CAZ, ROFL...not really that tough a broad...this happened over the years...you know when you have excruciating pain...then regroup and go on. But was interesting to know I had really broken that many cause the only 1 I knew for sure was the one that went sideways...and that was HORRID painful! LOL about Jocks arm wrestling...I wish my arms WERE that strong! Now I hardly have any strength...have endurance, but not strength. I only got about 30cc @ time for fills...just minimal discomfort with that...plus I always took advil beforehand. And my PS required me to take antibiotics before each fill...one time I added an add'l fill so hadn't taken antibiotics, and the PS gave me one of his..really a nice guy. Glad your mini reunion wasn't too bad. Oh, I was surprised the pit bosses were so cavalier also...but when the dealer kept joking with them...I thought "why not". I think I got more daring since Junie was in on it too...we could have ganged up on him...lol. Like Lori said, get a photobucket acct...then it is easy once you have uploaded the pics you want to post, to photobucket.

CAZ, just got back from the almost final fill and scheduled a date for my last surgery.  No work for me today so I will try to tell you how to do the pics.  Like Lori said.....make an account with Photobucket.  It is free.  After you get your account made, login to it and then hopefully you will see a box like this:

Then you click on choose file button and go find the pictures on your computer.  A seperate window will come up with your file folder locations.  Notice below also there is a place to choose sizes too.  Then after you do that you should see your picture, or pictures in your album.  Click on one you want to put in your post and you should see something like this:

Then highlight the line that says Direct Link in the area I have the red circle around.  Copy it by highlighting it.  Then come back to the BCO post box and when you are ready to paste that picture in, click on the little tree icon next to the smiley emoticon and you should get a box that looks like this:

Paste or hit (cntrl v) in the box that says Image URL.  You should see the long html link to photobucket picture in there.  Then you can use the alignment box to align it left or whatever you like.  Then click insert.  You should be able to see it.  Play around a bit with sizing and get familiar with photobucket.  You can edit things in it too.  I am not the best at explaining so I tried to post some pictures so you could see.  Sorry for the long post drinking buddies.  CAZ, let me know if you have any questions.  Cheers, HunkyD

    Hey Buds~

Hope everyone is doing well today. Sounds like everyone has been "fire free" which is good LOL

Dee - how was the Billy Squier concert? LOVE Billy Squier. EVERYBODY WANTS YOU

Lori - glad you like your new doc, but I'll sure miss your Tulsa visits. :-( Sounds like the wedding plans are coming right along!! It will be Oct before you know it.

Kathy - 4 broken toes? Are you making that up LOL Probably injured yourself dancing on the bar AGAIN.

I'm sneaking in some time at work. The witch is on vacation this week. It's almost like getting an extra week myself, even if we are 1500 miles away from each other.

Has anyone tried the Captain Morgan's Key Lime rum? It's YUMMY. Very refreshing mixed with 7up and a lime wedge on a hot summer day!

    Cheers,
    Donna

Hey Lori...the broken toes reminded me of this....are you going to be barefoot at the wedding.  Isn't that tradition.  Heck, I don't know.  I would have to be saving up for a pedi if that is the case.  Donna, you have to love it when "ding dong the witch is gone."  Makes work a lot better!  Glad you are enjoying your Cappy Key Lime.  I haven't had it with 7up.  Sounds pleasant as something to sip on by the pool.  I think I have been at the lounge a long time today.  No work...I have to love that.  Had the boys here to wait on me.  On pain meds again.  After my fill this morning,  PS was manipulating, or trying to move my expander today over a bit.  Ouch.  Wants husband to do this every day too.  Not seeming real romantic to me. I don't want DH to have this lasting impression of rock hard coconut shell foob. Oh well, we do what we must.... and now, I must have another drink.  TTenders are watching my medication vs alcohol intake.  Said I am good to go.  Good Evening!  HunkyD

My husband and I have a martini every evening before dinner.  He drinks gin.  I drink vodka.  It's such an enjoyable time of the day.  But tonight I can't drink because my surgery (bilateral with immediate 1-step recon.) is tomorrow morning at 7am, and the instructions say "no alcohol 24 hrs. prior to or after surgery."  But once I'm off pain meds, I intend to continue drinking in moderation.  Continue exercising.  Continue eating a healthy diet.  Continue doing all those things that were supposed to help me avoid going through what I've been going through the last month.

Have a drink for me tonight, please!!!

Carole, welcome to the Hot Tatties Lounge!!! Yeah, you really can't drink tonight, but I am downing a Seagrams/Diet Coke for you...is that okay? You said "1-step recon"...does that mean your final implants will be put in right after the mast? Be sure to take it easy after surgery....take all the pain meds you need. I had recon, but had just slightly filled expanders put in after bilat mast. Was nice waking up to some clevage...didn't want to see a flat chest. But even that was quite a recovery, so please let everyone that offers to, wait on you! And of course, you can lounge here by the pool and have the Tattie Tenders wait on you too....just no alcohol for awhile...sob. Please check in with us as soon as you feel like getting online, so we'll know how you are doing. Wishing you the very best tomorrow, and during recovery!!! (((HUGS)))

Hunky, what GREAT directions you gave to CAZ!! You really are good at all that...I don't know how you add all the cool stuff...haven't figured that out yet, but don't have much time to spend learning it right now. So, please keep posting your cool pics!! Yeah, barefoot is good esp if a beach wedding. But Lori isn't getting married on the beach, so maybe some fancy flipflops would work. OK now...this is really just my first sip of my first drink, really, but I was reading your post real fast, and it looked like you said  your "PS was masturbating"..lol. That really woke me up! But yeah, that is not a cool thing to do, to have to manipulate your implant...hope your DH will think that is romantic!? Is it not in the right position? Maybe after you (and he) drink enough, it might seem romantic...gotta hope, right? Boy the things we have to go through with this bc that we never would have imagined in our wildest dreams.

Donna....you found me out....yup it was that darn table dancing! Gotta control myself...lol.

Carol, can't wait to see the pics...so hope you try to post them!

Hope everyone is having a good evening. Junie, you have a LOT of posts to catch up on when you get back home.

    Pau Hana,

    Kathy

Kathy, I hear ya on the strength thing. What's up with that? Sometimes I need two arms just to open a door walking into a store!

Hunky, thank you for posting the photo bucket instructions. I was going to give it whirl, but hey, I think you probably did a better job than I would have! Plus it gave you something to do on your day off. Which by the way, I'm glad you had. Rest girl. As for the barefoot part, I don't know yet. I have shoes that will go with the dress, but barefoot looks good too. I do my own nails, but usually just wear bright pink. I love pink. And it has nothing to do with BC. It's what I have always worn. Anyways, on my grocery list, I have French Manicure. So I am going to buy one and see if I can do it myself. If not, then I will just go with something very pale.

All you ladies and your recon surgeries. I feel for ya. I only had a lumpectomy, but then again, my surgeon was a butcher/veternarian. But I am not speaking badly of vets now, don't get me wrong! I don't know if I actually should have had mast. or not. But too late now. I have had plenty of other surgeries.

Carolhalston, I don't recall if you have been here before or not. If not, well ........WELCOME! Tis a wonderful lounge with lots of great gals and the tattie tenders (Pants & Jocks) will take good care of you!

Donna, good to see you as always. Glad you are getting a little relief on the work end. I too will miss you. I am going to see if they will keep my case open there, just in case something arises and I need or want to go back there. They truely are the best. When Darrell was there visiting me and we went antiquing, well he really liked it, so there is a good chance we could be back some day. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

CAZ, hope you are successful at the pictures, would love to see them!

Junie, hope you are recooperated from company, or are you getting more this weekend???

Jaybird, and everyone else..................hope all is GOOD!

Oh my gosh golly Wahine....there was definately not any manipularbation going on.  My husband was in the room too.  You are right...the things we have to do is often ridiculous and embarassing.  I will certainly have a drink for a new lounge lizard.... Carole.  That will not be a problem for me.  Hope your surgery goes very well tomorrow and Kathy is right...Take it easy afterwards.  Do check back with us.  There is a boatload of very caring women here.  We may joke around a lot but we have all waded through the mud in one way or another.

DH is gone golfing so I needed to stay here at the lounge as he doesn't want me home alone.  HunkyD

Hi Carole, welcome to the lounge.  Best of luck with your surgery.   I envy you your one step implants.  Ask Dee how much tissue expanders cramp a girl's style.  We'll be raising a glass to you for the next few days.  One more excuse, right ladies?

Hunky,  my eyes began to cross halfway through your post.  I'll try having my DH help first.  He's leaving tomorrow for 9 days, so If I can't get it done by then, I'll reread and try to focus like a big girl.  Thank you so much.

Carol, You are beautiful! Thanks for posting the pics. Your hair looks great, and you look so happy. I remember when you were painting your dining room (I think)...and that is a really neat color. Very vibrant, and hey, matching the Hop Stoopid label is an extra plus! SO nice to be able to picture you now....many many thanks.

Ok Hunky, you're next....please post a pic one of these days! Hunky, I knew that there was no "manipularbation" going on....heck I can hardly even spell that...but when I scanned the message real quick that is what caught my eye...(didn't know if I should even write that word...lol), love your new word though. Glad you didn't have to stay home alone. We always have this good place to come to.

Lori, Junie is out-of-town this weekend, so I know she will have tons to catch up on. And we might have to have buckets of iced ML's ready for her when she returns! Wonder where Pants and Jocks are....I haven't seen them for awhile. Good luck on doing the french manicure!

    Take care everyone,

    Kathy

Oh, is there any hope for me??? Just have as good a time as you can, and give us the juicy details when you return! Sorry we couldn't let you take Pants or Jocks, but I think Hunk might be ready for a road trip....

Yay CAZ, you did it! Put yur big girl panties on and did it! Not so hard, eh? I can't believe your mom would complain about anything on you. And look at all that hair! No curls? When was your last chemo treatment, or did you not have chemo? Ditto what everyone else said about the wall and drink. Sub contiously or on purpose, that must be where the color came from.

I am laughing again at "that word". I read it and just laugh, can't help it. Kathy, I can spell it, if I look at it, I have a harder time trying to pronounce it!

Junie have a fun safe trip, and lots of ML's.

Hunky, you staying home today? If so, make sure these boys take good care of you.

We are off to town early this morning. DF (dear fiancee)lol, has dentist appt. then shopping and also ordering new bedroom furniture. Outdoor chores tomorrow and cleaning, friends coming over on Sunday for burgers and out quad riding.

See ya all, probably in the morning for coffee

    Hey Lori,

No chemo just PBM.  The wall color was initially inspired by a plate, but after putting swatches of various greens on the wall, we realized the one we liked best was closest to another beer label...Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.  Who knew my liver would have an opinion on decorating.

My DH is gone for the next 9 days, so this weekend I'm off to the cabin to read on the deck and cook comfort foods.

    Cheers all,

Can't believe I missed "Thrilling Thursday" last night. Boy, I must have been brain dead. Lori, was it any fun? What were the guys up to?

    Hey Yaaallllll,

Hunky, I will be going for a D, I was DD before all this happened. So I have at least 5-6 more fills to go. The PS said I will be around 925 or so. He has filled up to 1250 cc so I guess its not uncomon to him. I thought it was alot too after reading all the posts about fills, but I am at 675 cc right now and am only a large B. I am back to sleeping in the recliner or propped up on alot of pillows in bed. If I lay flat I can't get up...lol Plus VERY painful! Kathy, I did see Dancing with the stars and it was very emotional for sure. What is up with all the butt whammies going on around here ?? I have talked to more and more people having this done lately. Is this something that all BC ladies need to be doing?

I sure hope not. I am going to a Jazz and Rib fest tonight downtown and I am NOT driving, going to get a buzz and have some ribzz...mmmm Cya in the lounge soon. Have a great weekend! `Okole maluna

Thanks for the info Dee.  I don't understand the fills.  I am going to end up with a total of 500cc he says and that is an overfill.  I don't have a clue what I will end up as.  I just pray for reasonable symmetry with my oddball reconstruction.  I have been sleeping at a 30 degree prop up position so long I think it is affecting the width of my hind end....lol.  That reminds me....I need to sign up for a butt-o-scope sometime but I am going to get through this first.  Have fun at the Jazz fest.  I am going to see what is happening in the lounge.  Just got home from 4 hours of work and boy I am ready to sit and have a cool one.  HunkyD

Hi HunkyD, joining you at the bar! Looks like several guys in here tonight..but thats ok...keeps us on our toes. I like the calming blue lights...very peaceful! Okay Pants, set me up with my Seagrams/Diet Coke please.
Dee, Thanks for writing the more acceptable form of "bottoms up"....Okole Hau is more slang, dating back to when they made that liquor there....and that goes waaaay back! They also stopped making Primo beer long ago, but I heard they started making it again. Used to be the cheap beer to buy, but I heard it is priced like the premiums now. The jazz 'n rib fest sounds like fun...maybe you can bring some ribs to us at the bar on your way home. BTW, I ended up with a large C I think...don't have to wear a bra so I really don't know...lol. Still have to get the 3D tatts though...maybe this fall so I can go to Asheville and see the beautiful leaves. Have fun!

You girls with your reconstruction surgies, my hats off to you! Pain, fills, sleeping in recliners. If I ever have to have that done, I will be scared to death! I have implants, but they had nothing to do with BC! Got them when I was 45. I was flat as a pancake, and I always thought that because I had hardly any breasts, I probably would never get BC. Fooled me, eh? Anyways, I wish all of you the best in healing and getting through all that it involves.

Ok, enough 'bout that. Dee, as for the butt whammies, or heiny scopes, or whatever you want to call it. It's just something everyone should have done. I am told 50 is the golden age to do it. Then depending on what they find, determines when you have the next one. I have to another one in 5-8 years. It really is an easy proceedure. Like everyone that has had one, they will tell you, the prep is the WORSE part of it. Jaybird had another proceedure along with hers, which caused some pain/discomfort. Jazz & rib fest? Sounds like a ton of fun, have a blast

CAZ, we don't have many places to shop up here, usually just WalMart. I looked for some HopStoopid, they didn't have any Frown. We do have a Safeway, but didn't go there yesterday. I will have to look there. Where is your cabin? Have a wonderfully relaxed time.

Damn Kathy, you are asking the wrong person. Creative/imaginative mind I have not! Especially on such short notice. Now if you ask me a week in advance, so I have time to think of something, I might be able to come up with something. And all this Hawaiian talk, please translate and put in pronunciations. Then I will know what you are saying, what it means and maybe learn something to use when we go.

Hunky, you must be a graphic artist! If not, you should be! Kathy, the first thing I saw was Hunk on the tv screen. Then I looked good and hard to see if there was anything else. As with the last picture, I missed the cat in the tree, and then came back another time to hear of the oven mit. I missed that too! I just saw the guys! Speaking of guys....my step daughter just got back from Vegas. While there she went to see Thunder From Down Under. Got her pic taken with them.

    thunder

We should try and book them for this coming Thursday. How much more thrilling could Thursday be, than with Thunder!!!!!

Well, better get to cleaning and planting. Bought more flowers while we were out yesterday and got my bedroom furniture ordered. Can't wait to get it!

Gentle hugs to all my buds here. Junie, hope you are having fun!

Lori, I am jealous of your stepdau. She does look really happy sitting there...duh! Wonder if any of those good lookin guys are left in Aussie land so I can see them..maybe walking down the street? Yeah, see if you can book them for next Thurs...that will SURELY keep Jocks and Pants on their toes (or on whatever...lol). Okay.... Okole Maluna (Oh-Koh-Lee Mah-Lou-Nah) means the official "Bottoms Up". Hau'Oli Maoli Oe (How-Oh-Lee Mah-Oh-Lee Oye) means "Much Happiness to You" which is another drinking cheer, or good wish. Okole Hau (Oh-Koh-Lee How) is slang for "Bottoms Up" since it was a very strong (almost like moonshine) :) clear liquor which they stopped making in Hawaii several yrs ago (70's?), and every one used to say that when they would down liquor. If you want to tell someone as you part...."Until We Meet Again", that would be "A Hui Hou"  (Ah Who-Ee Hoe). Hope that helps...and that you can understand my pronunciations! Actually, my bilat mast and recon was easier than what Hunky is going through...cause she had the tram (is that right, hunky?). I knew I couldn't do a tram because of my bad back....I had heard you can't stand straight for awhile. And although the pain was very, very rough...after a few weeks it is so much better, and then a year later that is just a memory. I do still hate the numbness though, and worrying about getting hurt and not knowing it.....like a rose thorn or sharp branch when trimming bushes, etc. Ok....you might think this is funny...lol...told you what a klutz I am....or maybe cause I just keep doing too much...well I was working really hard in this heat (yup the heat is back) in the garage and putting up boards to put nails on and hang things up, etc., and ...you guessed it....I hammered my baby finger! Ouch! Where was DH?....napping inside in the cool house of course!!! Auwe (Ah-Way)!!! (Means sorta like "Oh Shucks", or "Sheesh", something like that)!

Boy, he sure was gone a LONG time...lol. My Dh made some yummy peach daiquiris yesterday w/ fresh peaches and ice cream.....yummmm. Might have to have Pants make those for us while it is still peach season (we have orchards just a few miles away, so they are REALLY fresh and ripe).

Wishing everyone a wonderful day today!

Ooooooooh Kathy, that sure sounds yummy. I have two please!

We had a great time out 4 wheeling. The friends that came over, left with a ton of petrified wood. We know a spot where there is lots of it. They have one of those Polaris machines, and it can take a ton or two, don't remember which. But big rocks get to be pretty heavy!

The planting season has come to an end, so business is slow. Down hill from here, until next spring!

I would love the peach drink.  Hold the I scream in mine though.  My weight is on high watch....level orange.  Wahine...you are right...I did have the tram, on one side.  Other one is just a prophylactic mastectomy with the expander.  I can not imagine them even getting one more fill in this boob but I am trusting him to know what he needs for symmetry.  Lori, I wish I was winding down at work.  I have to start going again for two months.  Got to get my strength and pain gone before you get married  Then you can come back and share pictures from wedding.  I don't want to have to wander back through all these posts, but what is your date in Oct?  Sorrry, brain doesn't retain anything much still.  Bar has been quiet, but I bet we will have some people show up.  I don't think we can afford to hire those Thunder boys....but they sure were perty!  Thursday night and Thunder....clear the pool....there might be lightning.  Hope this Monday night finds you all feeling great.  Now, I'm going to go join wahine and Lori for some peach swill.  Do they leave the seed in it?  Love ya all.....HunkyD
