    Well, I think the news is going to be filled with back and forth bickering and fighting between Trump and DeSantis from now till candidate time. The two are loving having the spotlight on themselves as they spar with each other. And it is all for show. It’s really a bromance of sorts. They want the media to cover them and this is the way to do it. The media licks it up, they report all the back and forth because it gets ratings. The friggin media is a big part of the problem.

    Yes, the Sistine Chapel ceiling will be the next thing they attack. We have had this happen in the past when male parts were covered with clam shells and women's breasts were covered with veils. The puritans live on in the GOP. Next they will be reenacting the Salem witch hunts.

    Divine, you are so right about the media. I know part of it is the 'instant' news we can have now -- watching things as they happen. Still I yearn for the REAL newspeople like Walter Cronkite (dating myself here) and Tom Brokaw, Peter Jennings, and Jane Pauley, and Connie Chung. They were about accuracy in reporting and now it is ratings only. If truth is sacrificed, no matter as long as the good ratings show up. I wish there were a way to reverse it, but I've no idea how it could happen at this point.
