Just diagnosed, in treatment, or finished treatment for ILC.
Anyone have any experience with doxorubicin? When do symptoms start to come on? Were you able to work while in treatment? How sick did you get? Just looking for any info available. I have been diagnosed since 5/19. Had a lumpectomy and anixilarry dissection. Start Chemo this Thursday, 7/25. Scared and nervous.
I was diagnosed with stage 2A ILC 2/10/25 and can't get an appointment with surgeon until June At that appointment they will refer me to a plastic surgeon for immediate reconstruction after the mastectomy but it will take another 3 months to get in for that consult. I am really nervous because by the time I actually have…
Has anyone developed arthritis after developing bone mets? I have a theory that the anti-hormone treatment has caused arthritics to develop earlier than it should. Arthritis and joint pain are affecting my quality of life much more than the cancer at the moment. It seems to be very hard to get on top of it, along with the…
What a crazy and bizarre diagnosis. Am I the only Pleomorphic here?
Hi, I’m in NZ - stage 4 lobular and looking at the tests that tell you what chemo will work. I’ve done Foundation One which my oncologist recommended. I’ve just found out about the Geonostics Exacta Test - snd the Gradient test I’m confused so just wondering if anyone knows what the differences are - or which one is best.…
Hi, Was hoping for some long term survivor stories. Found so much conflicting information on ILC. Not sure where the truth lies. I know each person is unique but overall hard to find good information on it.
I am wondering anyone with ILC stage 3 diagnosis and made it to 10 year without any recurrence.
I have stage 1 node negative invasive lobular breast cancer. Oncotype score of 9. I met with my radiation oncologist who gave me the option of the 3 week whole breast radiation with 1 week targeted boost (standard of care) or the ultra hypofractioned 1 week whole breast with same 1 week boost. Studies show it is equal in…
Hi everyone, I was diagnosed with invasive lobular breast cancer (ER+/PR+/HER2-) in January 2024. My oncologist says it’s closer to luminal A than B, with a Ki-67 ranging from 10% to 40%. I went through chemo, which reduced my tumor by about 80%, and had a quadrantectomy with clear surgical margins and negative lymph…
I thought I would start a new thread for those DX with ILC. I belong to a wonderful IDC Warrior group here and love it. It is a large group whom I love but I am the only one with ILC. So, feel like I need to get to know some of the women out there dealing with this sneaky lurking dang disease. I dont see nearly as many of…
