We got couple inches of snow yesterday, it mixed with sleet. Supposed to get dumped on with more tonight into tomorrow

It just started snowing here again (3pm), so I was able to get to my pilates class & take a dog walk before the storm started. It's supposed to snow all the way into tomorrow afternoon…..so we shall see.

Hi Everyone,
Badger- Thank you for reminding me how much I like Disco. I added Donna Summer, Gloria Gaynor and Bee Gees to my playlist! These songs brought me back to my childhood, dancing with my mom in our living room :))) Wishing everyone a lovely holiday.

I think I will be dancing in my living room too! And shoveling snow, here is what we woke up to.

Been doing housework and Easter dinner prep since we are doing Easter dinner tonight because of him working tomorrow

We didn’t get snow here in southwest WI but it’s been raining for days. April showers bring May flowers.
Gym yesterday, farmers market & errands today, Easter dinner at MIL’s tomorrow. She had a turkey breast in the freezer so we’re having Thanksgiving menu. I made whole-berry cranberry sauce and will bring the ingredients for strawberry shortcake for dessert.
roslynvaz, I like those artists, too! Some of my faves on my mix tape are: Le Freak, Shake Your Groove Thing, Disco Inferno, and Funkytown. I should get something more modern than my Walkman but I have all these great cassettes. And, no one really cares, right?

Happy Passover, Happy Easter everyone
Got to church this a.m., then went to my mom's AL for lunch with her and sister, DH and I are just finishing up our dinner…it has been a long day, but all boxes checked! Job well done!
DH and I walked to our downtown for dinner, so got 40 minutes of walking.
Happy start to the week for all. TT

We had a relaxing Easter. Now, it's back to the normal routine. I'm off to Zumba in a couple minutes. HIT tonight.

Hi and hope everyone had a fantastic holiday weekend. Ruth, I cannot believe all the snow you got!
We had a whirlwind weekend. DS and granddaughter came home for 2 nights. Friday night we had Easter dinner. Saturday morning DD and grandson came over for Easter brunch. In the afternoon they all left to go to a friend's house for an Easter egg hunt. I was able to sneak in a walk while they were away. Had leftovers for supper Saturday night.
Ds and granddaughter left early Sunday morning and I kept nursery at church. It rained for most of the day, the house was quiet, and I rested!

LIFT this morning, Core tonight, at the dentist's office waiting for a cleaning right now.

We had a lovely Easter. Everyone enjoyed the turkey dinner. Why do we only eat it once a year at Thanksgiving?
Gym yesterday but skipped today as I’m under two weeks and work is freaking out. Sorry not sorry LOL.
Ruth, did you see the story about Hershey’s not using real chocolate? Of course, I thought of you. 🤯

If I buy chocolate (which is rare), I buy the expensive 'real' candies. The ones on the shelf don't even taste good.

Happy late Easter wishes…mine was hectic and good all at the same time.
Went for a nice walk on Easter and then got to the gym Monday and Tuesday. After a spurt in the low 80's we have cooled off enough that I wore a puffer jacket this morning. Happy Wednesday! TT

The state health has declared today 'Stroll 'n Roll Across ND' day; where you take a picture of your walk & hash tag their site. Here's the Wednesday Walking Women's entree (where we are celebrating both the outdoor & indoor options).

Nice pic, Ruth, and no coats! Early spring in ND.
It’s warm-ish but rainy today so I would have walked but hit the gym instead. It’s nice being able to get there in early afternoon before the after-work crowd.

I'm enjoying the cooler weather this week. Feels fabulous.
Yesterday I took the afternoon off from babysitting Little Baby. Dh took over the duties and all went well. I meet my friends and we played Mahjong for several hours. Then I came home for a quick walk and grocery shopping.
Dh and I are tag teaming our babysitting duties. Today I had a hair appointment so dh was in charge. I have been doing the morning routine while dh sleeps in so I don't feel guilty having my outings. So far it has been working out!

HIT, dog walk, Dance2fit!
It's good that you & DH are tag teaming the sitter duties, Wonderland! It would be hard if you could never have a break!

I was thinking the same Ruth…is the baby detail going to go on until the baby is 6 months or so and can go to a daycare? That seems to be the case for folks in my town. Very limited availability for the littlest of ones.
Got to the gym last night and will go at lunchtime today, so that makes 4 gyms plus walking this week.
Great WWW picture, can't believe you were outside in just t-shirts! Your gym looks amazing!
Happy weekend all, TT

Getting the dining room ready for my kitchen table. Hope to have it all out of storage by end of next week. Took down a few crates to storage of decorations we wont need until later in the year and brought up two of the chairs that go with the table. They were filthy dusty so I cleaned them up with dish soap and warm water. Started sweeping the dining room floor so I can mopping the dining room for when the table and the rest of the chairs will be here. Yesterday was sweep and mop the kitchen, clean the bathroom and sweep and mop that floor.

Finally, an afternoon without rain. Got out for a walk.

Cute sign!
Finally a beautiful, sunny, not windy day! I went to Pilates & took two dog walks.

Ruth: Glad you finally have nice weather.
TT: Congrates on going to the gym 4 times this week.
Badger: Love the sign!
m0mmy: Have fun setting up your dining room.
Hi All. We don't have an end date for taking care of little baby. He's 4 months old and we are grateful we can do this. He'll be more mobile at 6 months and that's a whole different ballgame for dh and me. But we'll cross that road when we get there.
Walked last night and pulled weeds for one hour in preparation of what I did today. I had pine needles delivered this morning. Dh kept the baby while I started spreading the needles. I wanted to do something physical and ended up spreading 30 bales. I spend several hours in the yard and my legs are sore! Dh did help with additional bales after DD picked up baby but I did the majority of the work. (Yes, I'm bragging lol) Wanted to get it finished before the heat returns next week.

Good job, Wonderland! Just reading about your yard work makes me tired! You will enjoy this baby story: my niece got a haircut/color scheduled & my sister volunteered to watch her new baby. It was the first time she was going to leave him with ANYONE & my niece texted my sister MULTIPLE times asking if she thought she could handle it! My sister had to reassure her that she was sure that she could keep an infant (who can't get into any trouble yet) alive for two hours! Ha!
It's back to clouds today. We will dog walk & then I really have to get some organizing done around the house. Since DH has a colonoscopy on Monday, I don't have to worry about cooking this weekend!!

Gotta do a little laundry today and a little more organizing in the house.

Badger- Your mention of cassettes brought on a wave of nostalgia. The first time I purchased music for. myself was on cassette. Twisted Sister, We're not gonna take it. Shortly after I was gifted my first walkman and instructed this was the new and only home for my beloved cassette.
Song of the day
Only You, Yazoo

Ruth: It's so hard to leave your baby for the first time. I bet your sister loved every minute of it. Hope dh does just fine tomorrow.
m0mmy: Have fun getting your house organized.
Ros: I don't remember Yazoo and her song Only You. I had to look it up.
Yesterday I spent a couple of hours reorganizing a closet. Today I went to church, walked, then sat on my butt for a 2 hour zoom meeting.

DH survived the colonoscopy & is now home sleeping it off. I will g to Dance2fit Express & HIT tonight.

Badger, i still have all my casettes from my teen years
0 -
We also have cassettes and VHS tapes!
Got to the gym Sunday night and today, Monday, at lunch time.

My first music purchase was a Partridge Family 45 LOL. (David Cassidy was a teen heart throb.) Still have it but can’t play it. We have a stereo system with a record player but I need one of those adapters.
It’s raining (again) which is great for flowers but not for walking outdoors. After work, I started cleaning out dresser drawers and closets. Lost track of time & now I’m starting supper so will skip the gym and call housework my exercise for the day.
