@rlschaller Rhonda, I loved your comment that MBC is the master class that we are all enrolled in. At this point, likely every one of us could write a book about our experience. For those of us who love control, it can be trying to have so little of it.
Glad that you're enjoying your vibration plate and finding it so beneficial. It sounds as though it's both exercise and treatment of one's ailments. A bargain!
Did I miss something; did you have radiation again recently for skin mets or for something else? Hope that all went well and that the radiation did the job. Good that your current chemo regimen is so tolerable. Makes life easier!
@cookie54 Have you been outside walking lately Andrea? Some days I wimp out and say that it's too cold to go out, but that won't be a concern soon.
It's so good for the psyche to have something to look forward to, as must be the case for your daughter's wedding.
Last Friday the doctor told me that the results of the previous week's CT were good. Whew. Yesterday I had a brain MRI to follow-up on the brain radiation from December; they wait three months to check so as to let the radiation continue to do its thing for a while. So one down, one to go. Tomorrow will start the next eribulin cycle; that is, if my low neutrophils meet the required threshold.
Have a good week everyone!

@scgal08 Congrats on a good CT and will pray MRI looks good too!May eribulin continue doing it''s job, fingers crossed and always praying.
I have been enjoying the warmer weather here and walking as much as possible! Sunshine and fresh air are my mental health medicine for sure. Yes I have been waiting, hoping and praying to make it to May without any progression. I plan to take a 2 week chemo break before the wedding to try to feel as good as possible and will scan in late May. I am very grateful that I am in pretty good shape with this diagnosis and Xeloda has kept me stable for some time now.
Good luck tomorrow ..hoping your neutrophils behave themselves!
@rlschaller Hey there lady, how are ya?
Hi to all reading along , hope you have a nice quiet week.

Hi gals, @cookie54 @scgal08 Andrea and Rita so glad to read that everyone is stable and feeling good. 😊 I hope the MRI went well and no new surprises. Love your comment on control, lol.. if only we could.
I love the sunshine and warmer weather, have been out walking more, but then radiation every other day will do it. One more to go on those new Mets that popped up, nipping them in the bud before they become worrisome. I think I’m clear of new surprises, at least this week. Cycle 8 of CMF + K on Wednesday.
Good plan Andrea to take a chemo break before the wedding. Fingers crossed for you that you feel good and can dance up a storm 💐🥰🥳. I think I’ve said this before, but my sons wedding was one of the best days .. I wish you the same.
Happy Easter to all who celebrate ❤️ Rhonda0 -
@rlschaller Cheers to the last radiation, may those mets be gone forever! Glad you're able to get some walking in also. Hope your energy is at a decent level as I know many people are fatigued with radiation. Yes I'm sure it will be one of the best days ever. We're going this morning to be their witness to sign for the marriage license. It's nice to have a happy occasion to cancel out the cancer noise! Have a good week❣️

Morning all, a glorious morning here . Sun is shining and air is cool. Drinking my morning coffee with the cats while DH is still sleeping. Love the quiet start to the day. Just wishing everyone a lovely day. ❤️

Hi all. Dropping in to say hello and hoping that all are well. We're in the middle of a bunch of grey, rainy days here so no time spent outdoors.
@cookie54 Good to hear that you are still continuing along on Xeloda without change. A two-week break from it for your daughter's wedding is a great idea. You should be in fine form for the occasion!
@rlschaller You must be finished your radiation by now Rhonda. That would be a relief. And no new surprises is what we are after!
This is no-chemo week, and not even any medical matters this week either. How can that be? 😉
Wishing all a good evening, and rest of the week.

@scgal08 What a nice week for you, now if we can send you some sunshine. We have been having summer temps here, high 80’s this weet. Think its more seasonal next week so I try to soak up the sun and warmth whenever it’s here! Yes, yesterday was the start of my break and MO agreed to it last week. After the wedding I will be bombarded with appointments, May is always busy for me. I figure I get it out of the way before the start of summer. Enjoy the rest of your week☀️
