We had family visit, and they asked to go to the Meow Wolf in Denver. We had an incredible time, and the artists and design teams showed such incredible creativity. Two specific bits were of particular note: a room in Numina of crocheted fungal eye-stalks dangling from the ceiling, and this bra hanging out to dry on C-Street.

There is no physician like cheerful thought for dissipating the ills of the body; there is no comforter to compare with good will for dispersing the shadows of grief and sorrow. To live continually in thoughts of ill will, cynicism, suspicion, and envy, is to be confined in a self-made prison hole. But to think well of all, to be cheerful with all, to patiently learn to find the good in all—such unselfish thoughts are the very portals of happiness; and to dwell day by day in thoughts of peace toward every creature will bring abounding peace to their possessor. James Allen

Amazing, isn't it, how some people see the basket half empty and others see it half full?  Some see life hopeless, others hopeful.  Even when things are less than perfect, if you can think of the good, the beautiful, the hopeful, you'll be more than sustained-- you'll conquer.

Ruth, exactly why I have such respect for Tammie Duckworth. She cuts to the chase and just leaves all the stupidity and ignorance behind — leaving only the bare bones truth for us to feel. So much does not matter in this life, but it can sue cause confusions, upsets and the ability to drag attention away from where it really should be.

Keep up the good work. Sen. Duckworth. Just as aside — she is from my home state of Illinois.

A Democratic House Majority is getting closer and closer. Republicans lost one more House Member.

BREAKING: Donald Trump gets some very bad news ahead of the 2024 election as a new poll reveals what Americans really think about his deadly January 6th insurrection.

The results don't paint a pretty picture for MAGA...

According to a newly released Washington Post-University of Maryland poll, a majority of Americans believe that the Capitol riot was a "attack on democracy that should never be forgotten." 55% held this view.

37% said that Trump bears "a great deal" of responsibility for the deadly siege and 16% sayid that he bears a "good amount" of the responsibility.

Unfortunately, 43% of Americans absurdly said that "too much is being made" about the insurrection and that it's "time to move on." Clearly, the chunk of this country that supports MAGA fascism wants to downplay January 6th.

Luckily for democracy, we have them outnumbered.

Fox — the love to lie and live to lie people. Hope they lose a lot more viewers and money.

What was wanted all along and definitely happened in Texas. Glad she was able to do what she needed to by going elsewhere. Too many can't.

What they bragged about before — because they didn't need 'American' money. How interesting — now we don't need you people either. Perhaps we could spring for one-way tickets to Russia for you though.
