Stage 4 with peritoneal carcinamatosis (sp)
After 14 years my cancer came back with a vengeance. I didn't want chemo again but they convinced me to try abema and an aromatase inhibitor. It's not too bad so far. My biggest problem is that I live with a narcissist and I'm tired of fighting for my needs or even my wants. They say this regimen could give me 2-5 years. I…

I will be starting on Gemzar next week. I cannot find any recent postings about this drug. My Oncologist said other than…

Hi everyone, I'm starting a low dose of Enhertu today, been resisting for a while as I'm more than done with hair loss and any more reduction in quality of life. Side effects don't seem to be consistent with most patients I've observed from research, am very trepidatious. Any thoughts? Thanks

Anyone on Piqray?
I’ve been on Ribociclib/Faslodex tx for liver mets since July 2023. Recent MRI indicated several new liver lesions. I’m rather disappointed that the above tx only last 15 months. Going to start Piqray this week. I’m concerned about the side effects of hyperglycemia and diarrhea. could you please share your experience on…

How Many Stage 4 Girls are getting SS disability..
Seems like a lot of stage 4 US citizens are getting Social Security Disability Insurance payments. So lets see how many there are! If you were denied, please comment if it was for medical issues. My understanding is denials are more "not paid in enough" issues than medical. PLEASE TAKE POLL ONCE ONLY!

Afinitor/Aromasin
I am waiting for my pills to arrive and fearful of starting a chemo after almost seven years of anti-hormones. I immediately started looking for info on this site, and the Afinitor topic was started in Jan. 8, 2012 with 35 pages of comments to go through. Do you think it is possible to start a new topic now that this med…

Lynparza/Olaparib Anyone?
I'm looking to share side effects or just any updates on Lynparza / Olaparib. I just started targeted therapy on Jan 12th. Aside from a little heartburn at first (helped with OTC pill), I've now started some daily Immodium, which the pharmacy sent WITH the Lynparza. Lol. I've started to just feel plain odd and very…

MSK will no longer be covered by Anthem Insurance
We just received a letter that my cancer center, Memorial Sloan Kettering, will most likely no longer be covered by our insurance Anthem (Blue Cross Blue Shield) starting January 2025. Is anyone else in the same boat? Has anyone gone through the same experience with their insurance cutting off coverage for their medical…

Difficulty breathing
I was recently diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in my bones- de novo at 41 years old. I have been having difficulty breathing on and off for the past few months. It feels like air hunger - every day, like I just can’t get enough air. They’ve checked me for a blood clot twice now, so that’s not it. It does get worse…

Guardant 360 testing
I didn't see a top for the Guardant testing so I thought I'd start one. Does anyone know what it means when the first Guardant test showed a PIK3CA mutation, and then ten months later, it doesn't show that? I might need to change my treatment if I no longer have this mutation!

After failing Kisqali/aromasin, abraxane and halaven, I’ve now begun my journey with Ixempra. I get treatments once every 3 weeks. Tuesday was my first tx - in between meltdowns (due to report of progression), I slept a lot. Until that night. I was up all night long. I’m sure it was the steroids in the premeds. Wednesday…

Piqray users, what is your experience?
I just started on Piqray and Faslodex after Ibrance and Arimidex stopped being effective. I am weakly ER positive and PR negative, so I can't say it was a complete surprise that at some point that would occcur. I would be interested in hearing from others how you are doing on this very new medication. So far, the only side…

I was just now dx with skin mets
Hi, I've not had good news since forever—since suspected recurrence in August 2023 anyway, looks like I won't be getting any either. I had some red raised places — not bumps, not nodules, that would get red, then go away, etc. that appeared Nov. 23, the same month I was dx with St. IV. PET scan didn't show this. CTs-four…
