At times, old choices--old threads--wear out. We see the past while we live in the present, and we can replace the old...with new ideas, new choices, and new actions. We can view the future through today's eyes, and time blends all experiences, dark and light, into an awareness of authentic joy. Was sitting having coffee this a.m. thinking ye Gods, here we are facing another desperate election. The 2020 election was to be the telling and highly needful one. That bad dream we have all had to put up with just refuses to go away. Rather than 2020, turns out that 2024 is even more important.
I do think this one will indeed be the turning point. And that does make it the most important one. But it really did have its huge moments of irritation for me as I listened to the news. I just get tired of the constant drumbeats of the Loon. Partly because it IS him and partly because the media still magnifies everything he does as though he knows what he is doing.
He is making a mockery of our court and just as much his lawyers. Many of them seem to have passed reason some time back and aren't any longer acquainted with their or the Loon's oath, as they sound more and more like the Loon daily. If anyone hires those two (Habba and Kise) after this is over good luck and good riddance to the lot. They will all deserve each other.
I will worry till we get there, and I will worry when we are there because the Reps. don't care about anything but staying in power and that's a dangerous thing. They lie, cheat, and steal — but I hope it proves the disaster it seems often that it could be.

Oh so peaceful, eh?? Sorry the Reps, who want to buy this are okay with their willful stupidity, but it is all the more irritating to know how many will overlook this and act like the rest of the world doesn't notice they are monumental enablers.

Ruth, I think the Dr. is right. Because we are what is going on — just that some of us seem to revel in it while others are repulsed.
And it is not who we want ourselves and others to be for sure. Voting in the next election can hopefully start the process of changing that.
As Democrats often I think we bend over a bit too far backwards in fairness. Comer and good ole' you can count on me GYM who ignored HIS subpoena want to (along with other Reps) put Hunter on the chopping block for not showing for the subpoena he was given. And send it to DOJ to enforce. How rich from good ole' GYM. Ignoring of course, that Hunter is fine with going to their hearing as long as its public.
I think the Reps. think they are getting somewhere with these antics. I don't think they will come close to ending up where they are apparently seeing themselves right now. I'd love to see us do what it would take to pretty much put a stop to ALL the Reps. heathens that are a part of our government today. Who needs em !!!
