I'd love dearly to see it, but the slime just seems to hang on far easier then the other kind.

Ruth, how true is that! Hope Florida voters are paying attention!

Got a NY Times The Morning article about the underuse of Covid treatments. This graph about the use of paxlovid and 2020 election margins, is interesting. No wonder covid deaths continue to be higher in Red states and by unvaccinated.

Who will tell whether one happy moment of love or the joy of breathing or walking on a bright morning and smelling the fresh air is not worth all the suffering and effort that life implies?

Insurance truth. DDs homeowner insurance had a 5k increase. Mine went up too but not that much. Neither of us can afford flood insurance. Not in flood zones either.0 -
Jackie, none of your memes from a few pages back are posting--I just see the little blue "?" box inside a vast white space. Your text is posting, as are everyone else's memes. This site has been misbehaving like crazy--had to re-log-in twice in an hour (the second time after a long post in the "Older" thread disappeared without a trace).

Jackie - I'm receiving all the memes.

I’m receiving them too

When you find yourself in a frustrating situation repeatedly, instead of fighting it or asking why this always seems to happen, try asking yourself, "What am I supposed to be learning here?" You may be surprised at the answers that come from within you. Life's lessons may be viewed as difficulties or challenges to be overcome, but in reality they are exercises in fine-tuning that will make our efforts more effective in the long run. We are developing skills, attitudes, and perspectives that we need to move forward with insight and awareness. -Gail Pursell Elliott

Thanks minustwo and JKL2017. I was going to stop using memes, but it sounds like some burp perhaps on Sandy's end. I hope it decides to normalize. I have had similar ( sometimes huge belches rather than burps ) in my equipment -- one took place just now. I mis-spelled a word and my spell checker is back after a long rest. Hope it decides to hang with me from now on. I was always so good at spelling -- until stroke and BC. Often, I don't even SEE the mis-spelling and only catch it much later on.

No doubt about that.

As usual though, his followers are so dysfunctional they don't even ask or care that he has hung out to dry (or thrown under the bus) those who stood by him. They all should have listened to Michael Cohen, but guess they were far too busy being loyal Trumpers.

I do keep hearing that most of his latest rallies have been rather small. Wondering if it is partly by design. Perhaps only the most loyal can be counted on to ' cheer ' him when cheering is needed. I have heard as well that even some of the smaller crowds -- hearing the same refrain and his need to get even from as far back as his first run ( Russia hoax ) for presidency, get bored and walk out.
It is likely the only thing that stands out to me about his group. How they can revel in something so very STALE and outdated to the max.
