Oh Teka, just beautiful. Those are wonderful gardens. Did you go to Maine to leaf peep too?

I came to the cottage today and I was surprised to see my Dahlia is blooming still. Winter is almost here ,temperatures drop already and my plants are giving me something to smile about ?

Wow! That is gorgeous! I'll look for one here. They are pretty much summer only here, but that one would be totally worth it.

Garden stopped producing tomatoes last week so I harvested the last of what was growing. Hubby did the tear down this week while he took a week of vacation from work to get stuff done here and at his parents house.

    M0mmyof2,

We placed all our green tomatoes in brown boxes, covered with brown paper, and waited. I still have some turning red!

Replaced my spider plant that died with a new one. Hubby helped me transplant it into the new pot.

Dodgersgirl ..The Kangaroos will eat some of the plants .. in really dry periods ..If there's natural green pick around they aren't interested ..

Yes Lucy, me too as my gardens are going to sleep soon. We will have a frost soon and already had some snow here last week with an early blast of winter. Bring on the photos from the southern hemisphere!

We had some wild weather here on the coast yesterday. This is hail all over my deck after the storm- very unusual here

Our weather here can't make up it's mind. Rain one day and then 80s the next.

GMAfoley- that is a beautiful photo.

Peachy- we had 2 inches of rain overnight, in a place that gets 8 inches a year. It has been crazy over here too. Get ready as this is a soaker and coming your way......

Lucy love your hibiscus. Its great to see as we head into fall and winter here. I cant imagine seeing a kangaroo out and about. How cool!

jazzy- that must’ve been crazy! Two inches overnight is a lot for most places, never mind the desert! Does it just soak into the soil or did you get mudslides and such? Sorry for my ignorance.

Cpeachy- no floods or mudslides but I did find a leak in my roof!
