When I saw that one from my stepbrother I had to laugh because I could see that happening.

Dobby is always up for a cuddle.

But with the post-Nulasta bone pain, I couldn't get settled last night and he decided his dad was a better cuddle buddy.

McLane ~did you take Claritin a week before your nulasta shot ? I had the bone pain one time and took Claritin and I never had that issue again. Don't want any sister to suffer needlessly! Dobby is adorable. lil snuggler. I am the one who didthe sleeping today!

Jenkins~ he’s a great size. Mine is too big for my bed and I end up like a pretzel. Wrapped all around every direction. But we love our doggies !

image.......this is my Grand baby St. Bernard chief. I visited with him this week and I was thrilled. He is absolutely massive. His head is seriously three times the size of mine but he's so special and loving. image.......this was when he was a puppy. He's now almost two and weighs 125 lbs. he is now a gentle giant. I love him

mclane- I always took Claritin 3 to 5 days before chemo. I continue to take it for my herceptin and perjeta just to be on the safe side. I'd have had minimal to no bone pain. I love looking at the dog photos. They always make me smile. Our dogs are so lucky but so are we. Because we have them.

My dr's office said to start the Claritin the day of chemo (1 day before the Neulasta shot), the day of the shot, and to take it for 3-5 days afterwards. Next time I will start 3-5 before and continue for 3-5 afterwards and see if that helps.

Pic of a concerned Pippin and a little less concerned Dobby to stay on topic.

Pippin and Dobby are concerned. I did mention above I took mine several days before infusion but I also took Claritin for a few days after my infusions. Good luck

So much cuteness! I don't know where to start because I want to comment on every photo. So I'll take the simpler path and broadly comment that I've still been following this thread and loving all the paw updates.

MLanne - Dogs really know don't they re: concerned looks? I keep showing my husband pics of your dogs and saying we need to rethink his other half that we previously thought was Aussie Shepherd mixed with the Border Collie.

Micmel - our Tucker is 16 or 17 and Domino is 12. Definitely understand how you are feeling with our senior pups! I just enjoy today and hope they will be the Guinness book world record holders of longest living dogs. And OMG THAT PUPPY PHOTO I CAN’T GET ENOUGH OF IT.

    Fellow Pom hello to Pansy!

And speaking of their cuteness, here's our weekend vibes...

That’s an Aussie face, and expression. Does he have a tail? Was it docked? I was owned by an Aussie for 14 1/2 years, and ran in to many on the show circuit with him. image

Tucker has a tail, here he is wagging! Yeah originally thought he is half border collie and half Aussie Shepherd. He's small for a border collie. 16 or 17 now (he's a rescue and was 1 or 2 when he adopted us, now it's 15 years later...) and still strong. I read somewhere that the world's longest living dog was a border collie mix and lived to 30 so I'm hoping!

Spookiesmom- wow what an impressive and athletic pic! What was your Aussie's name?

OK everyone - I'm putting it out there to our paw community, what mix do you think Tucker is? We know one half is border collie... what's the other? He's about 35-40 lbs...

Pebbles, I'll take a wild guess and say Shetland Sheepdog.

In all of his registries he was Wolfgang Amadoggus, aka Vulfie. If you saw the movie Amadeus that's where his call name came from. I had an absolute blast with him. Agility and obedience. He was my ❤️ I still miss him.

I think your baby could be all Aussie, some are born with tails and don't get docked. His coloring is Aussie black tri. BCs are usually black & white, or they can be red bi.

Does he have any copper color?

I have been pet sitting Bella since Thanksgiving. Her mother has a very aggressive cancer and there are no other treatment options. She is home now and in very good spirits. My friend was so worried her beloved Bella would not remember her . Today I took Bella over for a visit. Bella was ecstatic to see her mommy. It brought tears to my eyes.

Just precious. Absolutely beautiful! Dogs never forget ever. They are amazing souls. Our tag isn't doing well at all. Tomorrow just maybe the day I will have to part with one of the best dogs I could have ever asked for. I love him and have been crying all night devastated that we may have to put him down. We've been putting it off. Today for the first time he could not control his bowls. Leaking twice this evening and he can't support his weight any longer. He laid in my arms for hours of course. I cried the entire time. I don't want to Let him go💔🐾. image...... I will be lucky if he lives through the night.

Hug your sweet puppies for me please!

    Much love ~M~

Micmel - hugging our puppies and thinking of you. Our “little bear cub” Kit Kat crossed the rainbow bridge almost a year ago and we still think of and miss her everyday. They never leave us in our hearts.

jo what a beautiful photo of bella and her mom. How wonderful of you to help and support during such a tough time.

Micmel sorry your tag is failing. I know you give him great comfort by holding him. My heart goes out to you.

I think dogs are amazing. I honestly thought that today would be the day I had to put down tag. I laid with him until four in the morning... every time I tried to lay him down to get into my bed, he would whine. Look for me. I kept the light on ....so he could see me. When I was woken up by the other dog....for breakfast. There he was wagging his tail ready for breakfast. He actually walked downstairs. Ate... and has been pretty good. The vet has determined that he had a stroke. That he could have more. Now we are faced with. Should we put him to sleep ? Or should we let him live it out? He didn't seem to be in any pain.. I love him and don't want to let him go.... but I also don't want to be selfish. 😔💔. But today he seemed fine. A little tired. But went outside and didn't have any bladder issues. Sigh sigh 😔 I just don't know what to do ! I. Really don't!
