I’m having the same issue with low ferritin.
My hemoglobin has gone to my normal but it’s consider low and but within the normal range. I do not eat red meat but eat fish and poultry. Did you ever get an answer jons_girl ?0 -
I have had two iron infusions. My iron seems to be doing better but slowly going down i think again. When it gets below 100 I will watch it. And eventually get another iron infusion if I need one. My medical oncologist dr who is also a hematologist, said there are studies showing your iron should be 100 or above.

I’m concerned because mine seems to be going down since I was diagnosed. I never had this problem before

well I think as I get older low iron is becoming more of a issue. But seemed to get worse post dx of cancer. I was dx just prior to menopause. So I’m not loosing blood monthly either….

Thank you for your quick response. I was diagnosed with 3 years ago and every ache or change in my body makes me fear mets.
I feel I can’t trust my body anymore.

Thanks for posting your experience. I've been complaining about exhaustion for a year and MO finally ran an iron panel. Low normal ferriten and B12. Start monthly iron infusions and B12 injections in two weeks, with oral B12 to supplement. Hope you've both been doing well since your posts last May.

My iron seems to have climbed up along with my hemoglobin. Still not at the levels prior to to bc but Dr doesn’t seem concerned and feels it’s my new normal.
