    Hi @justforher, and welcome to Breastcancer.org!

    We're so sorry for the reasons that bring you here, but we're so glad you've found us. You're sure to find our amazing community a wonderful source of advice, information, encouragement, and support — we're all here for you!

    Do you happen to know how many of your lymph nodes tested positive for cancer cells? In addition, do you know how the lymph node status has been classified (isolated, micrometastasis, macrometastasis, or extracapsular)? That information will be available in your pathology report and will be helpful in determining course of treatment. You can read more about lymph node status here and what it means if your axillary lymph nodes test positive here.

    Do you happen to know what your treatment plan is going to be so we can help connect you to others in a similar situation?

    We're sure others will be by soon to weigh in with their lobular carcinoma experiences. Let us know if you need anything from us at all.

  • Hi! It says "Left Axillar lymph nodes in the size of 2,5 cm and 2 cm".

    This is my treatment plan;

    First, chemo… 12 times.

    Then surgery, and this is the surgical plan:
    Left mastectomy, oncoplastic reconstruction
    Lef axillary sentinal lymph node sampling

    After that: Left axillary radiotherapy

    Thank you for that info, @justforher! Do you know which chemotherapy regimen you'll be having and when you'll be starting?

  • I only know the timing.

    That is a start @justforher! We encourage you to join our January 2026 Chemo Support thread so you can discuss with others how your treatment is going and support others also.

    In addition, you may find our free virtual support groups a great place to join to get real-time support as you make your way through treatment — here is the schedule and registration links for our 2 weekly groups: https://www.breastcancer.org/community/virtual-meetups#section-in-treatment-for-breast-cancer

    We hope you'll join us!
