    Hello,

    Stage 4 from the beginning (Aug / September 2014)

    IDC with mets to liver, spleen, GE, Lungs and nodes and innumerable to bones but sclerotic lesions only and chemo has everything in holding pattern.

    Brain Mets May 2016... hanging in here!

    Dx Stage IIIC Dec 2013 (although it's possible I was de novo mets - everything was scanned at initial dx except my brain)

    Dx Stage IV Jan 2016 with 2 large and one small brain mets, at this point still brain only

    Hi - just heard today that I am stage IV - mets to bone. I was initially diagnosed stage 2b in June of 2016 and then it went to stage 3 after lymph node dissection.

    hi everyone. If there is anyone out there from Winnipeg Manitoba with stage iv bc and wants to chat or meet just to talk, I would be up for that. Im stage iv dx in 2015 has spread to multiple areas in the bones. I am 50 years old.

    Still feeling good, doing my normal routine. Currently just on Xgeva and Tamoxifen and hoping to stay off chemo for awhile longer.

    awilson, de novo (from the beginning) means the disease was Stage IV when dx'd, as opposed to those who start with an earlier stage bc and then have a distance recurrence that makes them Stage IV. I believe something like 16% of Stage IV bc is dx'd de novo.
