you can go shopping in whenever you need something fresh!

SUCCESS!!  Laughing  Even in 100°F heat!

I got a great recliner! I must have sat in 25 and played with the controls, etc.  It came down to 2 that I could get in time for surgery.  One was really fancy went out almost flat and then would tip up for me to get out of the chair.  Problem was it was an icky dark brick/blood red that wouldn't match anything and it was in the big side.  The one I finally decided on is a dark blue chennile type fabric. It is also a rocker so I can rock forward to get out of the chair. It doesn't go quite as flat as the other, but it is far enough to be comfortable for sleeping while I need to.  It is really comfy and I love rocking chairs so needless to say I am thrilled with it!!

I bought a couple pair of pajamas and some light cotton pj bottoms.  Picked up all the supplies I could think of from the surgery prep thread: paper tape; gauze; large waterproof bandaids to cover the drain sites when I finally get to shower; antibacterial wipes for the hospital room; wipes to clean my face and others to do spot cleaning on body before I can shower; antibacterial gell; antibacterial cleanser (Hibacleanse); neck pillow, small pillow.  I'm still working my way through that thread!

I couldn't find a grabber, or throat lozenges I can use, and I am still trying to decide if I want to buy a wedge pillow for when I can go back into my bed.

Now I have to decide how to organize the kitchen, bath and bedroom so I can reach everything I need.  Another set of lists! :)

All in all a very good day and not one dr appointment!!

Yes bobogirl, my DD has a DLLP, she is such a lovely lady!!  They have a 2.5 year old girl named Jaxson.  It was my daughter's egg and her DLLP carried the baby.  Jax is the youngest grand daughter, my son has 3 girls, 13, 11, & 9.  They all live in California so I don't see them often.  I had just gotten back from a week there when I had my mammo.......

A question, am I going to be able to bend over to feed and change my cat's litter boxes by day 3 post surgery?

GammaB, You should be able to feed your cats and clean the litter. What you can't do is lift a big container of litter. So put a container by the litter box with something to dip it out with and you'll be set. They told me nothing over 10 lbs, so your cats may be too large to pick up.

Thanks Wren44, I was concerned about the bending over.  I only have the one cat, (see him in my avatar) he's a big boy, he weighs 13#.  I won't be picking him up for a while I guess.

Oh my, that was a wonderful shopping expedition. I am so glad you found the chair you wanted, and it is available when you need it.

I am so envious of all your Grandchildren. I love the name Jax. That's just not on the horizon for me, sigh.... Bec is certain she won't  have children.

I arranged things so I didn't have to reach up for anything, but bending over was easy. As Wren says, you may not be up fo lifting the cat. Dexter had to spend some time at the kennel because I couldn't lift him, he's over 20lbs, and he has always stretched himself over my chest first thing in the morning. I couldn't risk him jumping up on me in bed.

You are going to be so well prepared for this, you'll breeze through it.....M x

I have to tell you, my boxes arrived today!!!!!!

Miss Bobo, thank you so much! and thank you Princess for my drawing of the Weeping Princess, I love it!

I spent ages trying lots of stuff on, but guess what? It isn't all here, there were three more orders delivered to the US box today. I must have had a black out, and kept on ordering. There is lots more to come. There were a couple of things that didn't fit, but not enough to be an issue. I was saying how thrilled I was that they sent me a great drinking bottle, but Colin thinks, since I must have almost cleared their warehouse, it was the least they could do:)

We had a big day today. I took Bec into Bairnsdale the next big town, to introduce herself at the Regional Office attached to where she works in the city. They were thrilled to meet her and took her on a tour and introduced her to all the staff. She is hoping that there may be a position there at some time so she can move up this way.

I made gourmet Pizzas for dinner, fresh veg and seafood with herbs from the garden, a great success. Coconut Sorbet and banana for dessert.

Tomorrow is the Farmers Market so I'll take Bec and send her home with lots of local produce. A couple of garage sales are advertised so we may check them out too. Maybe a long walk with Dex, and then Bec leaves at lunchtime on Sunday. The visit has been great but the time just flies by.

    Off to watch a movie...chat later..M x

Ariom, I'm curious if the Marika tanks can be worn in place of bras, or do you still need a bra under them? I looked at their website and the prices are incredible right now.

Ariom, Yes, I am very blessed to have such wonderful children (& their significant others) and grand children.  I am so looking forward to my DS & DD coming out to help me, even though the circumstances aren't that great.  It will be nice, even so, to have one on one time with them.

I know what you mean about the time flying by!!  I was visiting at the beginning of June for a week and that just flew by!! Enjoy every minute you have with Bec!!  My DD will only be here for 4 days, more like 3.5 days. :(  My DS will be here more like 5 to 6 depending on work schedule, so that will be nice. He won't be here until either 10 or 12 days post op though.  Hoping to be well enough to get some "Honey do" projects done by him! ;)

I am so excited for my chair to arrive!!  I've already figured out how to rearange the room to fit it in. I plan to test sleeping in it a couple times before surgery.

bobogirl, would I be out of line to ask to be put at the end of the line of requests for knitted knockers? All shades of purple are my fav colors if there is any choice.  I haven't read enough of this thread yet to see when this started.  I've been reading the prep for surgery thread and the Arimidex/anastrozole threads right now.  (If I do hormone therapy, that is what the MO said he'd use. I need to research that for SE before I accept it though.)  But I will get back and catch up on everything here too eventually. :)
