I will be looing at memes and articles later since I have a procedure at noon today with my Urologist. In the meantime, though — I'm listening and thinking a lot about what is going on. I do think and did think the minute I heard that Matt Gaetz resigned his 'seat' that something was going on. Now the Ethics Committee that was about to "spill the report on him" likely won't do it. He gets off at the last minute and FG helped him with this maneuver greatly.
I also have read that FG is going to just get it ALL out their (outrageous and horrid as it may be) because that will really prove who he can trust of the Senate and House and other government people. If they 'allow' him to go with some of these totally un-qualified people (some poss. assets to Putin) then he gets on the page, he wants right away.
I am left wondering since the Reps. for so long have made excuses, or given in, or in some cases just stayed silent. Hard to believe they would stand still for some picks like Gaetz, or Gabbard. Hedspeth from Fox News isn't so wonderful either, but I think the highest concern may be with the others.
I read here this morning how many Google inquiries have turned up about the possibility of changing your election vote now. Well, buyer's remorse for having voted FG does seem to be coming. It begs the question about what you were thinking to choose him in the first place. I would suppose - people for some reason starting REALLY talking to each other and are discovering friends, family, may be deported and a few who may actually be able to explain tariffs to each other are generating fear in that dept. Some of the information seemed to almost make it sound like many people wanted it to be really close, but maybe didn't think 'really close' would translate to the win that it did.
All sort of theories and many have some or lots of validity. I am also reading that if FG's approval level plummets for any reason (and so far, he is putting out an enormous number of good reasons) that despite having both Senate and House — even a SC that those entities in the long and broad sense are subject to the American public at large and will not be able to hold FG up. That does make that buyer's remorse a big issue. The more people who are dissatisfied, left behind, possibly uprooted or deported and forced into higher prices than they are paying now, who may lose some Ins. All would have reasons to be extremely upset and un-happy over the results of what they have done. The more they make that known, the lower FG's approval may go — the less cooperation he will get from those who ultimately have positions or have been elected to our government by us. The American public seems to cycle through biting off more than is very easy to chew but may have truly gone overboard this time.
So the hope is that approval rating starts down right now with some of the things being done so that on Inauguration Day FG starts with low approval and if fortunate may go down even more. The high 20's, low 30's a good spot to be to be able to cancel you.
So, it is important for all of us to stay vigilant and make the most of opportunities to make sure truth stays as much in front as possible.
I am a bit amazed that so many seemed un-able to communicate in reasonable fashion until after the fact. Also surprised that anyone (although you are generally anonymous) would go on Google thinking they'd find some place there to help them change their vote. No wonder we are in this shape if people think you can just simply (any reason enough) change your mind and vote differently. It is a bit mind boggling for me.
I do though get some feeling that while life may be pretty difficult, un-wieldy and scary, there is some hope with it too. It has been interesting to see so much, so soon, that sounds like negative news for FG. I think for a long time I'll be recalling the lady whose piece was shown where she went on social media to say how much she was pleased she voted for Trump, not the least un-happy and would do it again —- all the while hiccupping through massive tears that her family was pretty much shunning her. She seemed to not understand — she let them know by her vote that she was willing to CANCEL them and make their life hell while she enjoyed hers. Fact is — some of hers might end up not so enjoyable either and that has begun already. Of course, the real point is consigning her family to what they will now face due to her vote.
So — all is not totally lost. There is not a huge mandate for anything, and FG does not sound like he is starting out well at all inviting outrage at the onset. There are it would seem a whole lot of buyer's remorse already afoot, and FG's actions seem like it could be made far worse fairly quickly. Holding on for now.

Just like FG to surround himself with lowlife's just like him. What could go wrong ?? That is going to posssibly end up a huge conversation.
Helping Gaetz avoid his own personal prosecution while FG avoids most if not all of his—pure delight for those who are scum of the earth. It's how birds of a feather thrive, but they also will come home to roost too.
