19 years later - reccurence in supraclavicular lymph
19 years ago (43YO) - DCIS, Uni Mastectomy, no further treatments
Now - Postmenopausal (3 years), swollen supraclavicular lymph node (same side as initial mast), PET scan also found 2 other lymph nodes - intramammary at 2nd rib, and mediastinal node (near spine and heart).
ER+, PR+, HER2-
Dr says it is a unique situation due to the length of time between 1st and 2nd occurrences, and the metasteses locations.
Dr recommends: Tamoxifen, Ribociclib, plus radiaton consult.
Curious if anyone has had similar situation and how they are being treated?

Hi mammacheese
DCIS for me was a mastectomy then reoccurance after 5 years
Treatment differs depending Site and type
It is a pesky micro metetastatic lurker in my lung mostly right
Now 11 years in treatment and still stable disease
My blood is tested each month for CA 15 cancer marker as I am esterogen positive and I have CT scan every 3- 6 months
Started on letrozole and moved through the 3 standard options hormone lowering drugs with combo of new treatments as there are many new ones .Total of 7 years for this regime
Am Determined to stay active as some issues with feet firsttime in morining and am retired and not overweight is important also
Some new drugs have caused Caused lung issues so had to stop and start another .Then had chemo tablets 3 years ago
Last year my CA 15 cancer marker rose to 153 .…started Caylex chemo infusions and markers have dropped to 23 which is normal🫠 best news so travel plans a must
Still fit and just back from. Overseas trip to Orkney
All best with starting treatment
Cheers Brightspace
