AMAZING: George Conway gave the PERFECT response to GOP Senator Marsha Blackburn after she implied the Biden administration orchestrated the Titanic sub search to distract from GOP investigations. In a tweet, Blackburn wrote:“If the U.S. Navy suspected that the Titan Submersible imploded just hours after it began its voyage, why did the Coast Guard wait until Thursday—the same day the IRS whistleblowers testified before Congress—to make their announcement to the public?”Not only was Blackburn’s tweet ridiculous, she received a community note clarifying that the Navy did share the information with the Coast Guard, and it was not definitive. George Conway used the tweet to question the IQ level of some of our lawmakers.
“I think we need to institute some kind of minimum IQ level for United States Senators. It doesn’t have to be very high, or even 100—it just needs to be enough to preclude brainlessness like this.”Thank you George Conway!
These days I think George is right. Maybe we need IQ tests for House members and presidential candidates too. And civics exams. That would eliminate many of the current GOP Representatives.

This reminds me that I watched the last episode of the Bright & Shiny People; taking over the political system, particularly the courts is all part of their plan.

Re: Amy Coney Barrett and her corruption - I graduated from the same college she went to. When I was there, the administration was fairly conservative, but the faculty and student body leant more liberal. Now it seems the administration has started to catch up with the students and their worldviews. When they were asked for a statement on her appointment (and all the associated scandal), they basically said, "We are happy for the successes of all our alumnae". They didn't gush about how proud they were for her achievement or how much she deserved the position. They carefully and blandly distanced themselves from her while still offering neutral support.

I will be generous with my love today. I will sprinkle compliments
and uplifting words everywhere I go. I will do this knowing that
my words are like seeds and when they fall on fertile soil, a
reflection of those seeds will grow into something greater.

Doing pretty good so far with it, but I feel sorry for those in Fla. who are not on board with Scott and half-wit DeSantis as well.

I think he might go but maybe not long enough, but I think you could get almost the same result taking all his money away from him. If he was broke 6 mos. would feel like forever.

THIS IS TOO PERFECT:
Kevin McCarthy was just humiliated for calling it a “grave injustice” for Trump to be charged with violating the Espionage Act……now that Trump was caught on tape violating the Espionage Act. When Trump was indicted, McCarthy wrote:“I, and every American who believes in the rule of law, stand with President Trump against this grave injustice.”Now that tapes of Trump were released, Democratic candidate John Burrows was quick to remind McCarthy what he was defending:“What the entire country heard last night was tantamount to Donald Trump admitting that he violated the Espionage Act. And you defended him. That makes you complicit.”
Burrows continued:“You didn’t condemn his crimes. You didn’t speak out against his behavior. You know why, sir? You’re a coward.”DAMNNNNNN!Is it just me, or do we need more powerful young Democrats like John Burrows in Congress to hold cowardly Kevin McCarthy accountable?

Free will is not the liberty to do whatever one likes, but the power of doing whatever one sees ought to be done, even in the face of otherwise overwhelming impulses. There lies freedom indeed. -George MacDonald

BREAKING: Donald Trump is asked directly to his face if there are "any other recordings" that Americans "should be concerned" about and his stammering response sets off immediate alarm bells.
The telling encounter started out with Trump being asked if he's concerned about hearing his own voice on the damning classified documents tapes obtained and released by CNN.
"My own voice was fine. What did I say wrong on those recordings? I didn't even see the recording," said Trump. "All I know is I did nothing wrong."
He then tried to bizarrely imply that the presence of paper rustling on the recording somehow exonerates him.
"We had a lot papers... A lot of papers. Stacked up! In fact, you could hear the rustle of the paper and nobody said I did anything wrong," claimed Trump. "Other than the fake news which of course is Fox too."
"Are there any other recordings that we should be concerned of?" Trump was then asked.
"I don't know of any recordings that you should be concerned with because I don't do things wrong. I do things right. I'm a legitimate person," insisted Trump.
Notice the crucial detail? Trump didn't say that there are no other recordings just that he just doesn't know of any. His wording leaves wide open the possibility that he was secretly recorded while admitting to other crimes — something he apparently loves to do.
If so, there could be more juicy tapes in store right around the corner...0 -

Please spread this: The Loon has foot and mouth disease. Every time he opens his mouth, it is to change feet! He seemingly trips over his tongue. It is incurable since he can't keep his trap shut. Perhaps injecting bleach or drinking Jim Jones koolaid would be a potential cure? Just hoping he tries it.

Love the memes. It is an interesting thing to be somewhat enamored with Liz Cheney. I well recall feeling a whole lot of suspicion and dislike for her dad when he served with Dubya. Like many, never in a million yrs. but then the Loon came along and she went into a lot of agreement with us as to his destructiveness.
We will be in trouble again if the Reps. and their party get over Trumpism.

Emotions give life texture and depth, but there's an art to managing our moods. Once we cultivate inner balance we can immerse ourselves fully in every experience without fear of going overboard. When we're conversant with our emotions, we learn to nurture positive feelings and defuse disturbing ones.
