So true — he does not recognize the worth of a good person, only recognizes ugly which is much easier to see because he is just like those he clings too. Disgustingly evil and insane.

BREAKING: Donald Trump gets crushing news as a federal judge orders depositions from several administration officials over the White House's failure to take the court-ordered steps to facilitate the return of the innocent Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

    This scandal just went supernova...

"What the record shows is that nothing has been done. Nothing. I asked for reports from individuals with direct knowledge and I’ve gotten very little information of any value," said U.S. District Court Judge Paula Xinis, adding that she gave "a very simple directive" for the government to update her on steps taken.

She stated that she is not yet holding the government in contempt of court but floated the idea of taking that drastic step if the issue is not properly addressed soon.

For now, she has ordered the Trump administration to furnish documents and responses to interrogatories. Better still, she has ordered that four MAGA officials who signed affidavits in the case must sit for depositions no later than April 23rd.

This move will allow Abrego Garcia’s attorneys to grill Trump immigration officials, exposing them in the process and likely inflicting a major black eye on this habitually dishonest White House.

Drew Ensign, an attorney for the Trump administration, suggested that they may attempt to prevent at least one of the depositions and that they are working to appeal Xinis's order because "we don't believe discovery is appropriate."

"You lost. This is now about the scope of the remedy,” Xinis shot back, stating that there is nothing left to appeal at this point.

The hearing centered around the Trump administration's failure to comply with a Supreme Court ruling that they "facilitate" the return of Abrego Garcia. It bears mentioning that the administration has already admitted in court that Abrego Garcia was accidentally deported due to an "administrative error."

Ensign tried to argue that the judge should employ a narrow definition of the word "facilitate" and said that the administration would help Abrego return "if he appears at a port of entry or U.S. embassy we will facilitate his return."

Since El Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele has already falsely smeared Abrego Garcia as a "terrorist" and stated that he will not release him from prison, he has no way of reaching a port of entry.

Judge Xinis said that Ensign's argument "flies in the face of the plain meaning of the word.”

"The bottom line is it was a very simple directive. My question, that the high court squarely affirmed I can ask, is what have you done?" she said. "I’ve gotten nothing. I’ve gotten no real response, nor have I gotten any legitimate reason."

"We’re going to move. There will be no tolerance for gamesmanship and grandstanding," she added.

"There are no business hours while we do this – there are going to be two intense weeks of discovery," she stated later.

"Cancel vacation, cancel other appointments. I’m usually pretty good about that in my courtroom, but not this time. It won’t be a convenience issue," she added.

Clearly, Judge Xinis will not rest until Abrego Garcia is returned home to his family. God bless her.

As mentioned before: Andrew Tate is Trump's kind of people. Those like Mr. Garcia who are law abiding are not recognized by Trump. His idea of a good person is how low down and scummy are they.

This is the response I received from John Fetterman, Senator from PA when I wrote to him about my concerns about the elimination of the DOE.

Thank you for reaching out to my office. I appreciate hearing from you.

A high-quality public education must be a bedrock guarantee for every kid in Pennsylvania and across the country, and education in the 21st century must rise to the challenge to meet the diverse needs of all students. As your senator, I’m working every day to support our local schools and hardworking educators to make sure all students in our Commonwealth get the education and support they need to reach their full potential.

It’s just common sense that all students, regardless of their zip code, age, or disability status, should have access to schools, educators, and staff who create a healthy learning and working environment. That’s as true for students in kindergarten as it is for high school kids, college students, and career and technical education students. Not everyone takes the same path, and having more options for students to pursue the path that best suits them – including investing in community colleges and career and technical education – is crucial. We must invest in our public education system and our students, both to strengthen our communities and to maintain America’s global leadership.

Public education is one of the most important things we invest in as a county – and it is now under serious threat from the Trump administration. If we care about working families and supporting the next generation, then we need to stand up and protect public schools. The Department of Education provides critical supports for public education and students of all ages – it fills in funding gaps for low-income public schools, supports students with disabilities, helps make college more affordable, protects students’ civil rights, and levels the playing field for students and families from underserved and rural communities. Gutting the Department won’t help students, parents, or teachers. It will just create chaos while harming our kids, teachers, and public schools.

Today, far too many families struggle to find a good public school for their kids. We’ve got to invest in educational programs that support students and families starting in early childhood. This includes ensuring adequate funding for programs like Head Start, which helps children from birth to age 5 from eligible low-income families access early learning and development services at no cost. I’ve proudly supported robust funding for Head Start, including Early Head Start and Preschool Development Grants, through the federal funding process, and I will continue to fight for our children to have access to these critical programs. This also includes protecting Title I funding to keep resources flowing to schools in vulnerable communities that need it the most.

We should also be doing more to support students with disabilities. That is why I proudly cosponsored the

Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Full Funding Act

and have always supported increased funding for IDEA through the federal funding process. IDEA serves nearly 324,000 Pennsylvania public school students with disabilities by funding special education services at no cost to their family. The federal government has never held up its end of the bargain – this bill would hold the government accountable to get those resources to the students who need it most.

For students who opt to continue their education after high school, I will keep fighting to expand options and to make sure that cost is not a barrier. This work includes investing in career and technical education programs to prepare students for successful and in-demand careers in critical industries. It also means working to make community colleges tuition-free, increasing financial aid sources, and reducing the burden of student loan debt that too many people, of all ages, are experiencing. I was proud cosponsor of the

Pell Grant Preservation and Expansion Act

in the 118th Congress, which would nearly double the maximum Pell Grant award over 6 years, adjust the benefit to keep up with inflation, and protect the program from spending cuts or eligibility changes.

The bottom line is this: a solid education is the key to a solid path for the next generation. Education shouldn’t be a partisan issue. Cutting the Department of Education and carelessly firing staff means cutting investments in our kids and our current and future workforce. We are at a critical point to maintain and expand educational quality and opportunity, and, as your senator, I will do everything I can to protect it for every student in Pennsylvania and across our nation.

Thank you again for contacting me to share your thoughts. Please do not hesitate to reach out in the future about other issues of importance to you. If I can be of assistance, or if you’d like to learn more about my work on behalf of Pennsylvanians and our commonwealth, I encourage you to visit my website,  https://www.fetterman.senate.gov/

He believes in bipartisanship but I am not sure he can accomplish much with this group of repugnicans.

I also wrote to him about Israel since he is a staunch supporter and I am not. I am not anti-semitic, I just find Israel to be land greedy with occupying former Palestine territory much like Putin is doing to Ukraine. I believe there should be 2 sovereign territories but Netanyahu will never allow that to happen, so he needs to go. He is a dictator that is more focused on his own path to glory than what his constituents want.

If we are going to provide arms to Israel, then we also need to arm Ukraine. You can agree to disagree with me but I will not debate this with anyone on here. My opinion is based on what I perceive is the genocide of the Palestinians.

The deportations that are happening to students who have exercised their right to free speech is disgusting and a revenge move on the part of the orange blob. No where in the constitution does it give him the right for revenge. I am hoping we can extract our revenge at the midterms and I intend to hang in there with fingers crossed this will happen. The buffoon needs a comeuppance.

I do agree with what you have to say Betrayal. John Fetterman disappointed me a couple of times but then I have to remember that almost all of the ones I like have done that. I thought Fetterman's answer did sound as though he was 'directly' addressing just the questions you felt deep concern about rather than some rote form of reply from him — so he is definitely back in my good graces.

Maybe it's a good time to say that I often think we get what we expect. In other words, if you don't believe Democrats are strong or capable and able to achieve good results, you will tend to "notice" strongly those things that may not turn out well. It is just well to remember that happens on both sides and that it is better for good opportunities to work out well if you keep that kind of picture in front of you. It is a choice in realities. We know the reality is that we don't always win but just DON'T present that picture. Just easily know but put up the winning easily picture instead. This is sort of on the order of you are what you eat, or if you want to be a winner, don't keep drifting to the picture that shows a loser.

Just my philosophy and it is not at all new. I have had it for many yrs. now and through several presidencies. I have as many insecurities about the future as anyone but I'm not going to spend too much time bringing them forward. I might say I don't like something and even that I'm worried which I will be, but I'm not going to talk much about losing because it is not a good picture. I'm going to magnify wins not loses. It helps me from sinking too far in the wrong direction. I am not a loser.

I ran into a former student who is now the sole caretaker of his mom who had a stroke. Her income was $5.00 over the limit to get any government help. What a horrible country we are!!

There is a conspiracy theory going around that Kilmar Abrego Garcia died in detention, and the refusal to bring him home him is a ploy to cover it up. It would help explain why both the US's and El Salvador's conspiratorial presidents are resisting. Our buffoon doesn't want to have to admit he screwed up by letting a citizen be deported, and theirs doesn't want to admit that his gulag has already claimed its first fatality.

I hope it is just that, a conspiracy and not really true, but I've felt concern about it and even more when the two fellows (neither is much of a leader) met at the White House. I just still have trouble calling people like they are presidents.

I recall Trump talking at one time about shithole countries (doesn't have much to do with what you put in Miriandra) and I'm thinking now he is fast making us one of those. But it is the reason I cannot look upon Trump or so many of those he admires and hobnobs easily with by the labels we have always given to the highest offices here and elsewhere.

Nancy Mace is as dumb as a box of rocks. Her bias prevents her from being humane on any level. She has this demeanor that breaches being rabid. Ugly woman when she is on one of her warpaths.

Sigh. Rain here and gray and going to go on for a few days. GRRR My political outlook will be just as gray and wholly un-appealing. I am begin, after hearing it for a bit now just what may be the truth about Mr. Garcia. It is being mentioned in more than one place that both men (El Salvador and U.S.) are claiming they cannot do anything about Mr. Garcia and perhaps he is no longer alive which neither guy would want to have to admit.

I so hope that is wrong and that the two men only decided to present the same dialog so as to keep up their status quo - El Salvador gets to keep getting paid for housing Mr. Garcia and the other gets to strut for what he thinks people here want him to do.

At same time I'm hearing that the Trump numbers are down to -22. Independents in particular (which is mainly the middle) are just totally dissatisfied and the tendency will hopefully continue on a downward direction. At present there is nothing I'm aware of or can see that would make it go the other way. Stock market numbers not so good on closing yesterday. Things like that will certainly keep the Trump numbers down and he will face more aversion to anything he wants to do. He is generally pissing off everyone and only the most extreme Maga are still ok with him. He is losing some of his Maga support I do believe but not sure how much we may hear. There have been some willing to say, but I'm really interested in how many may still be un-willing to state where they are.

Much of this is just my viewpoint which I am holding for now. Have to remain somewhat flexible since we are going through things that were unimaginable just a short time ago.
