    Hi @temerarious - Cheryl,

We’re so sorry for the loss of your friend, that's so sad, and also sorry you’re facing progression and delays in your care. It’s a lot to carry at once. Please take the time you need. The group will be here whenever you’re ready to return.

    Warmly,
    The Mods

Hi @illimae What dose of Enhertu are you currently on?

@chocomousse I think 80% amounts to 4.4. I am currently dealing with increasing neuropathy in my feet mainly, so of mg scans on Monday are good, I’ll ask for another reduction. We’ll see.

@moderators Hi there everyone, Just dropping in to say ive had a rough last 2 weeks although things are kind of starting to settle. I wasn't able to join last week because of yhe trauma of hematoma build up around the surgical site. It was drained that day and again last Thursday and yesterday, Monday. However, I've also been suffering from mind blowing insomnia, accompanied, or most likely caused by horrendous night sweats and hot flashes (are they the same thing??). Not a wink of sleep since Munday Thursday 🥹🥹😭😭. I was going crazy. So i took myself off Arimidex temporarily just to get some sleep. I couldn't help it. So yesterday, for tge 1st time in over one week, sleep hit me early and i woke up at 3am to realise id missed the meeting. I miss you all. I hope to make it next Monday. Love and hugs ❤️💕🫂

Hi @Rosebessie, we certainly missed you at meetup, but at the same time, it's important that you were finally able to catch up on some much-needed sleep! What a rough recovery you've been experiencing. Sending gentle hugs to you. We hope to see you at next Monday's meeting. ❤️

  • Dear all,

I've been attending the 'Younger w/ mBC' group off and on for the past year, but I've not yet posted to this thread, so here I am.

Much gratitude to all of you, and to our heartfelt facilitators.

Here's to making the most of what I often think of as 'life behind the 8-ball'…

Hi all, I’ll be in the road on Monday heading back to Houston but wanted to provide an update. Routine Brain MRI on 6/28 showed mets have “blossomed”, spine MRI on Monday found no evidence of lepto mets but I am scheduled for a lumber puncture next Thursday, then we decide from there, either gamma knife again or whole brain radiation. With my current neuropathy and double vision issues, I am feeling untethered. I’ve had this scare a few times before but I not as confident this time. The spine mri being clear is definitely a good sign but I am having some trouble convincing myself of that. I’ll pop in to the cell if I can, otherwise, I’ll see you all the following Monday. FYI, there’s only a few spots the are new or grew but 2 are near previous radiation sites are a few new one are along the brain stem/spinal column area, which is why they’re digging deeper. Wish me luck 😬
