I came to this thread tonight to mention Ohio ISSUE 1 passed, tho I see IllinoisLady has spread the good word! My Ohio county had more no votes for the issue, but overall, Ohio voters in favor of women’s reproductive rights prevailed, and I am grateful.

It's officially a BLUE WAVE tonight!

For the past month the entire media has been telling us 24/7 that President Joe Biden and the Democratic Party are in serious trouble in the 2024 election. The media has used everything from fake narratives to fake polls to sell this story, in an attempt at ginning up ratings and playing into the "both sides" camp.

But a funny thing happened tonight: the Democratic Party ended up sweeping every high profile election that was expected to be competitive. The Democrats won the Kentucky race for Governor. The Democrats won the Ohio constitutional question on abortion. The Democrats won the majority in the Virginia Senate. These were the big focuses going into Election Night 2023, and the Democrats won them all. There's a term for that: BLUE WAVE.

We're now seeing history repeating in remarkable fashion. Leading up to the 2022 elections, the entire media chased ratings by insisting that the Democrats were in huge trouble. But by the time Election Night 2022 came around, the Democrats over-performed in historic fashion in House races and expanded their Senate majority. Now the media has once again spent the month before the 2023 election insisting the Democrats were in huge trouble, only for the Democrats to win big.

That's because elections aren't won by people who stare at their screens. Elections are decided by people who vote, by people who help register others to vote, by people who donate to competitive campaigns, by people who phone bank for competitive candidates, and even by people who simply retweet the competitive candidates' donation links and such.

Let's keep this in mind heading into 2024. Tonight's results make clear that if the 2024 election were held tomorrow, there's little doubt that the Democrats would win the presidency, the House, and the Senate. But a year is a long time. There will be plenty thrown our way, and victory is never a given. Elections are won by those who make an effort to win them. Our side keeps making a smart and concerted effort to win, which is why we keep winning – in 2020, 2022, and now 2023. And when I say "our side" I mean you. Thank you to those of you who made an effort. Let's do it again in 2024 and win elections with even bigger stakes:

This was from Palmer Reports. Down below it were links to send donations. I'm sure anyone who wishes to DONATE to any Democrat will at the proper time, so I left that part out.

Obviously, I hope when elections do take place that we have one of the biggest waves ever. A year is a long time, but somehow, I can't see much good in the next few months, and I think the Reps. are so far off track if they started last week, I'm not positive they could get it done. Still, I did learn to never say never so I'll just say I've not lost hope ever while admitting it dimmed pretty much a few times.

I'm so glad to hear that Issue 1 passed in Ohio. I lived there for over 30 years and I've been distressed at how conservative it's become. A great step forward!

Gratitude is one of the great positive emotions because it creates magnetism. A magnet is that which draws things to itself; therefore, by giving heartfelt thanks for all the good we now have, through the magnetism that gratitude creates, we will start attracting more good into our daily life. -Elaine Hibbard

Ruth — I adored the pic/meme of Hillary and the popcorn. She has never backed down. I still feel she would have made a fabulous president, while still thinking that the Reps. would have been every bit as relentless towards her as they have been with Biden. Maybe even in some ways more since they are so twisted where females are concerned and so afraid of strong women.

    Deserved too. Grifters extraordinaire.

It's really not helping him now and his time is coming. In fact, he's so far gone that he and those he enlists as his enablers are going to (my opinion only) to help him totally get deep fried. It has been a long time coming and hard to watch him walk around free as a bird, but who on this earth would be honestly happy to trade places with him — if they are sane. It has taken the better part of a lifetime — but it is almost here now.

Weird how Democrats outperformed tonight while Biden is supposedly "historically unpopular."

A lot of fakery going on by the Reps. and as well by a lot of the media for their ratings. Not to say it hasn't seemed to have more influence over some of the Democrats. This is really why we have a VP. But, we need to root out the material that is meant to get us in an uproar.

BREAKING: Ivanka Trump testifies under oath, throws her husband Jared Kushner under at the Trump Organization’s $250 fraud trial in New York.

While being questioned by prosecutors from Attorney General Letitia James’ office, Ivanka Trump threw Kushner to the wolves, admitting under oath that it was Kushner himself who introduced her to the Deutsche Bank banker who helped Donald Trump and the Trump Organization commit financial fraud by inflating Trump’s assets in order to secure fraudulent loans for its Miami Doral gold course, the Old Post Office in D.C., as well as a large property in Chicago.

This is devastating news not only for the Trump Organization, but for her own husband Jared Kushner, which she just exposed to criminal liability for helping Trump and the Trump family business commit rampant fraud with her devastating testimony.

    Tick-tock, Jared Kushner…

I had read sometime back that their marriage was not as rosy, pink as if often seemed while they were in the WH together. Then again, while trouble could be easy, I also think there was no way for her to look good unless she really had SOMEONE to try and push under the bus she looked to be under. Sorry Jared, but your a grifter too. You know — the family that stays together, plays together. I'll be waiting to see what comes next with you and Vanke.

BREAKING: Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is hit with MORE devastating election news as the pro-Trump hate group Moms for Liberty loses EVERY SINGLE election in five of the six states where it ran its candidates.

But it gets WORSE for Trump and Moms for Liberty…

In Pennsylvania alone, ALL five of its candidates were defeated last night after running on a platform or banning books that teach students about slavery and LGBTQ+ inclusion — and it wasn’t even close. Democratic candidates swept every single election.

In Virginia, three Moms for Liberty school board candidates candidates got swept by even larger margins.

In Iowa, a whopping NINE Moms for Liberty candidates lost their races after accusing local school districts of “disseminating pornography to children” simply for having two books that discuss LGBTQ+ acceptance.

In Minnesota, all four Moms for Liberty candidates got wiped out by their Democratic opponents. In North Carolina, their only candidate also suffered a stinging defeat.

    Well done, voters!

    Looks here says it all.

I’m happy to see Ohio saved abortion rights. I suppose my Catholic outlaws up there aren’t happy phooey on them and I was also glad to see that Ohio legalized recreational weed. I have an MJ card here in Florida don’t use much but it helps and I was real glad to see Virginia went blue, all they need to do is get get rid of that Butthead governor they got
