Your stained glass is amazing JJOntario. It's one craft I have never tried though I'd love to.
Love the "Raggedy Baby".
I made these "Raggedys" out of terracotta pot planters.

Hi Smurfette and Feeling Feline, Thank you for your kind comments. I just love my crafts and I am always looking for new things to do with stuff people throw out. I find it very therapeutic doing crafts, I don't think of anything else when I am involved with it. Helps keep the black dog at bay!!! Best wishes Muriel

Muriel, The secretary at the senior center where I volunteer made lanyards out of crocheted plastic bags. Staff wear their keys and badges on them.

Hi Wren44, Yes there is no end to what you can make with so called rubbish. I prefer to call it an unused resource. There is an excellent programme on TV at the moment called "Totally Rubbish". It comes from the U.K., aimed at children but a lot of interesting stuff for big kids like me. Love Muriel

There's a store here that stocks unused resources to use in art projects. Almost anything you can imagine. They have classes for different age groups too. Lots of fun to poke around in.

Beautiful JO, and what a great idea to include garden creations on here Hugz - your dahlia (I think?) is magnificent, and that's a fabulous photo.

I'll bet it is a Dinner Plate Dahlia! So gorgeous!
One of our "side" gardens....
And YES! Those ARE Blue Flamingo's... They got tired of always being Pink! Found the Budha years ago out by someone's dumpster, and he also became blue... Come to think of it, my Daughter found THEM from someone throwing them out, and they live again... Ha!

Oh I love the bowling ball!
When we were on hols this summer we visited a lovely walled garden that was full of stones painted as different bugs. It was great fun going round spotting them (excuse the pun)
These are some pics of them
so sweet - simple and attractive - just like the bowling ball!
What did your cousin use for the antennae?

Your garden is lovely Chevyboy. Thank you for sharing.
The lady bugs are oh so cute. I might have to create some.
Seem to have lost my crafting mojo at the moment though. Hope I find it soon.

Smurfette you're sure to find some inspiration here

Smurfette, I totally understand. I love to read. For at least a year after surgery, I couldn't read anything longer than a magazine article. Many women have commented about problems getting back into what they were doing.

Because I had the blue paint from painting the HUGE picnic-table on our back patio...Ha! That bright blue just drove our Daughter nuts, but I liked it... I sprayed the blue Flamingo's, but painted the Budha and table, and a few other things...
I FOUND 2 old wooden chairs out in the alley... Someone must have thrown them out or I don't know what.... but I took them home, and painted them...
The "wicker" chair on the left needs re-painting... I have the wicker on on our front porch, out of the weather..... I only painted the red-seat on the other one, and left the white frame alone... don't know why someone would throw something like that away....
Did I post this once? I put it together a couple years ago, and then I put it in my on-line Picassa album, and THEY added the twinkling lights... I had my own string of lights in it, but they "animated" it...

I am creating a photo journal for my myself and my family and friends documenting my experiences with MBC. Here are a couple of photographs from it. I love photography and spend as much time as I can taking photos. My other photographs are not as "raw" as these.
