Great memes/points, Ruth. Especially as the big IMMUNITY hearing was this morning. Apparently lasted over an hour. The three-judge panel wondered I think if they should even be hearing it now. Usually, it seems after a trial and not before. I wouldn't know anything about that.
Anyway, they didn't seem that inclined to go along with the Loon and his lawyers and others. I don't find that surprising since in my mind it has always been open and shut. Break the law be ready for what comes after you are caught red-handed. Of course, I'm sure the Loon's lawyers don't feel nearly as much of a traitor as the Loon is, but they are. Shame on anyone doing their best to subvert the Constitution.
I remain so sick of him and am understandably eager to see a trial actually start on the 4th. with Judge Chutkan. I long to go back to the days when politics now and then could be a mite boring. No more. For all the yrs. of the Loon, especially where he has managed to turn loose all the brain dead and spineless GOP, it has been a chronic Hell. I had no idea that many people could be brainwashed and used. I hope it is not too long for thse judges to figure how they are going to rule for this immunity.
The Loon has managed to make a mockery of us, our Constitution and keep life chaotic for far too many decent democracy loving people. We are all so tired of it.

All I can say with the latest installments of the Loon — his lawyers (etc. John Sauer) should be so embarrassed going before a circuit panel with the idiot immunity pleas that were presented. It is hard for me to conceive that anyone who has passed a bar exam could think their presentation was even close to viable. I'm not a lawyer though and have to thin they saw some thing even if it was the slimmest chance possible.
I still say shame on them for abusing the legal profession that way.
