    Early Mornin' Ladies,

Lori, what's happening with ur numbers, have u seen ur Onc. about all this---and I always feel bad u live so far from the drs. u need.---Oh I bet ur DH LOVES to hear how u look like his DD, BTW I hope ur DD is still with u there---I'm all confused about dates and stuff, but having her there is always a great comfort, it has to be.

I'm so glad about Dara, she's been waiting for so long for this break. And Jazzy ur nice and busy and I know u have been waiting for that. Good stuff girls and yes I do remember Peppermint Patty from a while ago, and it's always sad to say good-bye to any of us, but thanks so much for letting us know.

Sandi, ur almost done---good for u---it's all a PITA too, but nice when it's over.

U gals know know every so often my body just literally collapses so I end up in an ambulance, with gorgeous tenders tending to me, my numbers are all off and I caught everything going around all at once and end up insane, to them, not to my family of course. Leslie was being operated on and I was on another floor I felt so bad. we couldn't even see each other, but we did talk LOL---Lots of stuff going on, but all boring really, u gals know the drill--but I will say how things start then u know how everything else goes. 8 eyes trying to find me a vein and I wait with jabs and pokes and all blood all over, Oh then I say BTW I have a port, 8 eyes stare, stop and look like they want to put all of their hands on my neck, then 1,2,3 all hooked up, I told them I made them very happy so I wanted to see all smiles, which I did. After 7 days I was home and my sweet Joey sat at my feet and since then message my legs with lotion cuz they are so dry, I'm sorry that kid just warms my heart all the time. They said it would take a couple of weeks to feel better but I'm back at work but using my walker just for now til I get some strength which u all know I'll milk.

Kim waiting for a great Sunday drink, cuz SusyQ sounds pretty good.

    LUBS U ALL

Cami- I am so sorry to hear of all that is going on right now for you and your family. And you and Leslie both being in the hospital at the same time, more than any family should have to deal with.

I am glad you are home now. That Joey is a peach Hug

Good afternoon friends- been a busy week and weekend. I got pulled in late last week on an internal upgrade at the new client site that went in Friday to Sat morning. I had to pull together a readiness review (are we ready?) and help with a few others things. I was on some calls late Friday and into Saturday morning. Everything was going well, but then went south late morning. As a result, they had to pull the change out and still having some restore issues. I have not had to do a lot since but keeping tabs on e-mail and now finishing my status reporting I normally do on Friday's. It was quite a week/weekend. I am glad I get paid by the hour. I did get a nice compliment from the CFO that I bring a lot of professionalism to the work I do and their clients after a big meeting on Friday for my main project!

The balloon fiesta started yesterday as I mentioned and I don't go to the balloon fiesta field as there are up to 100K people in town for this and although they are not all at the same events always, it is a mob scene with parking, shuttles, etc. I have a client site that is next to the location but have not been there since 2016 which is the last time I went there. They had a great launch yesterday, but the front moving in (Goldie posted on FB they got snow in AZ, eek) and so the glow last night and launch today were cancelled. The tech director I work closely with says they have a great view of the balloons floating down from the roof top so I need to plan to be in early a few days this week to see that. This event brings close to $200 million to the economy here (hotels, rental cars, restaurants, etc.) in the ten days this goes on. worked at a winery here once long ago when I first moved here for a PT job and worked the tasting room during that time, and could not believe the cases and cases the balloonists would buy (um, you don't drink & fly do you?)

Dara- when do you start the new job?

Cami- how are you feeling friend

    NM- any foliage yet?

Chi- how did your gig go?

Goldie- tell me more about that snow out there?

Mistyeyes- I am thinking about you and sending much love.

Gotta get back to finishing my status reports and project plan updates. Have a good week ladies Heart

Gig went fine--had to stop and take off my watch at the beginning of a song so I could make the "problem" chord (albeit painfully), we each had a lyrical senior moment. But otherwise the audience was quite entertained--several friends I hadn't seen in years were there. It was my singing partner's birthday, so I surprised him by leading off with "Happy Birthday" with the audience singing along. Logistics worried me no end, as the parking lots were full, but festival staff let me park in the vendor lot, a short walk from the pavilion (and I was able to put all my stuff in a cart). Pretty chilly out, but we were set up in front of the fireplace so I didn't have to keep my coat on over my outfit.

We're having a hodgepodge of food tonight--leftover seared ahi salad with fried wonton noodles, plus the appetizers & hot & sour soup Bob is bringing home from around the corner. (He stayed home today to finish his CME so he won't have to on vacation). With that, we'll have a kabinett riesling from the Rheinpfalz; if we're still hungry enough to eat the leftover pasta we'll switch to chianti.

Good Morning, Loungettes!Back to work Monday after a lazy weekend. Only working 3 days this week. My cousin in coming home for Las Vegas this weekend to run in the local marathon, a bunch of us cousins are going to get together while she's here. Should be an interesting weekend, and lots of fun. Silly Sadie loves the attention she gets when we cousins get together!

    Jazzy--beautiful to watch!

Cammy--sorry to hear you were in the hospital, glad to hear you are home. Make sure you rest up and heal!Oh, my goodness you really do tease those nurses! Glad you had the port, though. How's Leslie feeling? I am praying for all of you.

Jazzy--wow, talk about an exciting week/weekend at work! Foliage here is at peak in the northern part of the state, near peak where I am. Seems like it came on all at once!

Chi--so glad the gig went well! I like the hodgepodge menu, too!

    Hashy Smoke's DOTD:

    Black Monday

    Ingredients

In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine all of the ingredients. Shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass.

Best served in a Cocktail Glass.

NM- because you are a kayaker, I had to share this with you. Balloonists who do this are called "dip and dash" and go up and down along the river. I love the high five with the kayakers, what a video!

Sue, sounds like things are moving along quite well for you. Love and miss you LDB.

Wacko, congrats on that job, sure was a long time coming. Missing pictures of Logan. Please let us know when surgery is.

NM, so glad you found those ticks on Sadie. Does that happen alot? Are any of your cousins staying with you?

Oh dear Cami, a week in the hospital? I hope they got you all bixed up. And more surgery for Les. Aye yi yi! Funny, but not really about the blood draw.

Jazzy, I love the balloon festival. Even with all the people. 200 million, that's awesome. We got more snow yesterday, but it was gone by late afternoon. Fun video on the Rio Grande!

Having an awesome time with my DD. Went to Moab, no camping due to the weather, so we did some glamping at the Homewood Suites. Got a few gorgeous rides in on some new trails. A nice dinner with some awesome friends we have there and towed the toy hauler home. My DD got her plane ticket changed, to add an additional 10 days to her trip. So I will get to see her in MI and spend more time with her and she will be able to attend my nieces wedding. So excited! Not telling family of her extension, going to surprise them! She post bunches of pictures on FB, tagged me in most, but not all, so if you go to her page, you can see more.

Onc wants to change my treatment, but not until we get scans. He gave me a few options to research, but one I can't make out. Can anyone else tell? Ibrance/Letrozole, Verzenio/Letrozole, another one with Letrozole, but I can't make out is writing, it looks like he wrote K=sgali (suggestions anyone), and then Afinitor/Aromasin.

Hope everyone is doing well, I will check back in when I can.

Goldie- I know there are a few Ibrance threads around. Maybe check there to see about the combo drugs? Also, I was on aromosin for the second half of my five years. My MO said it would be easier on my joints and bone health than the anastrazole (that stuff was so hard for me). Not sure if that is helpful to you but thought I would pipe in my thoughts on that AI drug for you. They are making sure you have the best options for your care.

I am glad your DD is visiting. How are things for her in the Caribbean? Long time rebuilding after that hurricane.....

We got some soaking rains last night which was good. Balloons were up today as the skies cleared. There were like 20 of them floating around my house (not from the park but people getting rides).

I hear we may get some of that hurricane coming up from the Gulf Coast. Hurricanes from the south and the west right now. We will take it.

Yikes--a weather roller coaster again. Yesterday it was barely 60, drizzly, windy. Foggy this morning, then made it up to 85. 83 forecast for tomorrow, 71 Wed., then back down into the 40s & 50s for the rest of the week & weekend. Of course, from Sat. through Fri. the 19th I'll be in western MA, which will get Chicago's weather a day & a half late. Worried that by the time we get there the fall colors will be gone and it'll be too chilly & nasty to go hiking. (Maybe the MJ dispensary in Pittsfield or Northampton will be one that just got its recreational sales license and start selling next week--at least if I get too bored I can get stoned...just kidding...maybe).

We'll be at a condo resort in Hancock. Flying into Albany (much closer than Logan) and renting a car, so we can go a bit further afield. Pittsfield is the closest large(ish) town, and Northampton is about an hour away. The dispensary there just got its recreational MJ license last week, but says it'll probably take 2-3 weeks to get non-medical sales up & running...so it looks like any brownies I eat on vacation will be from a bakery.

    Mornin Ladies,

Kim short week this week??? Lucky duck, but I still say u deserve everytime u can get one. I'm sure Sadie likes it.. I watched a little of th video, wow people are either brave or crazy, to me crazy.

Wow Jazzy u are really hitting it busy, but I think u prefer being busy than just hanging around. And besides it doesn't surprise me one bit that ur work gets kudos all the time.

OK Lori what's happening with ur DD, I hope she's still there---my time zone is so screwed up I can't remember when and how long she's staying, well not long enough I'm sure. Lori' how is ur DS doing, ur whole family is always in my mind for u.

Sandy it sounds like everything went well with ur gig the other nite. It felt kind of cool to me but I'm sure u guys get prepared for that weather. How lovely it is to be able to do what u enjoy in ur retirement, it does sound like some work, but so far u've been lucking out with parking and getting ur equipment around.

I think this is one of those no school, no mail but basically everyone works days. It should be everything or nothing days, but I make no rules. But I should.

I was telling u gals how Joey is putting lotion and rubbing my legs at nite, wow--He's a big kid about 5'9" and husky and he sits on th floor and he gently puts lotion on. OH he's getting so old u guys, of course he needs to but soon I feel like he'll barely have time to talk to me. These yrs. have flown by---oh well anyone remember WHEN TIME MARCHES ON

    LUBS U ALL

P.S. I WROTE THIS EARLY THIS MORNING, JUST DIDN'T SEND IT.

Good Morning, Loungettes!Happy Twofer Tuesday! Waking up to rain this ayem, but warmer. Just crazy. Don't know what kind of clothes to wear on any given day. Oh well, at least it has been really pretty driving! Can really tell the hours of daylight has changed by the way Sadie is shedding, and the darkness by supper time, and the getting up in the dark. I guess it's time to give up and let go of summer.

Jazzy--that is the most fantastic video! What fun!

Goldie--Finding ticks on Sadie is a not uncommon thing, especially this time of year and in the spring. The cool nights/warm days have them out looking for blood meals before winter sets in. it's part of our nightly routine--Sadie gets an all over massage while I check for ticks and burdocks and other stuff. None of the cousins will be staying with me, I live an hour and a half away from where "home" is. I may stay overnight with one of the local cousins, depending on what's going on when. Sounds like you are having the best time with DD. And so fun that she could extend her stay! That is going to be a great surprise for the family. Those combos sound pretty rugged, not that you can really tell by the names. I hope one suits you.

    Hi, Illi!

Jazzy--those are some great pics, especially the one on the bottom! You should submit that one to a show if you get a chance. It's just wonderful. Be safe in the hurricanes.

Chi--weather roller coaster--great analogy! Hope the weather holds for you so you can see the colors and get some hiking in.

Cammi--Actually, I only need to work 3 days a week, but have been working 4 cuz I'm a sucker for a sob story. So it's not a short week, it's a normal week! Columbus Day is one of those "half-assed" holidays--half the world takes it off, half doesn't. Half the doc's offices are closed. Some stores are closed. Most schools, some banks, no mail but FedEx delivers, and it goes on and on. Glad to just get through it. Sounds like Joey is growing up. They all seem to do that eventually. I can just picture him putting lotion on your legs!I'm sure he'll always have time for you.

    Hashy Smoke's DOTD:

    Girl With Balloon Cocktail recipe

    Ingredients:

    • 1 whole egg white
    • 50ml (2oz) Gin
    • 1 Bar spoon of simple syrup
    • 2 bar spoons of strawberry syrup
    • 25ml (1oz) lemon juice

    Instructions:

Add ice and shake and strain in to a chilled coupe glass.

Jazzy, thanks for asking about my DD. They are still rebuilding there, there are still people without power in PR. Tourism is down, so not as much work for her as she cleans those million dollar villas. So money is tight. But other than that she is fine. She was telling me about all the debris that was blown into the hill sides, not sure if they refer to them as mountains or not, but roofs and all kind of stuff that they can't get to and what an eye sore it is. I have seen the Ibrance thread. I was looking at the cost of one of the other drugs, I was shocked! Wait for it.........almost 11,000.00 a month!

Sandy, weather here has been crazy too.

Cami, I posted about my DD in my previous post. My DS is ok, he is in Michigan now, I think heading back today. My DD leaves very early Thursday morning. I believe Joey will ALWAYS make time for you.

NM, have you ever found a tick on yourself? That has to be somewhat scary, but I'm sure they are mostly in the taller weeds and such? The so called "hurricanes" we are getting are really just rain storms by the time they get to us. I don't know why they even call it a "tropical storm". It's rain people, rain! Enjoy time with the cousins. How are your mom and Dick doing?

OMG, I have another half counter of tomatoes. Some not quite ripe enough, and won't have time tomorrow, so will have to do something with them either Thursday or Friday. Will take my DD to Phoenix tomorrow, and then visit with a friend of hers that moved here quite awhile ago. She hasn't seen her in 10 years.

A funny from my mom....talking to her yesterday, she of course is always asking when I will be there, agian I tell her on the 16th, she asks what is the date today, I say the 8th, she says "ok hold on, I want to put that on my calendar" My DD and I lost it and are still laughing about it.

    Mornin Ladies,

WTF, Rain, snow warm to much to soon. FB shows all kinds of weather all over the place. But for now Lori I don't care what it's doing by u, u have ur DD there and that overshadows everything else. I'm so happy she's there for u.

Well Leslie goes in today for yet one more operation, it's so often now someone could just put it on google and we could do it here. This is recockulous, it's like every week. But he said this should be the last one.---echo, heard that before, we'll see.

Kim what a nice feeling u can work 3 days if u choose to, whether u do or not, it's ur choice, that's ideal.

Sandy ur aout done with PT now right??? I hope everything is feeling good.

Jazzy ur busy as anything and yet u still take pics and do things. Wow I admire you and all ur energy, ok maybe a little jelly too.

DARA when is everything starting, this is so exciting and just waiting for u.

Everyone have a great day, I'll check in later.

Goldie- I know another sister here who is Stage IV and live in Canada and could not get the Ibrance paid for through the Canadian health program. Her docs got her in to a special program with Pfizer and got it paid for. I would ask your docs to see if you can qualify too (even the out of pocket part of that may be cost prohibitive with your insurance. Pfizer is the manufacturer. And I am not surprised by the price either. I question the justification for such a price, along with many other meds here in the US. I feel a rant coming on.....

Cami- thanks for your kind words. I am still adjusting to this new schedule, but it has been a month now and finding my groove.

I brought some really tasty coffee in for the team of young men who I work with on one project and they really love the morning brew. They were so cute when I arrived and said "we have been counting the minutes for you to arrive here today!" Lol. Things like good coffee, snacks, etc. mean a lot to hard working teams. I work with great folks and learning a lot from these young men. #geekslovegoodcoffee

Good Morning, Loungettes!Overslept this ayem so just a quick poop in. Tropical weather has returned, went from heat in the ayem to AC in the peeyem. Poor Sadie is just panting.

Goldie--I've never found a tick on myself, would probably freak out if I did! They are usually on the ground and climb up the taller weeds and bushes to try to get on animals/people as they brush bywhen they are looking for a blood meal. Unfortunately, all around my property is tick-favored territory, edge of the woods, bushes, tall grass,etc.$11K a month for meds, WOW. By the time hurricanes get to Maine they are mostly wind and rain, too. Some aren't so bad as a good thunderstorm! LOL at your mom putting the date on the calendar!

Cammy--I am praying this truly is the last surgery for Leslie. She has been through so much.

Jazzy--Good coffee goes a long way with lots of people!Good for you and your team!

Jazzy, I do get asssistance with my meds. There is a great gal at the cancer center that takes care of that for me. That price is rediculous, what are people supposed to do when they don't have health insurance! I have 3 options for treatment, just need to decide which flavor I want to try! I did 5 years on the anastrazole, I tolerated it ok, but did not like the weight gain. Working with a team of young men eh???

NM, what are you up to today?

We are driving to Phoenix today, will visit with my daughter at one of her girlfriends that she hasn't seen in many years. Then her plane leaves for Michigan at 10 am. Some pictures we were playing with....

Kim don't worry u deserve to oversleep whenever u can, u have earned it---the only thing tho it seems to good up the day sometimes. The weather is getting crazy here too, warm cool, rain--whatever.

Oh Lori I love ur pics, u gals look so cute and LOL too---that is so so good for u. All these meds and the costs, oh boy I think we can all weigh in here. It's bad enough enough needed meds but having to worry about how to get them is a sad commentary.

Jazzy it's true, a good cup of coffee is truly waited for---sometimes when it's really good u can't wait to get up in the morning just to have coffee. Well OK I do that.

Leslie got home home around 9pm last nite and resting today---hopefully this is all over. What a week. My niece is taking me to my Dr. this afternoon, so I hope I get my numbers evened out with some meds. Whatever LOL

Thank-you all for your expressions of sympathy. My husband was 66 yrs ( I am 58) He died very fast and sudden. Which I guess if you could pick your death that is a good way to do . Living fine - then dead, with no suffering. My children/grandchildren are having a tough time, since he was retired he helped them a lot. I am learning a lot about things I should already know. When I got cancer he took over everything and I still worked full time but I slept a lot at home. I am now having to do the shopping and all the cooking and paying the bills now. I realized how spoiled I was. I still feel a little in shock and I stay busy with work and all the paperwork to do dealing with this. We will all be fine. It will just take time.

Misty- it is a huge shock to your family. I realize your husband was helping others, but wondering now if your children can help you more, given you are adjusting to a different world? I am single and take care of everything myself and you can do it too, but it will require some some time to adjust. We single gals can give you some tips on things that might help you too because I believe there are at least 2 of us here that have been used to doing it all for quite some time.

I have gone through sudden deaths with family and those that are prolonged. There is just no easy way for those left behind either way.

    Sending you much love Heart

Good Morning, Loungettes!Happy Thirsty Thursday!Yesterday the weather went from hot, humid, hazy, needing max AC in the car in the morning and through lunch, to chilling and needing a sweater by mid afternoon!Must have been a 15 degree temperature drop when the cold front moved through. Today it's chilly and raining. Yuck. Oh well.My cousin gets in from Vegas in a couple hours, going to meet her at the airport and maybe take her to lunch. She's running in a marathon on Sunday, all of us cousins are going to get together tomorrow. Going to have some fun!Sadie will get some "go for a ride" time and will be very happy with that and some extra attention.

Goldie--love the goofy pics! You must be pretty busy researching treatment flavors.Do you have an idea which one you are going with yet?

Cammy--thanks for the permission to oversleep!I took advantage of it this ayem, didn't get up till almost 9!LOL at the Bugs!

    Hi girls,

Just checking in to say hello so a big fat HI to all.

I will start my new job with TD Bank on Oct 19th (friday next week) or Nov 14, depending on whether or not my background check is done before next thursday. I am so dern furcited.

Cammy, I am really sorry for Leslie. I hope this is it for her. Let her know that I feel her pain. You all know that I can relate to her problems. How sweet is that Joey with rubbing your feet! I agree that he will never stop loving you the way he does now and showing you that love. He is not the type to abandon you, he loves you too much! He IS a peach as Jazzy would say,

Lori, glad you are having a great time with your DD. Funny story about your mom and the calendar! I hope you can make a quick decisions on your meds going forward and that the SE's are less harsh than the FU pills.

Jazzy, love the pics of the balloons. You are lucky to live in such a lovely area of the world. Thanks for the good wishes on the new job, I am beyond thrilled!

Sandy, glad your gig went well. I sure miss playing music publicly, it feels good to be part of something so wonderful as making music!

Misty, continued prayers coming your way. I just cant imagine what you are going through. Sending gentle hugs and lots of love your way.

NM, glad you are finding time for yourself. Sleep is good for you. I remember when you were burning the candle on both ends and am so happy you are no longer living that way. Cool that you have TD Bank your way, I knew they are an East Coast company, just did not know they went up to Maine. To me, Maine is almost like another country since it is so far up. Sort of like Texas with being so large. Make sense? Prolly not, but hail, I am dwunk what do I know hehe!

I saw Dr P-rICK yesterday. I had to go to his Bryn Mawr office which is normally a one hour drive. But since my appointment was at 9am, I got stuck in rush hour traffic and it took over 90 minutes. He has to reconstruct the mesh in my stomach. He also suggested revision surgery on both my breasts and my abdomen. My right boob has a large divet on the inside and the left one drooped quite a bit. I have huge scars on my belly from the DIEP Flap and following infection that can also be fixed. Also, I have a super pointy left hip from the DIEP. I told him that I want to wait until I get settled in with my new job before going back into the OR. It has been five years since my flap surgery and I am not yet ready to get the revisions. Plus I will have much better insurance going forward so it just makes sense to wait. It has been a nice break after having 23 surgeries related to the breast cancer and reconstruction. I am still a bit apprehensive over trying to get pretty foobs out of fear of yet another flop or worse, a severe infection. The memories are still so fresh despite the five years that have passed.

Well girls, that is about it. I'd like to say hello to anyone I missed. And again, I will try to poop in more often. I know I always say that but I am sincere that I would love tto do just that.

CheeRs girls, have a great Friday and a super weekend!!!

    Love mese goils!

A scant few months before my own bc journey began, Bob suffered a serious and potentially fatal health crisis requiring several hospitalizations and a couple of surgeries. We did the usual discussion about emergency healthcare decisions and perhaps sitting down and giving each other the usernames and passwords to each others' important web-based and mobile accounts. Then came my abnormal mammo and the whole project was forgotten. There are transactions I can make with a few clicks, whereas he has to pick up a phone; there are other websites to which I have no access. There are mobile apps I have that he resists downloading because he admits to being a bit of a Luddite. (When Gordy was born almost 34 years ago, we couldn't even bank or pay bills by phone--we had to go to the bank or ATM, and use envelopes and stamps--which we had to go to the post office to buy, not print ouy--and write and mail actual checks. No usernames or passwords. Somehow we survived back then).

So the occasion of Bob's finally admitting he needs a new laptop (Windows--he still uses sites & networks that are Mac-incompatible) will give us a chance to sit down and exchange usernames and passwords, download apps, and where only one of us has online access to an account get the other the credentials to do so. If his medical crises (and he had another one last fall as a known probability after the 2015 surgeries) and my bc journey have taught us, it's that life can turn on a dime.

Dara, I hear you about reluctance to undergo yet another set of surgeries to fine-tune the first. Last Dec. my surgical onc. said it would be fine for me to get a breast reduction and even gave me an oncoplastics referral on which I never followed up. I had thought I'd do it this spring or summer...but I didn't plan on falling and making my surgery-of-the-year an orthopedic one. My back PT last week suggested I seriously consider reduction--bilateral at that--to arrest the progress of my shoulders stooping (kyphosis). But today I went to the dentist to finally get the permanent fillings in my root-canaled teeth; and he noticed that my lower front incisors were slowly nudging the healthy upper incisor forward towards where it was when I had the fall on my face at age 10 that started me down the road to orthodontia (twice, and twice failed). He did a bit of gentle sculpting to alleviate that...and gave me an orthodontist referral (apparently safe despite Prolia) for a possible retainer or partial braces. Heeeeere we go again...

Good Morning, Loungettes!Happy Friday! My cousin got in safely, late but safely yesterday. She came through Philly, and got out of there just before flights to Philly started showing as cancelled. I'll be running back and forth to Mount Desert Island all weekend, so may or may not be on the computer over the next few days, so don't be surprised if you don't see me. I'll ketchup everyone next week. Sadie will be traveling with me, so she'll have lots of stories, too!

Dara--Praying the job starts on the earlier date! Seems like an awfully long gap between the two start dates, but I'm sure there is a good reason. And yeah, I do get it, I am always surprised when I see a pic that overlays Alaska on the continental US and shows just how HUGE it is!It doesn't seem like it's been 5 years since your recon from hell experience. I don't blame you for wanting to go slowly. It's not like you HAVE to have these procedures done, so you can choose IF and WHEN to do some or all of them.

Chi--both of you having access to the important sites and accounts is important. Glad you are doing that. It's hard to believe that there are still Mac incompatible sites and apps out there. Sorry you are getting sent back onto the orthodontia merry-go-round.

Cami, middle of the finger day of the week, too funny! How is Les doing?

Misty, I have been thinking of you and wondering how you were handling things. Your DH was way to young to go, but going fast....yes! Glad to hear you are holding up as good as can be. Do you think it really hasn't hit you yet? Glad to see you post.

NM, I have NOT done any research yet, been spending all my time with DD, but she is gone now. And...I leave Tuesday. AND...I have more canning to do today, can you believe it!!! Also, part of me doesn't want to do the research and I just want it all to just go away. But we know that is not happening! Have fun with your cousins, hope to see some pics.

Hey there Wacko, ALWAYS good to see you poop in. I may complain about the SE's of the FU pills, but really, they are quite doable, compared to some. OMG, more surgery? Was it Dr. P-rICK that messed you up? If so, please do not got to him for it. Can't blame you for being apprehensive on more surgery, especially on the infection side of it! How is that sweet Logan doing? And your DD?

Sandy, OMG...here you go again! You need to just stop!!!

Getting last minute stuff done and getting clothes laid out, before I leave out of here Tuesday morning.
