Was driving back home today, when I saw a spy balloon, until I realized it was a bird poo on my windshield.

I think he already used up his ability to do the right thing -- and mainly because at the time there was no way for him to get away with doing the wrong thing, since he had designs even back then of stepping up to run for igh ofc. when the time came. Just another disgusting sanctimonious opportunist from the right who also thinks Christianity will promote him to go where he doesn't belong.

This just excites me! What I especially loved about hearing this news is that it was my dh who told me about this morning! I love that he knew I’d want to know. (We’ve seen several air shows on the east coast and the skill: wow, just wow.)

Divine, I just came on here to post that very same picture!!

Yipee for the fly girls. I do think ,for the most part, if it is something worth doing, most females can do it. You can thank for Dh for me too Divine.

Love the memes. Seems to be balloons turning up in numbers now. One commentator said that likely we are looking for them more since the big one over the Carolinas that was passed off as a weather baloon.. That is possible. We have all had sattellite capabilities but it seems China wants a bit of a more in-depth look it seems. Well, I expect suddenly we will quit seeing these things.

BRAZEN: Trump simply hid $600,000 report showing his election claims were false

Asking Republicans: Trump Or DeSantis?Donald Trump knows that his claims to have won the 2020 presidential election are untrue, and he knew it even back when he was urging his MAGA followers to come to Washington DC on January 6th, 2021 when it would "be wild."
That is an inescapable conclusion from an exclusive report published in The Washington Post on Saturday that details the fact that the Trump campaign suppressed the results of a study they commissioned to prove the election was stolen from Trump that never came close to the results that the disgraced loser wanted to hear.
According to The Washington Post's reporting, right after the election results became apparent, the Trump campaign paid more than $600,000 to East Bay Dispute and Advisory, a subsidiary company of the Berkeley Research Group, to hire researchers to examine the results of the 2020 elections in six states that Trump had won in 2016, but that Biden carried on 2020.
The researchers were tasked with finding fraud and irregularities in the election results from Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, and Nevada, including malfunctions of voting machines and ballot counters, voting by people who were no longer alive, or any other evidence that could prove that it was Donald Trump who actually won the election.
The investigative mission was spread out among about a dozen people at the research firm and included econometricians who could model the outcome of any irregularities to determine whether they would have changed the results of the election in each state.
"'They looked at everything: change of addresses, illegal immigrants, ballot harvesting, people voting twice, machines being tampered with, ballots that were sent to vacant addresses that were returned and voted,' said a person familiar with the work who, like others, spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe private research and meetings. 'Literally anything you could think of. Voter turnout anomalies, date of birth anomalies, whether dead people voted. If there was anything under the sun that could be thought of, they looked at it,'" The Washington Post reported.
In the end, the results of the researchers' efforts did not come close to proving what Trump was saying at the time — and continues to claim without a shred of evidence — that he was the rightful winner of those states' electoral votes.
"While the researchers believed there were voting anomalies and unusual data patterns in a few states, along with some instances in which laws may have been skirted, they did not believe the anomalies were significant enough to make a difference in who won the election," the newspaper revealed.
Trump's claims of voting machines that had been rigged or hacked and of massive numbers of deceased voters were all discredited by the researchers as well.
"Just like any election, there are always errors, omissions and irregularities. It was nowhere close enough to what they wanted to prove, and it actually went in both directions," said one person with knowledge of the results of the investigation.
The findings of the researchers were presented by senior officials from Berkeley Research Group to then-still-president Trump — along with a group that included his chief of Staff Mark Meadows — on a conference call in December of 2020.
"Meadows showed skepticism of the findings and continued to maintain that Trump won. Trump also continued to say he won the election. The call grew contentious, people with knowledge of the meeting said."
Faced with facts, Trump and his lackeys simply denied the reality staring them in the face.
When contacted by The Post to give a comment about Trump's reaction to their presentation, a spokesperson for Berkeley Research Group said:
"Our experts provide independent and objective factual analysis and as a matter of firm policy, we do not comment on client engagements or on privileged and confidential matters."
The investigation conducted by the House Select Committee into the January 6th insurrection largely inspired by Trump's false claims of a stolen election discovered that many people had told Trump that he lost the election to Biden legitimately.
Now we know that his campaign spent over half a million dollars to prove otherwise and suppressed the findings of the researchers when they couldn't prove what he wanted them to.
Let's hope that Special Counsel Jack Smith can get a hold of a copy of the report from the Berkeley Research Group.
