Awwwww..... Dorothy so sawwy you are upset with your DH. Hope you can retreat to your woman cave and watch Am Idol from last night! Good for you for quitting your BS....I go to mine as I did not have an onc, so this is my only check for bc. He says ins won't pay for the MRI to check for leaking silicone implants, and that is always a concern of mine. Funny about you not being able to tell the Charlie Sheen joke that Kymn enlightened us on. I have been able to tell it, and think its so funny, but obviously not his REAL situation. Hope someone will get help for him, and soon. Thanks for the Seagrams...I can always count on you! Nice to be dwinking with you!

    Ciao!

Kathy, I AM in my cave lol. And it is raining cats and dogs. I am watching Jeopardy! and having a drink. I have my littlest pooch with me too out here. I put on the heater to take the dampness out of the air although it is now 52 degrees out. Figures, it seems whenever we have mild temps, there is rain. But I noticed this week that my tulips have popped out of the ground and Spring is finally coming here too! I will driwk to that! Ciao!

Chrissy, is your trip the Pinkstock? thing?  I remember when I first joined this rat bastard club reading about that gathering.  Sounded so fun!  Have you been before?  Did you get to meet Alaska Deb?  Wow, hope you have the greatest time.  Dorthy, good news about the girl eh?  You WILL keep her this time!  About my mouth....it is from Botox...and my PS said the droop will work its way out.  It is kinda like when your implant fluffs.  Well, that is what happened to my mouth I think.  I think it will be fixed by St. Patty day.  One good thing....I really don't have to wear green.  Kymn, hold tight.  It will be here and be done, and you will be happy you did it.  Won't be fun, but you will rejoice in the end.  Speaking of that, make sure you do not become constipated.  I always had a supply of Shit 1, Shit 2, and Shit 3 handy as well.  Just kidding about the shit 1,2,3.  I only labeled my puke meds that way.  You will do fine!!!   Kathy, I am ready for Monday on da bus.  SHOTGUN!  Lori, can you go on the bus?  Junie, can you go?  Bring some scratch tickets OK?  AStorm & NM, quite the funny pictures.  Jaybird, guess you had to be airborne again today.  Hope you had a good week with Avery.  Karen, lmao about the AC. Atlantic City=mucho better!   As far as the tee shirts Beans...I like the price is wrong bitch one.  I loved that scene with Bobby Barker.  I doubt wearing that shirt would get you on the show however!  Stanzie, your dinner sounds hectic.  Loved your story about the cell phone in the movie...I could just imagine you doing that.  Wonderful to laugh.  Claire...have a big tumbler of Tanqueray and Tonic.  That will heal you up nice and fast.  Got to go....DH home.  I know I missed somebody (Dee) but I WILL catch you next time.  Honkydory

HD........OUCH!!!!     lol   No, Chrissy isn't going to PinkStock, it is a get-together from the older gals thread. I wanted to go to PinkStock when I first joined this site, as they all seem like really neat gals. But never did that. It is in upstate NY...wonder if they are doing it again this year? Think we all might be able to meet up with Chrissy somewhere???????

Junie, did you do Pinkstock?  I thought somebody here did that.  Oh well, likker has saturated, and or permeated my brain, but me thinks the chemo elixir precipitated an even worse condition upstairs.  Time for dinner and then Idol!  HD

Oh My goodnesss - the only way now to keep up on this thread I swear is to check in at least 3-4 times a day......

Kymn - You have a lot to think about and deal with but gosh these lovely drinkers do give the most excellent advice and with such warmth and love - I know you will be fine!!! And especially with all that pink leopard - you know I've heard cancer is absolutly terrified of that very rare, expensive and ferious pink leopard - so just keep that around you and it will protect you!

Clair so sorry you are not feeling well. You really must not feel well to have bowed out of some of the activities. Well, maybe those silk thong activities might be part of the recovery protocol?

Now I can't remember who will be on the Price is right?

    Karen

Kathy- well rats on the dishwasher! Seems like that plumber should be giving you discounts or at least moving in if he is cute.

Love all the pictures throughout the day.... one day I'll try more.

HD - very exciting that the botox will wear off on St. Patricks - gosh why don't you have to wear green??? I don't see anything.....

Dorothy - well that really wasn't nice at all of your hubby to say... hmm? Well, just ignore him and you can vent and complain all you want and we will always still love you~

Beanie, NM and Astorm - all good advice... sigh I don't think I can even remember what it was like not thinking about BC so much..... wow.... what a change....

Claire - thongs (plural?) ... you mean a pair of thongs (like you wear on your feet) or we each wear a thong?  About giving up wine... that's a quality of life impairment that I am not ready to accept. At least treatment last for only a brief period (which probably feels longer than it really is). But permanently giving up anything I enjoy seems counter intuitive to "living".

    Oh! Its American Idol time!

    TGIF loungettes!

I am shocked at the devastating news of the tsunami in Japan and also hoping that the US does not get hit.  Kathy, I hope your parents will be alright. The coverage is shocking, to say the least. Geez, not what I wanted to see when I woke up. Sending lots of prayers to all of those affected.

Okay, can someone now tell me who got voted off of Idol? Darn, I fell asleep again. I only saw the first girl that was named into the bottom three then dozed off until 9pm when DH woke me up.I think it was Kathy's bottle o champagne that put me out this time. Darn.

Astorm, did you ever find out who ordered the movie lol? You think one is trying to tell ya something?? The pics are adorable, love the newscast of the kitty taking down the choo choo.

Time to get ready for work. Have a great day, my friends!!! Peace!!

Dotty, I can't think of the girls name but it was the little lass who sang the Dianna Ross song.  She actually did sound very much like Dianna Ross without the power and control.

So far Aus is okay regarding the tsunami but we are on alert.  Haven't heard too much news of Japan yet but will check it out later.

Hope everyone has a good day!  I'm heading for the pool I need to dip the toes in the pool.....PaNtZ!!!!   drinks please and keep 'em coming....I need a bit of relaxation!

Not much time to post. Didn't sleep well and need to go to town today.

Watching on the news about Japan and Hawaii. Just terrible! Karen and Kathy praying that you son (Karen) and your parents Kathy are NOT affected.

Kymn, I am so sorry that your hubby is not being very understanding. Hopefully in time he will and I sure hope he is there for you! I think like others said, he is just scared. They do say that cancer is sometimes harder on the care givers than the person with cancer.

Dorothy, so glad to hear that all is going well the poopy titty. I call it poopy as it is not shitty anymore, since you seem to be healing.

Kathy, the website is hulu, not hula! That one takes you to something about Hawaii.....go figure. And this weeks show is not available yet to watch.

Love and Hugs to you all. Sunny and low 70's here........loving it. But you never know when below freezing temps will hit here at night.

OMG, that news is so devastating. Been seeing videos of Japan and it is so unbelievable. Haven't been up long enough to see which areas in Japan have been hit the hardest And the loss of live, so sad. I can't believe that some places we LOVED visiting have been hit so bad with earthquakes (Thailand (Phuket), New Zealand, and now Japan). We went back to Japan a day after getting home from that horribly long trip, cause we enjoyed the small town of Narita so much. Haven't heard from my parents yet, and hope they are NOT at their beach condo, and if at home HOPE they went up the the apartment above garage and not staying in the house. I know it rarely hits their side of the island so hoping they heed the warnings, as they say this will wrap around each island. I will let you know when I hear from them. Thanks for the concern.

Lori, Thanks for keeping me straight! LOL....of course I would think it was hula and not hulu!!! Sorry gals, hope it didn't mess anyone up, but Lori is right, it is hulu.com. You are right, I forgot about Karen's son being there too. Hope he is on high land, Karen. If he is staying near UH, he is on high enough ground, it is quite inland.

Dorothy, sawwy about the champagne....it WAS good doing down though wasn't it? I love adding the peach schnapps to asti. I think the girls name was "Ashton" or something. She was good, but not my favorite. Sad to see anyone get voted off though.

    Love y'all, Kathy

Update: Woke my dad up (apparently they have had people calling all night, and it is just after 4 am now), and Thank God they are up in the apartment, which is a bit higher and farther back then the house. Their street is the evacuation mark, and their side is not supposed to have to evac, but hey, who knows if it will cross the street or not, right? I think it is hitting Kauai right now...

I hope all of you on the West Coast will be ok too....quite a long area that is under threat right now.

unbelievable so very scary, most of DH's family lives on the west coast vancouver and vancouver island where there is the tsunami watch . Will have to text them later and see if they have been evacuated. My brother lives there too but more inland so he should be ok if it hits.

going out tonight on the town I am very excited. Hubby is taking me to dinner then to a pub to watch a band I love listening to live bands. Hope this day goes by fast dont feel like working today.

No, I have learned to call those flip flops.  I was referring to those silk "next to nothings" which sell for a price that comes to something like $400 per yard.  But oooooooohhhhhhhhh so worth it.

I have a pair of Dolce ones that I once found for sale for $3 because they were marked an odd size.  And a couple of other pairs.

On another note, the well-meaning husband of one of my old friends called me at 5 AM to warn me of the tsunami and make sure I didn't drown in it.  I don't think they have even shut down the ferries here, as very little danger.  I really could have used the sleep as still have the creeping crud.

I suspect I will not be skiing this weekend.  Bummer.

We are watching the news coverage at work on the psunami. Omg, so very terrible, I have goosebumps down my spine.

I was told that the gal who got the wild card went home last night on AI.

Kathy, I will be praying that your parents are okay and will check in today for updates.

Goldie, no wonder I could not find the link to Wed. AI, I may try to watch it this weekend, thanks! And poopie titty is appropriate. I am so envious of your gorgeous weather. The rain is just clearing out around here and it is chilly.

Chrissy, drink some for me please. They are on to me at work and have put a breathalizer in my cubicle - I can not log onto the system without blowing first lol. I sure hope everything is alright there and that you do not need to evacuate.

I guess I will sign off for now, been watching TV for an hour here and I do have work to do. i

In answer to the tsunami question, I think a lot more damage from the wind.  I couldn't believe how much it was howling last night.  I think the main area of concern is California southward.

I read the local news online, and my take is they are evacuating only those in low-lying coastal areas here in WA State.  That is not the Puget Sound area which is quite protected.

We all have those devastating pictures from a few years ago in our heads, but at least here, 4-6' waves.  The larger concern is weird currents.  So not a beach day, and I suspect a bit of flooding.  It may be otherwise elsewhere, and of course those poor people in Japan.

Saying a prayer for all the lost souls and the survivors of the Japan earthquake. I am safe (and sound?) in Moscow but many of my co-workers are over there, hopefully all are safe.

Chemo? Rads? I fought both but ended up doing the "standard" despite not wanting to. I guess I'm happy that I did it all. I'm 6 years out and so far so good. It's all such a personal decision. Both chemo and rads have their pros/cons, good/bad and I respect all decisions.

I'm still nursing my cold so only having 2 beers tonight (it's 7pm here). Cheers! Hope all we know are safe and sound!

On a "brighter"(?) note, my surg time will be 11 am Monday....just got the call. If I am feeling up to it, will go to the casinos next Friday for 2-3 days, as we were invited to a dinner party at Hollywood casino. Junie, wish you would be up to it and we could meet up with you there!

I am PISSED! To the MAX. Just got a call from my onc's office. I pay over $30,000.00 a year to have health insurance. Was suppose to have a Bone and CT scan on the 25th. Insurance has denied it, says it isn't necessary as I don't have any signs or symptoms of recurrence! WTF!

Said maybe doc would see if they would cover for just a chest x-ray. Well I have no idea what could show up on that in regards to cancer.

Give me the strongest drink we have! Sorry for the rant, my problem is much much smaller than what is going on in Japan...............sorry Lord!

Oh that really does suck, Lori! Can you dr resubmit and say "post-menopausal" or "osteopenia"...I notice my dr put post-menopausal, and it is covered, plus I had some osteopenia last time. My dr advises it for me every 2 yrs. Sure hope there is something he can put as a probable reason why you need it, and then they will cover it. Fingers crossed!
