And if they are, guess what it might cost to hire "legal" workers rather than immigrants and that only if they are willing to actually work like that. Most aren't.

This is beautiful as I'm grown to expect from former Pres. and former First Lady ( The Obama's ) and while I do pretty much agree I have to say I still feel concern. Can't put my finger on it and sure haven't heard a whisper of any sort of proof, but losing all the EC states in play - 7. And not just that, but losing the Senate and perhaps, (still counting) the House as well.

It happens, but even though Harris and FG were neck and neck most of the way, she had on the end pulled ahead. I think I read something about a possible re-count on VP Harris, but I'd have to look around. I also think with people like Musk and others around FG with plenty of cash could perhaps find things to do that don't trace well. Just seems to me for all the enthusiasm, money, endorsements etc. it is odd that you lose all 7 states and so many R's got re-elected. Not sure we will ever know. I try not to read too much into things but it's difficult since I so intensely despise FG.

This is part of the GOP's long game.

    • Deport immigrants creating a labor vacuum.
    • Loosen laws regulating prison labor rules, thus qualifying the incarcerated for cheap (if not free) labor.
    • "Get tough on crime" again, thus ensuring a high prison population to man the fields, and to perpetuate the poverty cycle by ensuring that men with a prison record are not hirable for anything other than farm labor.
    • Oh yeah, and they can't vote anymore either.

Well, if FG the convicted felon can vote that means he should lose this as well. I'd like to see him do farm labor as well. Perhaps we could provide him with a scythe instead of a golf club and he could weed whack on his golf course to cover his fees? I am sure that cheap bastard makes us pay for each round he does play.

Let us be merciful in our mental judgments of our brothers and sisters,
for, in truth, we are all one, and the more deeply they seem to err,
the more urgent is the need for us to help them with the right thought,
and so make it easier for them to get free.

I know what you might be feeling as you read that quote, but I thought about what I read on Meidas Touch yesterday. About all the apparent strong angst already turning up for so many of those who voted for FG and their relatives who did not — turning their backs. I don't feel blame — but I would say some people who in my mind should have known better — certainly knew plenty and who went ahead and voted the way they did anyway apparently need the stronger reality. They perhaps need to be taboo to their relatives right now as much as the relatives needing the space as well.

It is a harsh and I think seemingly judgmental type of thing in an odd way to KNOW the pretty much complete and total character of a person — know how much harm and devastation and then VOTE against the people you say you love and the ones you expect love you.

I wasn't thinking specifically about how families would be impacted. Mainly because it seems some holidays have been tricky for people all along. It certainly sounds far worse right now. This seems more like a pointed blow, a much bigger disavowal of family love and ties.

Realities become harsh and painful — and both sides are going to GET the lesson. I think that is actually the fairer situation.

Melania Reportedly Snubs Jill Biden, Skips Traditional White House Meet-Up

In no way a surprise. She has all the class of a rotted piece of fruit. Then again, it may be somewhat of a favor to Jill. However, the Frist Lady would have done her duty graciously — no matter how she might truly feel.

It is true somewhat that it could be over (although it sounded even then that FG would find a way to extend) but what I do think is true now is how easy for the cheeseburger child to fall over with a massive heart attack. He is already steep into dementia — and other things to consider. How long will he be left loose to commit whatever is demented mind thinks up.

What befalls them will only be what they ask for —- knowingly or unknowingly. That is pretty much the same.

And he already has a Christmas ornament for you to buy. Nothing like starting the presidential grifting early on — I'm sure it's a great time to GET all the happy you won idiot characters. I think they can even have up to five people on their ornament. As someone we all know says " Isn't that special".

I second the facepalm button for sure. I saw that and didn't know whether to scream, bat my head on the wall or eat a triple lunch, salt and all.

I guess we are all going to have to see how long some of these 'loyal, but absolutely know nothing about government types' can make it. If FG behaves as he did the first time around — hope everyone walks on eggshells around him because you may be surprised how quickly you can be asked to vacate the premises. There was a high turn-over then. Great ass-kissing isn't much of a prerequisite for a job and if that job is in high government — I wish them luck and will pray for us.

These people can't figure out much — they have been so busy waving their middle fingers at the people on the left.

Sadly he was raised by a Democrat mother who deserves a pat on the back for having a backbone and for sticking to her guns. She supposedly gave him a list of things that he should observe in his job and he hasn't so this was her way of establishing boundaries of acceptable behavior and he failed mightily.

We will have the lunatics running the asylum with Mike Huckabee going to be an ambassador. He's a first class ass and has always been one. What does he know about foreign diplomacy?
