Feelingfeline ~ Poor Vinnie......very sad his owner abandoned him in such a way but so heartwarming to know all the kind people who were concerned for him. So happy he has a new home :)

There was a link below Vinnie's story about Garfield, a kitty who makes daily visits to the neighborhood shop. He has become a local "celebrity" and has his own FaceBook page! One of Garfield's fans posted this and it touched my heart - and made me giggle:

"He comes up to me in my wheelchair and sits on my lap as I have a blanket on me and he has a 5 min stroke then when I have to go he doesn't want to get off as he's settled and warm on my blanket little tike... :-)
My friend has to lift him off and he just glares at me while I'm getting into the car as if to say please come back so I can have another sit on your blanket!!! Lol...
    "

    Here's the news story:

    Love the happy stories!

CJ ~ Hope all went well with your test. I get way stressed out before tests - starting the day day before until I actually get there. Ugh. There are mobile vets that come to the house for the kitties...why not us?

Yesterday was my all day doctoring day. I had my tablet to keep me entertained in between docs and during my Zometa infusion. My husband is a fart face, not a DH, making him FFH. FFH does not like cats but tolerates my kitty. You can imagine his "delight" when I thrust my tablet in his face and squeeled "OMG! A new Gus picture!!!!!! Look! It's Gus!" and proceeded to give him a review of all your Gus pics! 

FFH was trapped with me in infusion for 45 minutes. I made sure to share with him as many of the past Cats pics as possible, What great fun! lol

Beautiful tribute pic for Prince. Such a shock he passed. We saw an electronic billboard on the highway yesterday that was all purple with the Prince symbol surrounded by hearts and peace signs.

Seachain ~ Stressed Kitty is purrrfect for most of my days!

Shepkitty - you had me laughing. I've always said the that "D" can stand for many things in DH... I'm glad FHH "enjoyed" your photo gallery. Gus is happy to contribute at any time. Test went like the test was supposed to - although I had a young, cute technician. I never feel self conscious about tests, but having him give it to me, made me so... Weird.

So Gus is not my only permanent cat. I also have Fia (means flickering Flame in Italian - my daughter comes up with great names. She named Gus after Gus Gus the mouse in Cinderella, by the way). She's a typical tortie and has all of the tortitude and then some, but she loves to climb all over me making biscuits in the worst possible places. She's a trip. She's just as loved as Gus but a lot more camera shy.

CJ I have a camera shy cat too! Have to photograph him with a telephoto lens from the other side of the garden (other side of a room is not far enough away for him to be unaware of the camera)

Bittersweet hour. Rusty will be picked up by his new family at 11am. Less than an hour to go. They have a young playful cat so I think he'll love it there. My 9yo doesn't want to play at the level Rusty does. He's a sweetheart and they said they plan to keep his name. He's named after a relative who personified grit and determination. Rusty needed those with 2 broken legs and a hernia. I plan to take a break from fostering. Of course, I always say that. Then I see a cat at the shelter who needs my kitty medical skills and there I go again.

Arthur is awesome! I have a thing for tabbies with little white pawsies. :) Your daughter is precious as well!

Making biscuits - when the cats crawls on you and started kneading and purring. Like how you knead bread to make it rise. :)

Wren - awww, it's so hard isn't it? You put your heart and soul into each of these kitties, and then they go to a new home. Bless you for doing this. <3

Next time I will wake Squeakers up so he can see Rusty leaving in a cage. He spent the whole afternoon and evening telling us Rusty wasn't to be found and we should help him look. He hasn't worried about it yet today, so I hope that phase is over. True to his name, Squeakers just squeaks when he wants something. He was squeaking non-stop yesterday.

Rusty's cage was in my small study (2.5 ft x 4 ft). I'm having problems adjusting to having space again. Won't take long to fill it up, but right now it looks very empty. DH said it felt weird to walk in without having to dodge desk and cage.

~ Fia is a beauty! Love the black stripe running down her face, very unique coloring. Your daughter is great with names!

feelingfeline ~ Arthur looks HUGE! I love the contrast of the expressions; Your pretty daughter smiling so sweetly and Arthur looking so disgruntled!

Wren ~ I hope poor Squeekers is feeling better and not missing his buddy so much :(

Juniper ~ Oh that Ricky looks like he is giving the other kitties the stink eye! Does he rule the bed too? Gotta love a boy with cat-a-tude!

kathindc ~ Wonder if I can order that kit on Amazon? image

FF - Deer, huh? Well, if I think of it as dear - as in DH and we all know that the D can stand for multiple things, not all good - then it works well. :p

LOVE the Crazy Cat Lady Starter Kit! Hee!

This is my fosters right now... Man...
