I was laughing last night when I had to edit my post and thought of the pejorative toward police officers….had to change from "pork cops" to "pork chops".

Eric, The FDA were the pork cops. It took quite a while for them to realize that commercial pig operations are and have been for quite a while much safer than barnyard pigs as far as disease goes. I preferred pork in some kind of sauce since it didn't dry out with the high safety temperature. DH can no longer eat it so I'll have to wait to try the new moister version.

Wally, You and your DH are in my thoughts.

Dinner tonight was salmon, zucchini and tater tots for DH.

Pork chops for dinner, breaded and cooked in a skillet. Leftover baked beans and leftover broccoli and cauliflower salad. The pork chops were too large for one and not quite large enough for two.

Thanksgiving meal on Mary's deck tonight. She's cooking a turkey and sides. She does this at least once every summer.

Carole, Thanksgiving in June is definitely a change from the usual summer meals.

Dinner tonight was hot chicken salad and oven baked potato. It was cool and raining so it was helpful to have the oven on.

I didn't know that about the FDA. :-)
