I am glad to hear the latest developments. It will mean absolutely nothing to Trump's fanbase. Isn't that pitiful? But we are accustomed to nothing making a dent in their bizarre, unbreakable belief in him. Do you think anyone is still on the fence about him? I think everyone has made up their minds. It's either gung-ho all the way in support of anything he says or does, regardless of any of his actions, or a big fat “no way". I don't think there's middle ground with him. Even if he shot the proverbial person in the middle of Fifth Avenue, the. MAGA maniacs would say it was the far left's fault and politically motivated.

Even if he’s found guilty, the most trump could get is 4 years in jail. I’m not optimistic that he’ll be convicted and if convicted, he won’t get any jail time. John Edwards wascharged with the same crime - campaign finance violation. Edwards gave $1M to his pregnant mistress to keep her quiet. Of course, he wasn’t an ex-president, just the top candidate running for President. And his wife was battling BC at the time. Edwards was acquitted, but his presidential aspirations were sunk.
I still think Trump could get the GQP presidential nomination, but think he’d lose to Biden or any other democratic candidate.

We are in for some interesting times. Rachel Maddow was on ( this is likely one of the few things that could get her in her chair on a Thursday night) and she said that we likely will end up finding it all rather boring because in fact, most of these things are. I think that is likely so since I know there are lots of moving parts to all of this. Also, we are always bombarded with cable 24 hr. news which was my earlier reference. The Loon gets to 'enjoy' once more taking center stage over almost anything.
It sounds like MAGA has re-awakened to an extent. I too think there is no one actually on the fence anymore about the Loon and hasn't been for a good long while. I also think we are going to be treated to all those who will try now to 'aide' their savior/hero. There really isn't enough of them. But I do think they are going to make as much noise as possible. The Loon people will not listen to truth or care to hear it, but they are a minority which is why any and all destructive and dark measures have to be enabled by the Loon and company.
Then there is the truth and I'm convinced that most of the people want truth and justice over the Loon's death and destruction.

Reading Trump’s Twitter tweet shows me how far gone he is. I don’t think that many people are up in arms about his indictment. Many people have moved on with their lives and are not so gung ho on going out to protest against his being arrested. Sure, there will be some, but we have a Democratic President who has the power to use force if anything major would disrupt, unlike the January 6th attempted coup on the Capital.
I do agree with AOC’s comments about the Republican party and how Trump amplified so much hatred for so many. What a total fuckup he is.

Love the Obama meme-- not only never needing a lawyer but both he and Michelle had enough class for three people each at least. Must have been difficult after their 8 yrs. of very diligent work and care to give the reins over to someone like the Loon. It is amazing in the extreme to me that ANYONE even came close to thinking the Loon would grown into the job.
