Oh yes, Ipana with the beaver:

Brusha, brusha, brusha - New Ipana Toothpaste, With the brand new flavor, it's friendly for your teeth.

Well obviously you can't hear me singing, but this jingle is definitely embedded deep in my subconscious.

How about the Little Arrow Book Club, where several times a year you could order books? It was always hard to narrow them down to how much money my mom said I could spend.

Found a video from 2007 of Ed Ames still singing, but nothing more recent.

But this video from the 60s is why I loved his singing

remember gas station road maps and how hard it could be to refold them?

I'm still a devotee of paper road maps. Many states produce great state maps. Many city tourist bureaus or chambers of commerce have maps. But I've found the most reliable for paper maps has been AAA.

Years ago I was able to buy an old road map book of the "48" states from the early 1950s. It was fascinating to see how you could travel across states without the Interstate road system! I remember riding those roads, and through the cities, in the backseat of my parent's car. My dad had a huge bunch of road maps he had gotten free from gas stations.
