    Hi all! Stage IV diagnosis in July 2016 (mets to lungs).

    2011 Stage 1 ILC

    2014 Stage iv ILC (Mets to liver etc.)

    So far I see 183 results here, but subtracting the 15 that are comments, Q&A, and deletes, that gives us 168 people with stage iv who have posted here so far. I count 22 who mention ILC either in their post or in their stats, which is 13%. I did this calculation because it seemed like we had a lot of ILC stage iv here, but 13% coincides with the information from the NCI SEER that says ILC makes up 10-15% of invasive breast cancer cases (all stages). SEER counts stage iv de novo cases (6-10% of cases), but does not keep track of early stage to metastatic cases. Many people here did not give subtype, so I assumed those are IDC.

    Original BC stage I in October 2012. Stage IV (liver and lung mets) diagnosed in November 2015.

    De novo September 2014, right breast, several lymph nodes, sternum and lung.

    Progression July 2016 - original tumor grown into chest wall, and discovery of a 2nd adjacent tumor.

    Hi, mets to bone ("innumerable skeletal lesions") and ovaries as of May 2016. Originally Stage 1 IDC + DCIS in 2009, recurrent DCIS in same breast 2011.
