Had a weeeeellllyyyy gwate time wif DD at da spa taday. She bought...early mommies day pwesent since mese always tell her I don't wan nufin. Wese was pampered by Colt and Troy...mese...o mise....dey was berry ez on da i's too. But den, more ladies come in want der pampering...soo...we had ta settle for a dunk in da mineral pool, den da regular pool, den wese ordered lunch from room service. Had it delivered right to da spa pool....ahhh...da life.

Shabbat dinner is made and finish cooking.....just need to cook the green and yellow beans and peas....and cut up peppers, cucumbers and a few other veggies....reading posts while drinking cabernet and eating bbq potato chips...DD and DH will be home from synagogue in about 1/2 hour...this time of year they do an earlier Shabbat service....candle lighting is just before they get home...still need to clean up the kitchen....so best get going...wishing everyone a good Friday night and Saturday....Hugs...

I spent the afternoon with 30 high school choir kids going to district music contest, including DS. Band and show choir and soloists were already there, so I brought the last bunch. About 100 kids all together. They got a "1", which is the highest score and they were the last group to perform. Got home about 8:30. The accompanist told me she "just loved" my son because he is so polite. Nice to hear and he seemed proud when I told him.
At noon when I was at the elementary, a first grader accidently pulled the fire alarm. Of course it was lunch time, kids at recess, teachers eating, no one in their regiular places AND the principal was gone. Until we could identify location of alarm, kids had to wait outside. Fire department (volunteer) was not there yet, but fortunately we were able to find the place where it was and the kid who did it so we could call off the firemen! As head of crisis/safety team, I had to pretend I knew what to do. Luckily I did (mostly) although I usually have a principal in charge and we got back inside within about 15 minutes. Good thing it was a nice day. YIKES. Soooo glad it's Friday.
It's DH's birthday but he went to see a hockey game with DD's while I was with the choir. He'll be home soon so better get my card and gift ready. In the meantime, I'm catching up on Days of Our Lives again and hoping Beau wakes from his coma and Stefano doesn't destroy Marlena and John. Ha ha!

Bernie, that fart joke is soooo funny! I think we ALL can identify with that....except when my DH farts, he tries to blame it on the dogs....even if they are outside! What I hate most of all, is on long flights when someone in front of you farts....over and over. Aaarrgghhhhh....it is SO disgusting and you are stuck and can't leave. That has happened a lot lately....dunno why people can be so rude.

Well shoot after being so darn tired all day yesterday, yawning constantly....could I sleep last night? NOOOOO. So finally at 5:30 ayem I took a xanax, and was able to sleep for a bit. What gives??? PLUS I was very dizzzy all night. Gonna twy to take it ez today. Tomorrow ayem I am taking my mom to a flower arranging class (just at Pottery Barn), and we can do a little shopping too. BUT toodey mese tinks mese shud take it a bit e-z. Of course I will HAVE to dwink some of the pwetty DOTD's though!! And will be rooting for Alli, on her walk! Hope the weather is pwetty there, it is very pwetty here, but COLD....was 80 yesterday, and supposed to have highs in the 60's the next coupla deys.

Hi girls! We are heading home now. What a great day! When we got in town last night, went straight to my friend Lori's aunt Phyliss's house. Phyllis was diagnosed a month after me, triple positive. She had her first hair cut yesterday, and was excited about the walk. Her and her DH made us an awesome dinner, then we went to our hotel room. Had to get up @ 5:30 this am, and when we pulled up at the race @6:45, couldn't believe the amount of people! Phyllis and I walked with the survivors in the opening ceremonies, which was very cool. Stella behaved herself the whole time, and I can't wait until I get home to post the pictures we took. Just left Bob Evans, had the steak and eggs :-) and headed home. Thunder over Louisville is tonight, and we have to drive over the bridge on the way home, so hoping we catch a little of the air show, but not so much traffic. BTW, it was soooooooo cold this morning! 42 degrees with a windchill in the thirties! Brrrrrrrrr! Will post pics later.

Thank you all for the comments on my gift from Mema, I was so touched when I opened it. Thank you again Sue. Well, I had so much fun with our company. The children were such a joy to have. Both boys,3 and 7 months. The nice thing, the baby wasn't afraid of me, so I got to hold and play with him a lot. But my back is paying for it today! This morning we can hear this sorta chirping noise, every few minutes, but can't figure out for the life of us, where it is coming from! Hoping to spend most of the day outside today.
