Tidy, so good to see you and hear that you are feeling good. Sure hoping it continues, after your chemo. Pictures are really quite easy, but they have to be on the internet, you can't just take them from your computer. So any picture you google, or any from Facebook, or if you have like a photobucket or Picasa account. Then you just copy and paste them into your post. Do you know how to copy/paste? I did not know you were old enough to have a grand, I thought you wuz a youngin.

My parents got here safely, and am hoping they are sleeping now, as they didn't on the plane, and that is over 9 hrs just on the one from HI to ATL, then to fly here. They had 2 HEAVY carry-ons, and 5 checked bags....2 of those were extremely heavy! No telling what they brought....my mom keeps trying to move things over here! But they look good, and my mom is excited about us painting together again!

I'm doing okay, got the new glasses arriving on Thursday so I will be able to see again.....yay!!!! Surgery date for the knee is drawing ever closer and I'm starting to get a little ansy but I will be okay. All the paperwork is done so the only things left are the pre-op bloods and and ECG which will be done the week of the surgery................and then comes the post-op PT and getting back on my feet!!! The best thing about all of this is that there will be no more pain in that knee......YAY!!!! It will be one down and one to go.....lol. Time to stop talking and start drinking.................I think I'll start with one of Lorrie's Apple martini's, they sound yummmmmmmmm!

Thank you all for your nice comments on my bootiful Bootie! I love her hair cut. She always just pulled it back into a pony tail. She used to have beautiful, thick, long hair, but abused so bad, that it became very thin, as you can see.

Mornin' Loungettes. Been a hard few days, wound up going back to the ER Saturday struggling to breathe. The ER doc said I was having a panic attack and didn't need to be there, I was just another cancer patient that was overreacting a little cough. It was a very horrible and scary few hours--they called in a crisis worker to "deal with" the anxiety. I'm not saying that anxiety wasn't part of what was going on, I know it was. I just wish the doc could have had enough time to stand still and tell me what was going on and why he thought it wasn't another asthma attack. It would have been really good if he could have not said the chest x-ray was normal and then tell me I need to see pulmonologist about a "bleb" on the chest x-ray. So now everyone is going to think I'm crazy on top of everything else. And I'm thinking the "bleb" (which is a fancy way of saying "a thing") is probably a met. I truly do not know how much more of this kind of stuff I can handle. Thank God I see my counselor tomorrow. And since everything is apparently all in my head maybe if I pretend everything is "normal" all the fear will just go away. . . .

I was just reading through the CT report. The ER doc said there was nothing abnormal. The report says "There is likely a small bleb in the posterior right lung base." "Visualized portions of the upper abdomen demonstrate a fatty liver which is enlarged." "there is a cyst in the upper pole of the right kidney." "There are degenerative changes of the spine." While the nurse part of me knows that most of this is not serious and probably just aging related the bc survivor part of me is terrified. I got my appointment with my PCP moved up to tomorrow, hoping she can help me figure out how to deal with all this. I am so scared.

NM, OMG you have had such a hard time lately. Doesn't that stupid dr know that panic attacks are REAL and can get you in distress???? I hate what you have been going through. And a "bleb" on the chest xray? I hope you can get that checked out asap! Don't need more things to worry about. Panic attacks are horrid....my DD had started those (although we didn't know what it was at the time) on our trip to Madeira. Of course not only was our plane hours late leaving LIsbon to return home, but halfway across the Atlantic, we had engine probs and had to turn back! My DD had not eaten the day before, and was so freaking out. We sat next to a dr, who kept trying to get the stewardess to let her off the plane early (we were by first class, but in coach), but of course they had TWO doors, and they would not let her go thru first class! SO we were last to get off. She couldn't eat while we had to stay overnight, then the hours long flights the next day to come home. SO scary!!! I can really identify with what you were experiencing and it is totally scary and totally real. I sure hope you have a good week without any more scares!!!! We all lubs ya and missed you so much. And now you put your funny cartoons and addressed everyone....don't know how you do all that!
