Dorkathea - I been looking around for Stella's shoe, but hab not seen it yet...I'm dwiving into town again today so will look in the bushes and on the roof tops, but maybe will be hard to see wif all this snow on it. May have to wait till spwing. I hope da pwetty ting didn't get runned over by da snow plow. Congrats on getting 3 morts approved - hurray, hurray! And hope yer power stays on. Oh, I foygot to tell you one of my CEs was on Financing Residential RE and I had to loyn so many little details about VA FHA Conventional Loans, oye vey, now I can foyget it all cuz you know it all! As for looking at boobs, I remember when I was widdle and just starting to get nubs and then I noticed women's boobs...I tink it's normal to look...also I look at old people and feel jealous cuz I wunner if I'll get old. I am so proud of you for getting in to see your PS. You gave me courage to call my doc for a check up and also to call and get a cost estimate for ovary removal. Just typing dis makes me wanna puke and pass out.

All you have been through would make me very anxious too...your fears are completely normal and I'm glad you have some xanax on hand to cut it if you need to. That's part of why I keep some ativan so I know if I get a bad case of anxiecr*pity I had it redilly available. Hang in there! I was having melt downs where I really could not catch my breath, it was so so so scary and I'm sorry yours are awful and combined with asthma, just must be awful and I'm praying it calms down soon. Well, I'm off to town. Had a horrible night due to DH all upset about the economy and he was in a horrid mood. A really nice house on acreage has gone into foreclosure and FNMA dropped the price again...so hurts the values in the neighborhood. Really looking forward to Ruby Twosday's and Fixer Uppers at Pau Hana. I may get a pineapple to bonk DH over the head with too (j/k). It is really sunny and pretty on Hoth today so I'm looking forward to driving alone and I'm going to buy me some new make up and dwinkie ingredients.

NM - Glad you filed a complaint. WTF with these docs anyway. I understand your fear, I truly do, and the anxiety that goes with it. I haven't figured out what to do when that fears spreads with me. Even meditation and prayer does nothing for it, so I'm of no help to you as far as stopping them. YOU ARE NOT...I repeat..ARE NOT a wimp, whiner, crazy, etc. What's happening to you can happen to any of us and the fact that you are posting instead of wallowing says U R STRONG! I will pray extra long and hard that those 'blebs' are an easy fix and NOT what your dreading. Keep us posted. Lub lub lub ewes lots lots lots!!!

Oh shoot NM, I hear ya about being scared, and I'm so sorry your feelings were just tossed aside as if they mean nothing. We as BC survivors shouldn't have panic attacks, we should know better. Ooooh, that just pisses me off more than anything. I'm glad, for the sake of your sanity, you were able to move things up. Sending up prayers for you love. I read similar stuff on my CT a few years ago and FREAKED out as well. YAY for you, for putting in that complaint. Maybe we should send Stella over there? Glad you are keeping busy.

((((((((((((((((((((((((((NM)))))))))))))))))))))))...shame on that ER doc.....so what if it was anxiety...it is a real Dx and it was intereferring with your breathing.....that is itself enough to warrant Tx....I had a reaction to an antihistamine that I had taken before....no longer take any antihistamines (too afraid)...and I think it was part anxiety attack too........and I went to urgent care....they did chest exray and EKG.....all came out normal...I pretty sure it was after Dx.....and thankfully they did not try to make me feel crazy.......No doctor should treat a patient like he treated you.....how about filing a complaint with the licensing board as well....

NM I am disgusted with the treatment or non treatment the you recieved at the ER! That doc's attutude was truly appalling! Now, PUT THOSE SCANS/EXRAYS DOWN!! Yes I know you are in the trade so to speak but you are not a doc nor a radiologist so please wait for their expert opinions before you go into a tail spin. I understand your fear but take it from me that worrying yourself silly over possibilities takes all the joy out of the now..........one day at a time is the best way to live with and enjoy life with BC no matter what stage you are. Dotty I have worn my Maryjanes so much that I have almost worn them out! They are soooo comfy! I think of all you girls often and often wish I could return to the USA to catch up once again.
Alli, the surgery date is March 30th and I will be admitted at 12.30pm. I have yet to be told what time surgery is but I'm thinking probably about 2.00pm. I'm looking forward to all of you arriving in the UFO and waiting for me in the room when I get back from recovery.
Beans please keep us up to date with how you get on at the doc's and I sure hope that it turns out to be ok.

It's been a rainy cold day here today it almost seems like mid winter.......there has been a twenty degree celcius drop in temperature over the last two days and it feels freezing!.....Brrrrrrrrr! Mornin' Loungettes. Countin' down time to my appointment, didn't sleep worth beans last night. Some of it is the effect of the prednisone, I know, but this is getting very old very fast. Frankly, I'm just plain tired of being tired, too.
Scuby--thanks for dropping the f-bomb on the doc for me, it does help!
Beanie--I've managed to stay off the xanax so far, but it's getting close and close to my giving in and taking one. All I need is some doc thinking that I'm drugged up as well as crazy. Your poor DH sounds like he's having a really hard time with the economy thing. It seems to be getting to everyone lately.
Mema--glad you are recovered from Oscar night! I will keep you up to date on what I find out. And sometime soon I've got to start my tax work, too. Gotta get my life back together somehow, somehow.
Goldie--I'm holding on really hard to the "it's probably ok" thought, praying it gets me through the morning. I'm not sure that anything will come from the complaint, but at least I've tried.

OK, gang, back from my appointment. Seems most of my current anxiety/insomnia/craziness etc is a side effect of the megadoses of steroids that I've been getting. Tapering down the dose, got instructions to take the xanax 3 x day for the next 2 to 3 days, see my PCP again Friday. The bleb in the lung base is just a small "blow out" from coughing so hard for so long. Everyone who is overweight has a fatty liver. Other lab work ruled out a blood clot in my lungs so the subotimal test is irrelevent. I feel better. I am going to go crash and sleep for a while now.

Thank God, NM....and taking the xanax for 2-3 days will surely help. So glad there is nothing major to worry about (except for that stupid rude annoying ER dr)! Hope you are sleeping well right now, and will get a lot of rest so you can get tea-totally well. Thanx so much for letting us know!

Well goils, we are under a tornado watch, I guess the warnings will come later tonight. SO sad all the deaths, injuries, and destruction in those other states overnight. Hope you weren't affected Allison! I hope Junie's DH was not affected either, as I think they were less than an hr from Branson. So far I heard about horrible tornadoes in Missouri and Illinois, but Kanas might have been affected too, or other areas? Been away all day, so not caught up yet, but just devastating. We have had the high winds all day, and could get the bad weather anytime.

Oh thank for all the prayers for my cousin as she finally got her results and they got it all with the lumpectomy and all nodes were clear so it is Rads and Tamoxifen for her........phew!!! I'm so glad for her that the results were pretty good.

Well girls, tomorrow I see my PS. I've been waiting for this day since before I was diagnosed! Hell, I've been wanting new boobs for 20 years..........and yet for some reason, I totally crashed and got real depressed over tomorrows appt this afternoon. I'm such a goofball. My poor family is like "I thought this was the part you were excited about??!!" Can't explain it.....just really down about it. Perhaps I'll be better after actually meeting him, hope so.
For now, I'm gonna drink the blues away! Who's here to help?

Karen, "A 24 hour urine"??? That one is new to me! Yeah, my mom has been moving her stuff back ever since she remarried my dad 8 yrs ago and paid a ton to have movers move almost everything over to HI....even furniture and her car. So everytime they come, they bring 5-6 pcs of checked luggage, and have 2 carry-ons. And she had her car sent back here last year. The dr took her off the statin drug, and I also heard on the news that they now think it can ruin your memory! She is doing very well, and ea time thinks they might stay longer than 2-3 mo, but today she mentioned something about getting to stay for a whole month. WTH? I tried to get her to remember that they always stay longer than that, and since I will be gone for about 10 days in less than a month, I would hate for them to go back early!
Jaybird, are you stopping in every so often? I should give you my schedule...have a 4 hr stop in Paris on the way home, and just found out we can use the Business class lounges....yippeeeeeee! Hope you and Avery are doing great.

TieDye, Wish I could stay and dwink wid ya, but I gotta go night-night. Sorry you got so down today, but that is totally normal. Even though you want this, it was not your choice to get bc, and even if we think we are on top of it, every so often it rears its ugly head and gets us all upset. Hope you will feel better when you see the PS. Hope you really like him and trust him, IF NOT, then find another one. You need to feel like he is very competent and will do the best for you.
