Oh my goodness......maybe you were all wacked out because you were coming down with pneumonia. I had pneumonia a couple years ago (when I was on vacation no less) and everything about what I was doing (or pretty much not doing) and the trip home are all very vague to me.

You were exercising during PET scan and no one thought that was odd? Someone should have checked on you immediately and stopped the scan.
Rest and recover from pneumonia. I am impressed that you typed that whole story. Please keep us updated when you can.

Hi Patty love your screen name just saw your post how scary for you. Lots of things can cause memory loss like pneumonia, stress, anxiety and high blood pressure. My mom had a few episodes and we found a bunch of reasons. Here is one https://www.ehealthme.com/cs/pneumonia/memory-loss/ I hope you feel better soon so you can get out of the hospital that’s no fun. Gentle hugs Jacqu

Patty, bank said your debit card was used in Tulsa. Obviously this was not possible in the timeframe, plus your carkeys found in your local Walmart.
Means the bank got their info wrong !!! And the bank staff (presumably) don't have pneumonia....
On a serious note, hope you are getting all the rest and care you need. When you get home would you have have a close friend or family member that you could let know where you are going, how long you will be etc as a safety precaution? It may never happen again that you are not yourself like that, God willing.

Dear Patty. I can’t imagine how frightening this must be. Perhaps it was a very high temperature from the pneumonia. Sending prayers and hugs your way

Yes very scary. Can't believe the techs didn't say anything. They should know it was useless. Argh!
Also an infection can cause weird behavior. Pneumonia is s bad one. Of course our minds always go to the big C.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

mo said ct yesterday showed pneumonia and hard to read liver. They def didn’t see cancer in any other organs they tested. We didn’t scan brain so confused about that.
Couldn’t sleep for anything last night. My pain pump ran out of dilaudid and the pharmacy couldn’t find enough and then the label they put on was overlapped so scanner couldnt read it. Finally after like 2 hours they got it. But I was a big ole blubbering mess. Ouch !!!
They repeating ct again to get better view of liver because even with pain pump pushing 1 mg per 10 min I still couldn’t get on top of pain. While waiting on it

Inflammation in the pelvis area. Do you have your ovaries?

you guys were right. Dr said just inflammation on pelvis. But I have been short of breath last night and all today. Lots pressure in chest. They are doing some protocol to check for blood clots in lungs. More test. Yuck. Thank God I got approved for Medicaid

glad it's just inflammation! So glad that is all it is. I know how much I hate tests as well. I hope it's just more inflammation lasting from the pneumonia you just had. It takesalong time for that to clear up. Rest is always the best thing. But geeze aren't we also sick of just resting? I know I am. Love you friend. ~M~

oh my it been quite a day today.
I have had not pain but pressure in my chest all day. Heart rate was 288 then it came down and back up to 200. Currently 128 which is still high but better
Liver is totally encased in cancer but no other organs involved. All. Bones have mets.
Mo danced around going home on hospice and i think I agree. Such s hard choice. Mo said the two chemo that were most effective and easiest on my tummy and labs kept my lab s bottom out. I have already taken
tomorrow will be a big deial. gonna try to get a o nite rest. Maybe things will look better

Patty, Do the doctors know what is causing the rapid heart rate and pressure? Have they ruled out pulmonary embolism? I hope you feel better soon. I am keeping you in my prayers.

a night of unrest. Just in so much pain even with the dialudid pain pump. Not sure how I am going to Control the painat home. Also couldn’t sleep trying to decide hospice now or just stopping tx and following with mo until it gets worse then hospice. Such a hard decision to stop tx but my quality of life has been in the tank for awhile now. It sucks to not be in contr

Patty...I'm so sorry you are suffering. I can't imagine what a hard decision it is. However I do want to assure you that if you do decide on Hospice they will be able to manage your pin at home. Its their forte. You could also get palliative care involved until you decide. Thought and prayers are with you.

Patty, I am sorry that you are in so much pain. I hope they find some way to bring it under control. Dtd is right about hospice. They will be able to administer meds to help with the pain. Whatever you decide, you will still be able to change your mind. Choosing hospice does not mean that you have to stay in hopice if it isn't what you expected. I am praying for you. I know that you are not taking this decision lightly. Whatever you decide, we will be here to support you. I know that you are a woman with strong faith, and you know that God is surrounding you with His love. I hope that today is a better day for you.
Hugs and prayers from, Lynne
