    Spookiesmom she is gorgeous!

Cowgirl I think she is a Tortie, not a Calico based on her predominant coloring.

Edj3 glad to hear little miss Annie is doing better. Hope there is peace in the household. Or as much peace as can be with two young kittens around ha

edj3, That is good to hear.

    Spookiesmom, beautiful.

Miss Felix is going in for a Peticure. She sounds like a little dog walking around, not a little cat. I hate to take her, she stresses out. I have tried to give her the morning pills and she doesn't want to eat. Not good. I will be glad when this is over.

She is my grandcat. Very shy and skittish. Very unusual for her to be out like this. DD had her phone close. I don’t know what you call her besides pretty.

Well, Annie's prolapse just won't stay gone. Husband is calling the vet right now (I'm on yet another conference call, story of my working life in the Time of COVID).

Princess has adjusted fully to Nugget’s presence. And though he does tend to chase her and at times get a little rough in play, she’s okay with her baby brother. Grace is still in the not so sure mode although she does get curious at night and comes to check him out when he’s zonked! Think it’s partly jealousy because she was the baby until Nugget arrivedand she’s still slowly getting used to him being here.

Reporting back in on Annie--the vet is encouraged that overall the prolapse is improving. He wants us to continue watching, applying the salve if and as the prolapse shows up again. He said that surgery for this is really dicey, it's easy to get the opening too tight and then she would strain all her life. We don't want that! So we'll keep doing as he said, and cleaning up all the little bloody butt spots with hydrogen peroxide.

Sounds like your vet is really trying to make sure she does not have risky surgery unless there is absolutely no alternative. God willing she will heal with your help without it.

Annie sure picked the right cat mom! Glad she is under your care and glad you have such a careful vet. Hoping that it resolves itself soon.

Poor little Annie - my namesake! Hopefully the prolapse will resolve itself. So glad you have such a caring vet. And so glad Annie has such wonderful parents!

Well Annie is back at the vet today. She had a bloody stool last night and the prolapse was back this morning. My husband put the ointment on her little bum and it resolved again. But the vet said yeah bring her in. So she and her bloody poop are there. Still hoping for no surgery.

I think Stevie is missing her sister. She was on my lap for nearly an hour, purring and purring. Sorry this is crooked, it's hard to do a long arm selfie w/o disturbing a kitten.

Annie stayed the night at the vet's so they can get a stool sample they 100% know is hers. They'll test that for parasites; he didn't want to dose her for parasites unless she actually has them. I hope we're able to pick her up today as Stevie is quite sad and lonely without her.

Egads! I'm on a team at the shelter that handles applications for foster cats. Today they posted not one, but four kittens. We have been slammed with applications. There haven't been many kittens this year, so they're in really high demand. To make it worse, I've been on leave for 2 months after hurting myself and can barely remember what I'm supposed to do.
