If he obeyed the law he wouldn't have to be in court, and a bit of a footnote, this goes for you too.

I hope none of us, nor anyone we know, will ever have to endure rape or attempted rape. But, there are a few anatomy facts that might be reassuring.
If you can lift a dictionary single-handed, you have enough arm strength to rip off a man's testicles.
If a penis is cut off a man's body while erect, there is so much blood in the erectile tissues that he will bleed out in less than five minutes.
Sleep well, boys.

Miriandra — loved both your entries — especially the first.

Real wealth does not depend on worldly status or a bank balance.
It is available in the sweeping cloud formations above you, the soft
grass under your bare feet, the light in your children’s eyes, and
your funny cat. If we could realize the depth and extent of the gifts
we have already been given, we would attain heights of ecstasy
that collecting stuff will never achieve.

Oh, the memes here are out of this world today! I liked the religion t shirt and will send the photo to my son. Very clever! I hope other two time Trump voters have the same realization how bad he is and will not vote for him. And hopefully they vote for Biden.
The meme about all the Republicans who have verbally said Trump’s a con artist and crook yet still back him is yet another way the good old boy network continues to thrive. Doesn’t matter that the man broke laws. He is exhalted and forgiven. What a disgrace. The Harvard psychiatrist and Doonsbury comic speak volumes. These Maga people turn a blind eye. They truly don’t care.

Re: the internet question making the rounds: The question, originally asked by Screenshot HQ in a TikTok viewed 13.5 million times so far, is this: Would you rather be stuck in a forest with a man or a bear?
Here’s one response: "I was asking my sister-in-law about this. She was like, 'You know, I would rather be a bear because if the bear attacks me, and I make it out of the woods, everybody’s gonna believe me and have sympathy for me. But if a man attacks me and I make it out, I’m gonna spend my whole life trying to get people to believe me and have sympathy for me.' And that left me speechless."
And of course, when the question is changed to “would you rather be stuck in the forest with a bear or a woman?” hands down, the answer is “a woman”.
Sobering.
The questions reminded me of a social media post I saw a few weeks ago:

The message in these memes is so profound. I think we should teach women the words to the song "I am woman, hear me roar" and that it is okay to ROAR!
I am woman, hear me roar
In numbers too big to ignore
And I know too much to go back an' pretend
'Cause I've heard it all before
And I've been down there on the floor
And no one's ever gonna keep me down againYes, I am wise
But it's wisdom born of pain
Yes, I've paid the price
But look how much I've gained
If I have to, I can do anything
I am strong (strong)
I am invincible (invincible)I am woman
You can bend but never break me
'Cause it only serves to make me
More determined to achieve my final goal
And I come back even stronger
Not a novice any longer
'Cause you've deepened the conviction in my soulYes, I am wise
But it's wisdom born of painYes, I've paid the price
But look how much I've gained
If I have to, I can do anything
I am strong (strong)
I am invincible (invincible)
I am womanI am woman, watch me grow
See me standing toe to toe
As I spread my lovin' arms across the land
But I'm still a little embryo
With such a long, long way to go
Until I make my brother understandOh yes, I am wise
But it's wisdom born of painYes, I've paid the price
But look how much I've gained
If I have to, I can face anything
I am strong (strong)
I am invincible (invincible)I am woman
I am woman
I am invincible
I am strong
I am woman
I am invincible
I am strong
I am woman
I am womanThank you Helen Reddy for singing this song.

Oh, nooooo, Betrayal! You posted that Helen Reddy song that shall not be named. It's a great song, but I just can't ever listen to it. A little background. When I was 16, we went to see a taping of Midnight Special. We were a captive audience, sitting on the floor and not allowed to leave the studio for six plus hours. Wolfman Jack was amazing, but the musical guest was, you guessed it, Helen Reddy. We had to listen to this song and Delta Dawn over and over and over for six hours straight. I absolutely loath both songs. Even fifty years later it still brings back bad memories of sitting on a cold, hard floor and being so hungry and having to pee. Not a happy memory.

Sounds like all-day Yom Kippur services, trishyla!
To add to the "Comparative Religion" t-shirt (from the printout I'd posted on my fridge door nearly 20 yrs ago):
Unitarianism: Let us search for the shit within us all.
Episcopalianism: Our shit is the best!
Zen: What is the sound of shit happening?
LDS: Everyone gets their own planet where eternal shit happens.
Calvinism: Shit only happens to others.
Agnosticism: Do we really know if shit happens?
Pentecostalism: sh[[[uwttprrpgghh….
Scientology: Shit won't happen if you keep giving us money.
Revelationism: After the Apocalypse, we'll be raptured up and away from shit.

Sorry for that negative experience you had trishla, but I have always loved Helen Reddy and her music. I also have to feel that anything that will encourage the expressions of strength, knowledge, honesty and fidelity to who and what we are will help us to overcome all the trials and roadblocks that have been used on females.
So too all the fantastic memes that Divine put in are just the best reinforcement as well. Left up to men we would be back in the 1800's. Something I'm far from willing to have happen. Hooked by the very first one which was what we are labeled.
