Where are those "I'm a Nasty Woman" T-shirts when we need 'em?

"Nasty"-- I love it! I bet even KH finds it laughable! DH has so little room to talk about ANYBODY this way--he's the sleaziest of the sleazy and seems to delight in being sleazy.....his comments fall flat or come out hilarious...I would love it if one time he'd slip and say something like, "She is so unladylike!"

He wouldn’t know a lady if he raped one. Oh wait...........

This week dh and I took a day trip up through northeast Ohio weaving over the Pennsylvania border and back, through the Youngstown area and almost up to Eriie—basically Trump country. While I made no mention of the scattered Trump/Pence yard signs along the way, we both burst out laughing when we drove past this sign as dh read it out loud. It was very prominently displayed on the edge of a yard right alongside the road. It was even dh's idea to turn around to get a snapshot of it.

Really great people have a curious feeling that the greatness is not in them, but through them. And they see something divine in every other person.

I listened to him again...didn't he also pronounce "inheritance" inherence...?
Sheesh......

Love the memes above. I think Trump is having a difficult time often now with pronouncing words. Someone keeps letting him go out to a podium and he gets to show himself, but it seems to be they are all taking something of a chance. He is it seems so consumed with looking bad and then trying to fix it that most of the time he just continues to make it worse. Well, what can you do with an incompetent total narcissist. That person is a law unto themselves -- they don't hear no, and they especially seem unable to hear or understand NO, you shouldn't.
He is owing up to the most damning things along the way -- saying he won't give money to the post office because then they would be able to process mail-in voting ballots and the only 'good' one are absentee ones so he just isn't going to let them have the money for the main-in ones. Just remarkable how up front MENTAL things are getting.

Driving the Day
INSIDE THE WHITE HOUSE'S COVID-19 ALTERNATE REALITY — For much of the U.S., a brutal pandemic summer marked by testing delays and spiking cases is quickly giving way to a fall full of disappointment, as schools remain shuttered and colleges cancel their fall sports.
Yet inside the White House, Trump's top political aides are increasingly assured about their response — and feeling like they're finally getting a handle on how to fight the disease, POLITICO's Nancy Cook and Adam Cancryn report.
— White House officials besieged by months of criticism and grim news have latched onto signs of progress. That includes optimism that new therapeutics and vaccines are in the offing, and relief that Trump himself has begun wearing a mask and shown renewed interest in driving the response.
— Top officials have also sidelined the administration's more cautious voices. A new, smaller group now meets separately from the coronavirus task force — concentrating more decision-making power with key aides like Jared Kushner, Deborah Birx, Adam Boehler, Brad Smith and Stephen Miller.
That unit also includes Scott Atlas, a neuroradiologist and new senior adviser who has backed reopening schools and downplayed the virus' threat. Left out, though, are many of the administration's top health officials, including Anthony Fauci.
— Yet the gap between White House optimism and the nation's reality is only growing wider. Trump's July campaign to fully reopen schools has collapsed, there's no new strategy to turn the tide of the pandemic in the coming months, and some officials question whether the administration has lost the thread.
"I don't feel like they even know what the goal is," one senior White House official said.
— Meanwhile: KAMALA HARRIS hammers Trump over pandemic response. Harris didn't mince words in her first speech as a vice presidential candidate, casting Trump as a failed leader and signaling that the campaign will focus extensively on his management of the Covid-19 crisis. "When other countries are following the science, Trump pushed miracle cures he saw on Fox News," Harris said.
TRUMP MAKES LAST-DITCH EFFORT ON SCHOOL REOPENINGS — The Trump administration is now planning to send 125 million reusable masks to school districts and deploy CDC teams to assist reopenings, POLITICO's Nicole Gaudiano reports.
But new White House guidelines for schools are still short on details, and key funding to help prepare classrooms for in-person learning remains hung up in Congress. Negotiations over that next coronavirus relief package could drag into September, with many school districts in the meantime opting to begin the fall partially or fully virtual.
SO YOU'VE GOT A VACCINE. NOW WHAT? — The federal government has secured access to several potential coronavirus vaccines even before it knows whether any are viable. But if the gamble pays off, the U.S. will face another immediate challenge: How to make the hundreds of millions of doses the country will need.
That large-scale distribution is riddled with pitfalls, POLITICO's Zachary Brennan reports, from supply bottlenecks to questions around never-before-used technology and the reality that some of the vaccines would require two doses per person, and therefore double the manufacturing need. It's a critical step that officials are still trying to puzzle out.
— The government's orders already dwarf the typical production demand. The Trump administration's Operation Warp Speed wants to deliver 300 million doses of a vaccine by January. By contrast, the CDC distributed about 175 million doses of flu vaccine during the 2019-20 flu season. That's prompted some companies to contract outside manufacturers to help.
— Any vaccine will also require large amounts of raw materials and supplies. That includes glass vials, stoppers and needles — items that are specialized and in some cases made by only a handful of companies. Experts are also keeping an eye on the supply of adjuvants, or chemicals that can be used to boost a vaccine's immune response.
— The wild card: Moderna and Pfizer's vaccine candidates. The two are relying on messenger RNA technology never before approved for wide use. The vaccines would also need to be kept at extremely cold temperatures, complicating their transportation and storage.

Well that just makes a mouthful of everything that is right with the two important picks for the Democrats right now.

ROFLMAO about the Pence meme. The rest of these are really great as well but I would pay to see his head explode!
The Philadelphia zoo had a monkey island at one time and the monkey's favorite thing was to sucker people in to crowding up to the fence and then lobbing their poop at them. So that meme unearthed an old memory.
The Rosa Parks one struck a chord as well. May she RIP knowing that her actions resonate even now. I am sure DJT is having fits about her nomination and she can dish out at a more intelligent level than he can ever hope to achieve.
Loved Hillary's response to the blonde dipshit legal eagle for DJT. She is a disgrace to all educated women with her subservience to DJT.

The monkey poop meme brings back some very unpleasant memories for me as well.
Monkeys hate light colored eyes. It makes them go insane. They race around their enclosures, screaming and flinging poop everywhere. I have really light green eyes. I can't get with thirty feet of the monkey or ape enclosures before they start going bonkers. I've had more monkey poop thrown in my direction than I care to admit.
It's a good thing I don't like zoos. Otherwise I'd be totally out of luck.

Some people call Trump supporters a- - kissers, but I when I can get away with it, I call them d- - - lickers.

Trishyla: It could be far worse. A friend and her BF were visiting the zoo and observing a lion. The BF yelled "watch" and as she turned to see what he meant, the lion peed on her. She was more mad about the BF saying he didn't want her to ride in his car!
Haven't liked zoos since I was fortunate enough to visit Africa for several safaris. I do applaud them for their efforts in preventing the extinction of some rare animals but not for caging them. wprse I saw was elephant enclosure in NO which was so small they could barely turn around so they mindlessly rocked in place. Cruel. Elephants in the wild roam for 16-18 hours per day.

That's what did it for me as well, Betrayal. Seeing the elephant's neurotic rocking at the San Diego zoo made me cry. It was heartbreaking. And they're considered a world class zoo. Can't imagine how awful it must be in less reputable facilities.

Trump is such a fucking fool.. I just listened to today's "update" and he started by criticizing Biden, saying how Biden is "plagiarizing" by planning to do what Trump sez he's already done.....not only is it questionable--as is everything--that T has done what he's saying he's done, but how is what Biden plans a plagiarizing of that? Then he slams Biden for politicizing covid matters which he says should be above such things when he's JUST DONE THAT!!!

Anaanda. I could not agree more. I had heard ( one way or the other we all have ) a couple of other references although it struck me at the time and since I can give so little credit to Trump, I have forgotten them. They were recent though. I think he or someone around him, or even maybe in the news -- alerted people to the fact that whatever Trump accuses others of doing he is actually doing himself. I think he picked up on that and NOW ( the idiot should know better ) thinks he will gain points by trying to present the idea that others want to either steal his good works or emulate him.
People like Biden have NEVER had to emulate anyone. Also, anyone who has been in politics as long as Biden and done as much as he has also has a record of deeds that would swallow Trump whole if listed. I am amused though as is u usual irritated of the pure stupidity of this man....this little baby, who is going to pieces with the thought people will soon know how TRULY imperfect he is and has always been.
As a side note --- I read on the way here that excerpts of Cohen's book are circulating and if Trump knows that he must be sweating bullets. The fly-page is not highly descriptive of just who and where for sure but the it is said those items IN the book would be likely much more forth-coming with information. So, more pressure for the fat orange con and maybe this is causing enough terror to help Trump lash out however and whenever he can. If this keeps up he will be in a straight-jacket dribbling down his chin. Not sure why he thinks he can overcome the things that has taken place just this last yr. With a couple months to go. It would behoove him ( not save him -- especially form New York ) to resign and hope that some of the worst of it cools down for him -- but likely he has been too far gone for too long. He is stupidly relentless in thinking he is so creative that he can really change water into wine -- while he's walking on water. Sigh !!!

SpongeBlobSquareTan would do well to quit and move to Russia, which has no extradition treaty with us, He's already Putin's long-distance bee-yotch, so maybe he could do that 24/7 in person. Or maybe take that untested Sputnik V vaccine...
